JP Auto Body Shop

I worked with Ray from JP Auto Body Shop for my Tesla Model 3. I hit the curb and my rear passenger rocker panel broke. I searched through various body shops throughout the Bay Area. I decided to go with JP Auto Body Shop because:
1) Ray was very knowledgeable with the Tesla & he was patient (he answered all my questions)
2) We communicated through email, phone, and text messages throughout the whole entire process. This was a PLUS for me since it's usually difficult to reach me or talk on the phone in the lab.
3) I had a difficult time handling with my own insurance, Ray was able to solve my problems by helping me upload the pictures on the insurance portal. This process without Ray took me over 8 weeks alone. Thankfully, Ray stepped in and got the ball rolling!
4) Ray offered me different options that were available for my Model 3. He was honest and open with the estimate and what it will cost me.
5) Drop off and pick up was really easy. The process was clear.

PS: This is one of the Tesla's approved body shops.

Overall, I am very satisfied and happy that I went with JP Auto Body Shop. Their work was great! When I picked up my car, I didn't even recognize my own car if it wasn't for the license plate! lol It looked like I just got it from the dealer.

Had my car serviced here after a fender bender. Worked with Aaron who was amazing.

- Aaron was very responsive to my calls and questions. Pretty much expect him to get back to you within an hour or two if he doesn't pick up right away.

- Process was very simple and hassle free--I thought it would be a huge pain, but Aaron took care of me and the paperwork within 30 mins of bringing the car in, as well as communications with my insurance. After dropping off my car I only had to pick up my car and sign two weeks later.

- Very transparent with what all of the steps were. I knew what they were planning on doing, and how much I was going to pay leaving the shop. When something came up, Aaron updated me right away.

Great service, and would definitely recommend the shop!

I want to Thank Aaron for assisting me through out the whole process. He was very kind and informative. Broke everything down for me and made it easy to understand the process. I am very happy with the outcome. Looks brand new and I appreciate the cleaning and wax that was done. Once again thank you Aaron and JP for the great work your shop has done .

Over the years, I've gone to JP Auto several times. Every time, it's a great experience. They go out of their way to communicate, they handle all of the back and forth with the insurance company, and I never feel bamboozled. Enterprise rentals do a pickup/drop off there from their San Bruno location not far away. Aaron is accommodating and responsive - thanks, Aaron!

Best of all, they do a good job at what they are experts in - fixing damage. My car always comes out looking so good and they even clean it before returning it. Sometimes, I wonder if integrity is a lost value, until I reach out to JP Auto and my faith in humanity is restored.

They are my #1 go-to, even if I wish I never needed to see them. :)

JP auto did an excelling job repairing our Tesla. Bryan was great with communicating with the at fault insurance, we didn't pay anything out of pocket.

As they were inspecting the car, they found additional damage that needed additional parts and more time to repair

We had a road trip coming up and were worried we'd miss our reservations. Bryan was able to source parts from a different shop and got our car done ahead of schedule.

Car looks good as new. They even vacuumed, washed, and patched a tire.

I can't recommend this shop highly enough! Despite living an hour and a half away, I've chosen to use their services twice now, and each time has been worth the drive. They did a fantastic job fixing my rear-ended car, ensuring it looked and functioned like new.

The staff here are incredibly kind and professional. What really stood out to me was how they went to bat for me with the insurance company, making sure that no corners were cut on the authorized repairs. It's rare to find a business that genuinely cares about their customers, but I felt that the staff here really does. 10/10 would recommend.

My car got hit when I was stopped at a stop sign and my bumper was damaged. When the other driver's insurance company asked me to find a shop to do the repairs at, I saw that several of my friends had rated JP highly. I decided to go with them to replace my bumper.

They were responsive and nice during the repair process. They sent me pics of the new bumper that came in and were generally good at answering my questions about my car. They made sure that there were no additional damage caused by the accident. When I got my car back, they had washed it and cleaned the inside of the car. I was super appreciative of this.

Overall, I would definitely come back to them if I ever needed repairs. They were very kind and responsive. Don't hesitate to trust your car with them.

They did an awesome job with a full rear bumper replacement on my Tesla M3P.

Right off the bat I was pleased that unlike most body shops in the area, they were great about following up by email and phone even during the initial estimate, and seemed to care about customer experience. I was also given the option to have more convenient service in South San Francisco that could take longer due to them being quite busy, or faster service if I was okay to take my vehicle to their Redwood City location.

I opted for the South San Francisco option since the shop was also walking distance from San Bruno BART, making it so I didn't need to rent a vehicle while mine was being repaired. The replacement was super smooth and the price was exactly what they'd quoted upfront. They also got it done faster than the estimated time given over the phone and when I dropped off the car. They handed the car back to me fully cleaned up and detailed.

And lastly, shout-out to Ray for the estimate and scheduling, and Bryan for managing the drop-off, pickup, and repair process. They were both great! This place has definitely earned their 5-star reviews.

Working with JP Auto Body was very smooth. It was my first time getting repairs for my car and I was surprised by how easy the process was - I requested my insurance to work directly with the shop so they handled all the estimates and payments. Added bonus was that my car was significantly cleaner inside and out after!
