Made an appointment with JEM to take a look at my dishwasher and they were a no show. So I tried calling them throughout the day but no reply. They simply just no-showed. No call, no reschedule, nothing.
I was referred JEM by another appliance person who was too busy so he gave me their number. I should have looked at the yelp reviews first, because I would have seen the horrible reviews that could have anticipated my experience.

Jem repair come to fix my washer machine even though wrong diagnostic+ wrong part + install they will charge $407 you won't get a refund for the wrong diagnostics & washer machine still NOT working.
If you let them will charge you second diagnostic $407 or more.

1/13/2024 bought freezer Frigidaire Model # FFFU16F2VV from Home Depot. The next day I noticed major frost build up, I fiddled with the temperature gauge to see if that was causing it. Frigidaire said the warranty is only 48 hours and they'll send a technician to fix. They've been sending these technicians. We are on the 6th visit from them to have the unit fixed. Freezer is now covered in mold because the door never closed properly and too much moisture got in. They keep insisting they can fix it. Unbelievable!

Unprofessional, slow, fishy.
They came to fix the same problem 3 times on warranty. Issue was the same, repair didn't last a week long. Third time, same guy, same issue: suddenly realized that there is a different part needs to be changed. Genius. They said we need to wait for the parts 5-10 business days. Can not be more satisfied with technician, Jose and David's service today for my Bosch Benchmark series dishwasher. As a housewife, I cannot live one day without a dishwasher. Them two came to rescue with the most professional and experienced service.

Made an appointment to come out a fix a problem on a rangetop. Technician came, said it needed a new part, and they'd contact me within a week to schedule the actual repair. Charged a $95 diagnostic fee. Two months later I can't get them to even return my phone calls let alone come back to fix the rangetop. I've given up after 5+ calls where they promised to call me back and nothing. Total waste of two months and $95. I'd avoid them - there are plenty of other options in the East Bay.

The absolute worst. We had them come on a refrigerator warranty repair, he came in, looked for 5 seconds and said "temperature sensor" then asked to use my bathroom and left. Then it took him over a week to submit the work order to the warranty company. Keep in mind that our refrigerator doesn't work. Then they cancel multiple times over the course of 2.5 months, one time because "he can't come till next week because his car broke down" so now it's been over 3 months, and he came last week and "fixed" it, but it still doesn't work right and they said they won't come back because it's fixed. So to them fixed means that it's OK if you have the refrigerator set at 35 and the temperature ranges from 39 to 55 and everything rots. They're rude, they are unreliable, they don't do what they claim. They say they'll call back and don't, they don't show up on time, it's a four hour window, and you can't make that??? The absolute worst..
