Food on point. You cannot get the best Korean food but from JP Seoul Tofu House.

4th of July after lounging at home. Decided on JP because they have cold noodle soup.

Got there after 5:14 pm and dead quiet. I ordered the Bul Gogi special with cold noodle soup, brother ordered the spicy version of my soup and older brother ordered bibimbop on stone bowl. All the food including the banchans on point!

      Server was quick and painless

Ambiance is nice but it was cool inside the restaurant after being outdoors since 7 am.

      Will be back again

My go to spot for lunch!!
I love coming this mom& pop shop and the owners are always so kind and generous! They offer a wide variety of dishes such as kimchi stew (my fave), rice cake soup(also my fave), galbi which comes out already cooked on a bed of onions on a hot plate. My bf loves to get their spicy pork. From previous places I've been, I wasn't fond of it as it can be overly spicy and dry. However, once I've had it here, it changed my opinion. The spicy pork also served on a hot plate on a bed of onions is juicy, yes indeed still spicy but bareable & you can taste some smokiness to it as well!

Their banchan selection is also great, i esp love their potato salad here. At times I'll just come by to order their potato salad. That's how good it is :)

I love coming during my lunch hr as the service is quick, food is good and they put on kdramas in the background.

I think the tofu soup is yummy but kind of average -- good but not amazing. But our favorite thing here is the Pork & Squid Stir Fry.

The meat is super tender & has a nice smokiness to it. The veggies, especially the cabbage, soaks up the sauce so well. It's like a spicy pork but more smoky & oily which we love.

      Delicious :)

Here's a breakdown of what we tried:
Seafood Pa Jun: This Korean-style large pancake filled with seafood was a definite highlight. It was generously sized and bursting with flavor. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Spicy Pork: The spicy pork, marinated in a special sauce, had a good kick to it. However, it veered a tad towards the salty side for my taste. Nonetheless, the flavors were still enjoyable, complementing the meal well.

Beef & Seafood Soft Tofu Stew: While this dish didn't necessarily stand out among the others, it was a solid addition to the meal. The tofu stew was well-prepared and satisfying, though it lacked that extra wow factor.

I came here with my daughter and her fiancé. We have been here before and I couldn't remember what we had ordered last time. This time we got the seafood pancake and stew with Fishcake but no other meats. The stew was enormous, but not fantastic. Kind of dukbokki with dumplings and Ramen noodles added in. We had quite a lot of food left over.

If we come here again, I think we would order, the hemul pajeon (seafood pancake), dukbokki, and maybe a fish dish? We are not big eaters so if we ordered those three dishes, probably my husband could come too, and we would all have enough to eat.

The panchan here is plentiful and good. Next time I will eat more of the green vegetables since the food in general was lacking of green vegetables and you can always ask for an extra panchan if you run out of broccoli for example.

Ambience is very basic, but that's fine with me. Service was good.

My SEOUL-otion to destressing is eating :)

      .:: FOOD ::.

Beef Soft Tofu Stew $17.99: wish the flavor was more bold. it was a bit more bland than expected. But the tofu was very smooth. Good amount of beef pieces in there.

Seafood Kimchi Fried Rice $20.99: Also a bit bland, and the rice a bit more on the mushy side. Came with a sunny side egg. Not much seafood to it.

      .:: Service / Ambiance / Parking ::.
The place was a bit chaotic. We came on a Sunday around 2:30pm. And it was STILL bustling. We got seated immediately, however, the waitress took over 15 min to come take our order. Our banchan did not come until WAY later when our food came which was another 15-20 min. There were about 3 waitresses and there were only about 12 tables.

The place is very simple, not much decor, the menu was posted along the entire wall above the cashier area with pictures.

Parking was fairly easy as it was located in a big plaza.

ALWAYS very nice no matter which server you get. From their hello to goodbye, it is always consistent. Me and my bf have been coming here for a while now and we've introduced a few friends to the establishment as well, because we love how genuine they are. The server knows how much my bf loves their Banchan and gives him extra of his favorites. I personally love their spicy rice cakes dish. It's just the right amount of spicy and sweet. It seems like they have been in this business for a long time and it shows: the tables always get turned over, and cleaned quickly, they keep professional and friendly personalities no matter what, and the food is worth multiple trips back.

Tl;dr: definitely check this place out if you're reading this!

We (party of 2) arrived in the afternoon around 2pm after the lunch rush so we were seated immediately.

      What we got:
Ban chan 5/5: a great variety of items! They definitely boosted my appetite for the main course.
Gal bi combo with tofu stew 4/5: Great items! The tofu stew was steaming hot and flavorful. Some of the gal bi was a little chewy for my taste, but the flavors and overall texture were great!
Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbop 5/5: probably some of the best Dolsot Bibimbop I've ever had. It arrived sizzling. The portion was also very generous; there were tons of veggies! The veggie to rice ratio was perfect.

The restaurant interior was clean and welcoming. They also can accommodate large groups. The service was quick and attentive. The prices are pretty typical for a restaurant in the Bay, around $20 for a dish. Overall, we left very full and satisfied. The restaurant is located in a shopping center so there was plenty of parking.

we came here on a saturday for lunch, where the restaurant was busy but not too packed.

looking through the menu, we ordered a seafood pancake, tofu soup, and the stir-fried pork

The seafood pancake was $20 for the enormous serving size with plenty of seafood. I rather enjoyed this one

For the tofu soup, I would say it is not bad. The flavor was pretty good, but I would say it was not the best korean tofu soup I have had

For the stir-fried pork, the sauce was pretty great and the portion size was quite large as well.

The one gripe I have is that outside of the lunch menu, the dishes are quite pricey. For three people, we spent around $35 per person.

The food was tasty, but the staff weren't super friendly or attentive. I also personally felt the prices were a bit high for the portion sizes. Overall still a good experience.
