This place is above and beyond, absolute attention to detail, service, I feel spoiled. We had soup dumplings and jellyfish, everything was top notch in taste and we had such a nice time!!

Food was good though it was a bit on the sweet side. Nice and fast service.
Price is affordable comparing to other restaurants in that area.

We are from California, spent time and money to come here to dine-in, only to discover they no longer offer the option to dine-in. Only take-out was available. The location is now take-out and delivery (presumably from the link on yelp)

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR YELP DESCRIPTION so other tourists don't waste time when looking for a dine-in option! Thanks!

The Peking duck here is fantastic! Service is good as well and it's a nice sit down place with lots of drink options. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for authentic Chinese, with good spicy options.

Call before you go. We're from out of town visiting and took a car service to the restaurant. It wasn't until we arrived that we were told the location is take out only. There was no indication on the yelp page or other way of knowing.

Before I went, I reviewed Yelp! ratings and it appeared decent. I ordered beef stew with daikon which is not on the menu for almost $30, per recommendation by the front desk lady. They only have takeout. However, when I opened the small rectangular box, to my surprise, it was watery AND half full. Seriously half full. After finishing up, I was still hungry. The same lady had also told me that there would be pretty food. No, liar! I will Never go to this place again.

Don't waste your hard earned money in this restaurant!

Food very good, service great. Really quick service. Different space for a Chinese restaurant- used to be a Pub prior from COVID!

Food is pretty good. Nothing special in terms of ambiance, seems to be under construction.

The reason why I will never return is because the security guard at the entrance is extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm not sure what his problem is but he had a BIG ATTITUDE when I was trying to pick up my food.

You know how they say that a picture says a thousand words? Well, the photos they use to advertise Jiangnan tell the OPPOSITE picture. The food actually looks nothing like the photos. The food tastes exactly the opposite of what the delicious looking misleading photos suggest. The place looks more like the free continental breakfast area of a cheap holiday inn rather than any kind of descent eatery.

We randomly chose Jiangnan while down near Wall Street at an event. It seemed like a good choice, despite some of the warnings on Yelp, which in hindsight we should have taken more seriously.

First of all, it's a little hard to find, as its on the second floor above another restaurant. When we arrived, there was only one other table there, at 6 p.m. on a Thursday in the financial district. (Ding. Ding. Ding.) That should have caused us to go running to another place.

Service was okay, but the waitress really didn't seem to understand things we asked like, "can I have a glass of ice?" "Can we add mushrooms to that dish please?"

The atmosphere looks like the area of a cheap holiday inn where they serve the free continental breakfast, which apparently this place does. Wish they'd told us that it was part of the neighboring Holiday Inn. We tried to ask our waitress, since her name tag looked like a cheap hotel's tag, but she didn't know what we were asking.

The food was kinda blah. Tasteless and just mediocre to yuck.

In the end, it was a waste of $70 and a place we will never ever go to again.

Seriously, don't pass go, don't collect bonus points on some app, just pass it by and go anywhere else. There are a least a dozen restaurants on this block. Any of them, including the deli around the corner, are better than this.
