Super delicious korean spot. Been here twice and both times did not disappoint. The soy garlic fried chicken was amazing. The bulgogi bibimbap was also so delicious and usually I am not a bibimbap fan! I'd say that the fried chicken and bibimbap are quite large portions and can be shared. The soy garlic jjim was also pretty good, but the portion size for that is not shareable for 2 people.

Service was attentive and quick, not much of a wait. Restaurant vibes are casual and relaxing, great spot to go to with friends.

As an unofficial ramen connoisseur- I've had my fair share of ramen throughout the city. I have my personal favorites which I won't put into this post because that's not fair to Jijime. The ambiance of the place is cute and laid back and filled up after we walked in. Service was good too.

I ordered the Gyoza ramen which was just ok. The gyoza itself was flavorless (Trader Joe's gyoza would have been better). I will say the broth is great and the ramen noodles were good. Boyfriend ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with Chicken and had the same thoughts. Ramen/Broth good...chicken flavorless!

      Probably won't come back.

      1 check-in

My group of 4 was looking for some comfort food after coming back from the Presidio, and I remember wanting to check the restaurant out after seeing the signage outside. The interior is a mix of modern and cozy.

Our bibimbap had the vegetables of a Japanese-American dish and pretty tasty bulgogi, despite being a fusion type of Bibimbap. Our tofu stew tofu looked almost a little cooked -- as the silken tofu was broken up to almost an applesauce consistency; flavor wise it missing some depth but that was probably on us for ordering mild.

The small bites were solid! I recommend both trying the Okonomiyaki fries and fried chicken, which we got in soy garlic. There's also a modest selection of drinks other drink menu.

Overall, the food is good but probably better for sharing over some drinks rather than as comfort food. Would be back to try some more of the small bites!

Jijime is a fine Asian Fusion snack-ish food and bar. They have some standard Korean faire alongside Japanese inspired Okonomiyaki fries and gyoza and ramen. So that being said, if you're looking for Korean spices or punchy flavors like we were, Jijime offers more milder versions of said dishes and stews and plates.
Service was great though and the ladies assisting our table were super nice and accommodating, as we asked for extra this and that and refills. Very cute and quaint vibes with lots of drink options and tapa-like foods. I feel this is a great spot to shoot the bull w/ friends...

I don't really understand the popularity of this place. We waited maybe ~30 minutes for a table for Saturday dinner.

The food was just...not good? I get that it's "Asian fusion" but everything tasted super Americanized. I honestly couldn't name one dish that my group enjoyed. The service was also a bit rude (but I think the staff seemed overwhelmed by how busy it was).

Great hot plates! My party of five showed up around 8:40 and they close at 9pm and they were really gracious to seat us since there weren't many restaurants open around. They had also just seated another party of 3 before us who were ordering late. We ended up getting a couple appetizers along with one sizzling plate per person and it was really good! I wish they had some banchan at the front to eat with the sizzling plates, but still great food!

Pork Belly Sizzling Plate (5/5): This sizzling plate was delicious, it came out on a cast iron plate and was smoking right off the bat. It also came with a salad and a bowl of rice and was the perfect amount. I wish there would have been some more veggies in it (besides the onion), but the meat was really soft and the sauce on top was delicious.
Corn Cheese (5/5): Honestly such gooey cheese and corn ratio, it came out on a cast iron plate so it was nice and warm
Okonomiyaki Fries (4.5/5): The sauce distribution was a bit tough for the bottom fries, but the toppings and flavor were really nice and the fries had a good crunch.

I would definitely come again to try their ramen as they had a lot of options on the menu.

Came here for the first time, easy to find, parking was rough though because the place is near a residential area and an open road. The interior was very cozy and nice. It's reminiscent of a lot of ramen places with the dim lighting.

I got the ramen with chicken on the side, I also ordered a plate of soy garlic chicken and only realized after the fact that I should've just gotten a regular ramen without chicken. The ramen dish was a 7.5/10. Ramen itself was good and the soup but the chicken was sort of over cooked and didn't add much flavor to the dish. The soy garlic chicken was a 9/10, very crunchy and delicious. The pieces were big and they gave a good amount.

This was one of the best Korean stew pots I've ever had. There was the perfect level of spiciness. But the highlight of the dish was the generous amount of kimchi and bean sprouts and various veggies in every bite. Admittedly, there was not a lot of pork in my dish but the pork was high quality--it melts in your mouth.

Service was very attentive and our food came out quickly.

Highly recommend the Okonomiyaki fries as that was so uniquely delicious. Their Sizzling bibimbap was fantastic as well with pork belly. Also comes with house made bibimbap sauce

This is definitely our go to spot for curing a hangover...something about the casual environment, solid beer menu and excellent. Asian (fusion like cuisine) hits the spot every time! The food is officially Korean but has a very Japanese, sezhuan, and other Asian future profile. The popcorn potstickers are pretty amazing, the bibimbap is just excellent in all protein forms(I add crunchy tofu) and the rest of their "tapas" menu is just great. The interior is clean and cute. Parking is a nightmare but it's S.F. The service is friendly. A great go to spot...
