I received excellent service from Juan Carlos. The communication was super easy and he was very responsive, I never waited more than 20-30 minutes for a response to any text. He installed the fan in the exact time quoted and cleaned up everything beautifully before he left. He even gave my dog lots of pets which made his day. Highly recommend!

I finally found an electrician whom
I can rely on and does a great job at fair price. My smoke alarm went off a few weeks ago and it is located on the ceiling where it can only be accessed via a ladder. Juan Carlos came over and replaced the battery but after couple of weeks when it went off for couple of weeks, he came over and changed the entire unit which is hard-wired the next day. I appreciate his work and energy and honesty.

Fast service and fix. Needed a last minute fix and JC came out quickly, identified the issue and got it fixed.

I posted a project on Yelp, soliciting for outfits who could help - and JC was the most immediately responsive, offering his cell # and availability to come the same day. He arrived promptly on time, was great with communication, diagnosing the issue, and helping to design a solution to my problem that was thoughtful, long-lasting, and "to code." (which resolved improper work done by a previous handyman)

JC's pricing was transparent and fair, and his work ethic is top notch, and I've had him come back for add'l work since - which was equally high quality, on time, and a job well done.

I hired JC to convert about 7 of the electrical plugs in my home from 2-prong to 3-prong. JC was extremely responsive: we messaged through Yelp & he was at my home, working within the hour. JC's was the lowest of 6 quotes & the speed was incredible; he was done within an hour! I was able to pay by check but he also accepts Zelle. JC charged me $600 while all other quotes started at $1,000. JC showed up with all the needed materials & I was pleased with the work; JC left my home tidy and with all plugs in perfect working condition. JC was polite and kind going so far as to show me & explain to me how the wiring is set up in my home, and to offer some advice in a way that did not feel pushy. I was very pleased with the work & service; I would absolutely hire JC again.

Juan was great. He replied quickly to our inquiry to have an outlet installed for an electric stove. He was able to come the same day to take a look at the situation and was able to come the next day and complete the work. He was tidy and pleasant to interact with. The job was competitively priced given our particular needs. We would contact him in the future for electrical projects.

I can't recommend JC Alameda Electrician enough, we had an issue with a light in our house that we could not figure out despite multiple hours spent researching and testing the issue. After deciding it was out of our expertise we decided to call JC, he responded to me within minutes and even came the same day to check our house out. After checking things out and giving us a quote we were still unsure, so he offered to do a quick investigation to see if we can nail down the exact issue. After just a few short minutes he was able to not only diagnose the issue, but resolve it as well! Since it didn't require any parts replacement or any amount of time to fix, he offered to do these for free!!! He was so kind and courteous about the whole situation and didn't even accept partial payment even though we offered to still compensate him for his time.

We suddenly lost power to several of our electrical outlets which were being used by our main television and entertainment center (crisis!). We checked the circuit breakers but still couldn't get anything to work, so I had to run a long extension cord from another room (hazard!) to keep things powered up.

I contacted JC Alameda Electrician Services and Juan was available that same day so we set up an appointment for the afternoon.

Juan was on time and was very friendly and professional. He did some troubleshooting and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and in less than half an hour had replaced one of our "faulty" outlets which restored power to the other outlets in the room.

My experience and interactions with Juan were all very positive. He even followed up the next day just to make sure everything was in working order. If you are in need of an electrician I would highly recommend JC Alameda Electrician Services.

I needed a new electrical outlet to power my washer & dryer that needed to be on it's own breaker. The job itself was definitely more work than I had originally anticipated, and due to the position of the panel and the laundry location, the job definitely required a well-thought out strategy. Every step of the way JC kept me well informed, presented different options and even safeguarded for future planning that I never would've thought of given I was more focused on the immediate need.
