Joe's Clock & Watch

This watch repair shop is the best! Joe is very good at what he does and I have had a great experience getting my watch batteries replaced and fixed. I have a cool story about how awesome Joe is.
A month or so before, I brought in an old G-shock in to have the batteries replaced. I have had it for over 12 years and the backlight had already gone out, was just hoping to get the battery replaced so I could continue to use it as my beater work watch. Joe takes a looks at it, says that it is broken. I was kind of bummed out, but figured that I got my value for the watch. I told him that I didn't need it since it was broken and to not bother putting it back together. I come back a month or so later to get a different watch's battery replaced. He recognizes me and says, "Your the guy that brought a G-shock awhile ago! I ended up being able to fix it after fiddling around with it..I was hoping that some day you would be back, since I didn't have your number!".
I was so happy about his honesty and his attempt to fix the original watch, I will always come back to Joe for all of my watch needs. Not only did he fix it, the backlight for the G-Shock works now! It works better than before and is practically brand new. And all he did was charge me for the battery. Awesome guy, great shop, THANKS JOE!! If you need a place to get your watched or clocks serviced come here. He's quick, you can drop in and get it done without worrying about parking in some random busy mall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!

These are great people...over the last 18-24 months mom has had several unfortunate accidents with her Black Forest cuckoo clock. While most of them have been the result of "user error", all problems were resolved in a timely manner and for a reasonable cost. Nice selection of clocks for sale in their showroom area as well.

Update.. Clock is running great. Joe did a great job at getting this old guy up and running again.. would highly recommend.

This is a great little Clock and Watch shop conveniently located across from the Brendon theater. I bring my collection here for Joe to adjust the bands instead of heading to one of the "mall" shops. He does quality work, great service and value. I definitely recommend supporting this small business!

I searched all of over Walnut Creek and Concord for a shop to service my TAG watch (replace battery and remove links from the band). Most of my calls were met with disinterest which really put me off. Joe was really friendly and sounded interested in my needs I dropped by his shop just at closing time last Saturday. His wife opened up for us (a pleasant surprise for me) and brought us in. Wow, she was terrific. Joe came out and looked at my watch. He obviously knows what he is doing. He changed the battery, removed 2 links (I just lost 40 pounds) and charged me less than Amy other shop in this area. Here's the great part. As we left, Joe's wife thanked me for coming in and for supporting their business . That made my week. Their shop is charming and full of clicks and other related goodies. I can absolutely give them my highest recommendation. I will go back every time I need their services. You should too.

Very rare to find any businesses these days that not only provide top quality workmanship, but also integrity, honesty, and great service, Joe's Clock & Watches checks all those boxes. He's a top craftsman in his field, stands behind his work and his prices are more than fair and reasonable. He also does house calls on 'grandfather' clocks (within a reasonable radius from shop I'm sure). I highly recommend him for any and all clock/watch repairs, it'll be worth your 'time'.

What started as fulfilling simple repairs of two watches I own became a pleasant history lesson & a gratifying appreciation for unrecognized talents.
This business is in a location that was previously a record store and pictures on the wall recognize celebrities visiting the store to sign autographs. I won't mention the names of the celebrities as that would spoil the surprise when you visit.
Also, both owners (husband & wife) were there during my visit. From them I indirectly learned of changes in their profession and how fewer people are learning the skills needed to do their work. The lesson for me was how things change but how particular skills while timeless can simply disappear before society realizes what has been lost.

Perfectionism is exactly what you want in a clock repair shop. Plus honesty, reliability and humility. Inside the humble-looking shop on Salvio Street, Joe and his wife run a dedicated small business with pride and friendliness.
Joe saved my unique oversized museum gift shop wall clock when other repair services had been unable to. I am so grateful.

I needed a battery for my watch. Went to Joes and got one and It was inexpensive. Great to see mom and pop business doing it right. I recommend them for you clock and watch issues.

Worse service. The guy who works there disrespectful and was yelling at consumers. Worse place to get any repairs done. I took my watch somewhere else and they fixed it right away. But the guy who works here yells and tells me i broke the watch already and to go somewhere else. I wish i can give this place a ZERO!!!
