The wait staff explained the menu exceptionally well. The smoked tuna and the lettuce wrap appetizers were incredibly well balanced in their flavors. My wife and I shared two main dishes - the short ribs from the son's side of the menu and the pork loin with sweet potato noodles from the mom's side. Ribs were tender, fall off the bone delicious. We couldn't get enough of the noodles, pork loin and veggies. Paired the meal with a nice Bordeaux and the food, service and experience was worth every penny.

This is probably the best meal we've had on all of Vancouver island! Food was super yummy Korean fusion. We had the mandoo dumplings, bulgogi, ribs, and poke bowl. Everything was super delicious, but our fave was probably the bulgogi--it came with these crisp puffed rice seaweed crackers and a dipping sauce. The dumplings were super flavorful and while the dish comes with 3, you can add on an extra for $3. The poke bowl was fresh, and you can choose to have it either sweet or spicy. The ribs were one of my kids favorites. All dishes have a bit of sticky rice underneath which was perfect to absorb all the yummy sauces.

Restaurant is cozy and stylish, and service was fast. Will def be back if ever in tofino again!

This was definitely a unique find in a town like Tofino. It was elevated Korean food, and they had a limited menu. However, you can tell that they really focused on delivering quality. At first glance, all the dishes seem to be very overpriced, as we would be able to get the equivalent dishes in Cities like Vancouver for almost half the price. However, the dining experience really sets it apart. The interior of the restaurant had an open kitchen design, and the servers were very polite and knowledgeable about the dishes. They made an effort to tell the story of the owners of the restaurant through their menu, and we're attentive to our needs. We love Korean food and we're a bit skeptical of the quality, but we're generally impressed by what they delivered. One of our favorites was a nostalgic Korean drink called sujeongwa.

There are two Asian restaurants in Tofino. This one is the newest addition. The other one is a Chinese/Western food restaurant. A staple for small communities in North America.

It's family run and open for roughtly a year at the time of this review. Why did I come here? KFC of course. That said, I asked for the goopy sauce on the side, instead of the chicken drowning in it.

It's Korean and the flavours are K inspired. That's where it kinda ends. It borders on being fusion. Korean-west coast fusion. See some of my pics. You won't commonly find arugula salad as a staple in Korean food.

Good alternative to the Chinese/Western fare if you're in for something different.

This is the best food i had in tofino. It's delicious and creative and you can tell the chefs put care into it. The bolgogi served with the rice crispy nori strips was unbelievably good and i have never had it served this way. There were no bad dishes. they turn tables quickly

This place is so unexpected for Tofino. Absolutely delicious. Elevated Korean food. The Bulgogi was an absolute standout with mushrooms. Everything was delicious.

Phenomenal Beef Galbi! Great atmosphere and fantastic customer service. Our server Sally, guided us through the extensive drink selection and the food offerings were truly outstanding.

Very good Korean food and kind service. A really nice alternative to the bigger and pricier places around here.

This family run restaurant is the perfect balance of looks and taste! So glad to find some good Korean food in this relatively small town. It really is a treasure.
DO get the octopus. The tenderly blanched octopus is paired perfectly with white kimchi, flavorful oil, and fennel fronds for an amazing PNW meets Korean bite.
DO get the BBQ ribs. Omg these reminded me of my grandma's ribs, especially how it was served over rice. All the sticky glaze and juicy pork fat soaked into each grain of rice and the fall of the bone meat was just what we needed.
DONT be like us and over order. We definitely were stuffed by the end. The ribs do come with rice and we got japchae and corn fritters as well so it was too much for 2 of us haha.
We love Tofino so we'll be back and we'll be sure to come back to Jeju.

This was a recommendation from someone who lives in Tofino. When we asked about getting dinner, Jeju was the first place he mentioned. He gave us an excellent suggestion. We didn't make reservations, but got on the wait list. The menu is not big, which means that every dish is made expertly. We had the Korean fried chicken, japchae and short ribs. The flavoring on all three dishes was excellent! The meat on the ribs was so tender. I highly recommend this restaurant! The only suggestion I would make is to the customer, make reservations!
