Great quality and service! We've been coming here for years and they are consistently fast and produce great work. We've had alterations for suits, dresses, jackets, pants, and much more. We've also had pieces dry cleaned and it was perfect. Would highly recommend. Great value and quality :)

I found JP Cleaners while browsing on Yelp for a cleaner/tailor and messaged them for a quote. I got a response back pretty quickly and decided to come in because they are so responsive and helpful with all my questions.

The cleaner is located in a small plaza with lots of parking. Upon arrival, I was met by Ann, who helped me with my alterations. She is amazing! I brought in a dress that needed a few alterations plus same day pick-up, and she delivered! I dropped off my dress yesterday morning, went to brunch, ran some errands, and my dress was ready for pick-up before the store closed at 4pm.

I also dropped off my wedding dress, along with other dresses/skirts and can't wait to pick those up. Also, Ann did not try to upsell me and was honest when she thought the alterations would cost more than the dress, which I appreciated. Will be coming back again and again!

Honestly, they were kind enough to take in a coat that needed to be hemmed last minute for next day pick up as I was traveling overseas but I would be more appreciative if they rejected it and said they were unable to do it because my expensive coat is now ruined. The hemming and stitching is so weird. Please look at the photos - cut too short, it is uneven , does not match, and a $400 dollar coat ruined on top of a $80 dollar fee.

I loved the way the seamstress hemmed up my pants! She is great at detail and the stitching came out better than I expected!

First time at JP Cleaners, at the recommendation of a friend.

Location: off Almaden, in a small plaza with an ACE Hardware and taco place next door. There was plenty of parking in the plaza.

Services:
- I needed 2 pairs of scrubs tailored because they were too long for me, and also wanted the calves tapered a little.
- A dress that was too large around the waist for me
- Jeans that needed to be dry cleaned because there was a stain

My total came to about $50, which is actually much cheaper than what I paid elsewhere (in Fremont) for getting 2 pairs of jeans and 2 skirts tailored (I'd paid over $150...).

Ann was so sweet and easy to work with, and did not try to sell me on any services that I did not need. She worked efficiently and was able to pinpoint/suggest where I should hem the pants and taper the legs. My clothes were done within 2 days, and the pants fit perfectly. It didn't even look like they had had work done on them, they looked perfect. I was 10/10 satisfied with what I paid for.

Ann is super nifty with her hands and I can see why my friend recommended her. Will definitely be back next time I need clothes tailored and cleaned.

I came to JP with 5 pairs of jeans, a pair of pants and a dress. I was looking for somewhere closer. My regular place seems far these days and all alterations are a ton of money - $17 a hem now on average.

The woman there hemmed one leg and I explained that I've had trouble in the past and would like if she could pin both legs. She let me know it didn't matter that it would be fine. I explained that I am either anatomically incorrect or lean funny but would appreciate if she measured both. She did a half eye-roll but did so.

Then as I came out with the next pair she was measuring the inseams of my pants to explain to me and even demonstrate that I was wrong and that it didn't matter. I couldn't believe it was this important to show me that I was an idiot over a pair of jeans and one safety pin but explained that my experience was different and I do appreciate.....

Before I had finished the sentence she had pulled the curtain closed on my face with a snap.
UM, BYE!
Ended up taking the pants to my local dry cleaner walking distance from my house and they all look great. The woman had no problem looking at both legs, no matter how ridiculous she might have thought the request was. I took the dress back to my expensive alterations on Bascom and that looks good too.
Good lord. Customer service anyone? Or maybe just manners....

#context - I've been coming here for a few years now and have never had any issues.

#like - the service is good and honest. Clothing is ready for pickup in a few days. I let them decide whether an item is just laundering or if it needs more heavy duty dry cleaning and they've always been reasonable. The prices are affordable, and friends/family who try this place out have always been happy with the cost especially when comparing with their previous dry cleaners.
#dislike - the price has been slowly increasing over time so that's why I have value at 4.5 out of 5, because I know how amazing the pricing used to be.

#tip - there is a minimum to used credit cards without a fee so be prepared with cash if you don't have much clothing.

Anh was very friendly and provided excellent service. I need some alterations done and they were done within the same day. Super happy with the outcome. Highly recommended. Will return again.

DONT GO HERE!!!

I dropped off my suits and dress shirt for cleaning after our wedding. The dress shirt and vest had stains from a flower lei. When I brought the items to the store, the i showed the lady the stains and asked if she could clean it. She said yes and proceeded to throw all my stuff in the laundry basket and charged me. I paid and left.

My wife picked up the items a week later and they didn't say anything regarding the clothes. When I checked my suits and shirts, I noticed the stains were still there with a notice saying the stains couldn't be removed. The stains are clearly still there on the shirt and vest. So I called back and James picked up.

James said they tried to clean it and it couldn't come off so they didn't charge me for stain cleaning. But they already charged me for the cleaning fee upon drop off? And then he stated to me that they didn't charge me an ADDITIONAL fee for stains. But when I dropped off the items the lady didn't mention anything regarding a no guarantee that the stains would come out. She clearly said yes she could clean the stains and that was if. But now all of a sudden they don't guarantee it. So I asked James what it was that I paid for? To have them throw it in the laundry like I could have done? And he said he can try to clean it again but "no guarantee".

Don't waste your time and money. Service is horrible. They chose not to even tell my wife about the stains. They left it to to be a unpleasant surprise for me. Wasted money and time on my end

Ann is super nice and friendly. They are very reasonable on what they charge for dry cleaning. My wife's dress and blouses came out perfectly cleaned and pressed. This is now my GO TO dry cleaner.
