Junk King Alameda

Junk King of Alameda is Awesome!!! My dad used to be in construction, so he kept a lot of raw materials, but since he retired; its just been sitting around the house. My parents are much older and Junk King of Alameda was super patient, worked with them, and allowed my parents to be hands off. I would highly recommend them.!! Thank you Junk King of Alameda.

Josh and Simone were great. We had a queen size bed and mattress which was already a challenge when we moved in but they were able to get it out without any problem. They also moved out the old living room sofa, hall table and old record cabinet. They were fast and professional on a very hot day.
The price quoted was more than fair and well worth it. Definitely a good value on top of a good job.

I understand that we were over weight, and that's in the terms and conditions, that said, the price we were quoted and the price we were given were vastly different. As soon as they picked up they called and yelled, YELLED, at my wife for being overweight, and not reading the terms and conditions. I read them. I decided it was worth the extra to get rid of the extra stuff, just charge us extra, don't yell at my wife. So unprofessional.

We paid no problem, but I will never do business with this company again, and I suggest that anyone reading this do the same

Message to Owner: Happened in Livermore area.

On 08/28/2024, at around 3pm, on the Altamont Pass Rd, heading to the Altamont Landfill. One of your Driver driving your company truck with license plate #57404L3 was driving like a maniac.

He first tailgated me while I was following the speed limit on the twisty 2 lanes road. Then he went over the double solid yellow lines to pass me on the left and continued with tailgating another car that was originally in front of me before turning into the Landfill to drop off the fully loaded truck.

He could have killed someone. Do you want some one working for you driving your company vehicle and have that liability on your shoulder?

At least I know I will not use your service or would recommend anyone else after this incident.

Hey. I want to give a big shout out to Josh and Sam. They really came thru for us on 6/17. Due to whatever happened with our scheduled time slot (things happen), these 2 alternate guys made it happen this day because we were reaching PNR. AND despite their already heavy load, they did it. This returning customer, despite the JK schedule, was very happy Team JoshSam got the job done. Shay and I appreciate you both.

Picked up a television. Got a discount. Great. They gave me a two hour pick up window and kept to that two hours. No problems with pickup. Will use again if I have anything heavy to move.

I had a couple companies come out for a free estimate. I preferred the way the people at Junk King worked with me. The prices were comparable but the kindness and attentiveness was a big factor for me. They showed up on time and busted their butts to get the junk taken away. I also prefer to support smaller businesses, especially nowadays. I will use them again for the next haul away job after our next phase is complete.
