Juan and his crew removed 3 trees for us on August 26th. They did an excellent job. They had a medium sized chipper which effectively chipped the branches of our 2 eastern red cedars and a balsum fir. Also a small tracked branch and log grabber machine and 2 trailers for removal of the tree chips, branches and logs.
They worked fast, took care around the shrubs and other nearby trees as we had discussed prior to them starting the work. They raked up debris, cut some pieces for firewood for me, used a blower to spread out the saw dust from sawing and chipping.

I truly appreciated working with JR Landscaping. Juan was very responsible and friendly and didn't do a step without consulting with me. They did quite a lot of cleanup in my backyard. I hadn't been in the backyard in more than six months so things were looking so brown and wild and the prior landscape pebbles needed another layer.
Backyard looks completely different and I will go with JR Landscaping on my next project.

We hired Juan to do our backyard. It was just all dirt.
I found him on Yelp and he was very responsive. He came out and we discussed the layout and picked our turf. He came back a week later. The job was 5 days long and we ended up with an amazing backyard!

Juan and his team were amazing. They did a fantastic job, good quality, fast, great communication, and reasonably priced. We hit a few surprises like with our downspouts and drainage and he helped diagnose the problem and fix it! Juan was so responsive and excellent at communicating. He managed to transform our backyard (nearly 1k sq ft of space) in 4 days and did our front yard and drainage in 1-2days. I would highly highly recommend him to everyone.

Our front yard had become overgrown with weeds and the atmospheric river and hail earlier in the year killed a bunch of succulents so we needed some cleanup. The folks from JR Landscaping did a pretty good job! It was $400 and it only took the two of them 45 minutes so while that seems steep, at least my wife and I didn't have to do it so we were grateful to get it done.

The thing that pushes this rating from 4 stars (cost & a couple weed roots left that I'll take care of, no biggie) is that Juan was incredibly responsive and super on top of things. Out of all the folks I reached out to, he was the only one to actually show up to give an estimate. If they were running late, they texted or called. He responded to every text in a timely manner. 10 stars for keeping us in the loop and being a great person to work with.

During one of the most recent storms, one of our 35' trees split and fell into our yard. I obtained 3 bids and was surprised at the cost disparity between the 3 companies. Juan Ramos, of JR Landscaping, was reasonable in comparison and actually helped us stay within our budget. He and his team were here on time, worked diligently throughout the day and all were very polite and friendly. As with most construction jobs, we ran into a couple of minor "hiccups" but Juan was very good about communicating and working with us to give us what we wanted. We're extremely happy with their work and are having them back to repair our deck. I recommend them highly!

The need for a tree removal and yard cleanup was long overdue so with the help of Yelp I was able to find JR who is local to my area. A phone consultation was scheduled and the initial plan was removal of some trees and the clean up of a neglected yard.

Everything was discussed in terms of length of time for completion, time they would start and end each day and more importantly the cost, which was within reason and negotiable. JR was very respectable of my time and hectic schedule and his communication was constant along with the attention to detail.

The initial plan followed with a gutter clean up which I tacked on to get completed and we worked out a deal on after he assessed the space. FINALLY, after all the maintenance and after careful though the decision was made to do a low maintenance landscape for the now cleaned up space (a blank slate!) Once again, JR discussed the details, materials, work, cost and asked what I envisioned. Honestly, all I wanted was a space I can still walk out to and finally enjoy. The timeline for completion of this project took a week. JR and his crew were all courteous, considerate, friendly and promptly on time to work. Communication remained key and when I had concerns JR would immediately respond both by phone call and text.

Juan with JR Landscaping took my absolute disaster of a yard back to a nice well maintained yard with the most level hedges I've ever seen. His pricing was fair and his crew worked very hard. JR Landscaping came in and got my job done ahead of schedule. They carefully removed a tree, bamboo, a retaining wall, and an old shed (All within really tight corridors since I have a pool in the same area). After that, they rebuilt a new retaining wall and had a nice, concrete pad poured.

Juan's crew is extremely hard working and very respectful. They maintained great communication throughout the entire project and I'll definitely use them again for any future landscaping projects.
