Kaady Car Wash

This is the nicest, fifteen dollarest car wash in the East Bay. My review needs at least 85 characters.

Went through many automated car washes. Never had one bang up my license plate so this was a bummer.

Okay, this was my fault and I did not look up the daily weather report. My folk's car was super dirty so while they were at church, I ran over to the Kaady Car Wash for a $15.00 Ultimate car wash. Fast and efficient, and the cashier gave me two dashboard wipes so I was on top of the world.

Half an hour later, it was raining.
I felt like such a sucker.
But like I said, it's my fault.....

I think it's a great idea for those in between major washes. Very pleasant caddy's. No complaint.

Outstanding. Excellent results exceeding expectations. Did it remove every single speck of dirt? No. If you want that, go get your car detailed. However, for only $10 or $15, this is by far the best short drive through car wash I have ever been to. Helpful, friendly staff at pay station, entry, and exit of car wash. Will be patronizing this business monthly. An excellent find. Thank you.

I've been a regular visitor to Kaady Car Washes since it's the only car wash I've found in the Albany area. They offer two options: The Advanced for $10 and the Premium for $15. The Advanced wash is sufficient if you're washing your car once a month. It gets the job done quickly and efficiently.

I usually visit after work on weekdays, and it's not too crowded during those hours, so I'm in and out in no time. I haven't used their automated payment machine entrance, but it appears that many people encounter issues with it.

*As a tip, I would recommend going to the cashier window to avoid any potential hassles.

I went to Kaady Car Wash on the recommendation of a good friend. He was very please with the quickness and cleaning of his cars. So I figured what the hell, let's try it.
I drove up to the one of two lanes. One is for cash or credit, and the other, the one I was in, was for credit only. As I approached, there was a nice man that walked towards my Black, 21 Toyota Highlander. He asked if I was paying by credit card? I told him this was my first visit here and I was paying by card. He then directed me to the machine where you select the wash you want, $10 for the Advanced or $15 for the Ultimate. I opted for the $15 Ultimate wash. The man showed me step by step how to work the machine to get your car wash, which was nice and actually easy to use. But never being there before was very nice of him. He then directed me to drive around to the back and get in line behind the other vehicles waiting. I did and the line was going very quickly actually. I was impressed.
The truck went through the car was and was cleaner than it was when it went in, so a good start. I had an appointment I had to get to so didn't really look at the vehicle. I got to my appointment, finish my business there, and walked back to my truck. When I actually looked at the truck I could see there was still LOTS of dirt on the hood. I looked at the sides, and back and roof, and saw even more dirt left behind. I was not as impressed as I was before.
I returned to Kaady Car Wash, and saw the same nice guy in the credit drive up lane. I told him I was just here and had my truck washed but was not very pleased with it. He looked at my hood and said, "That doesn't look very clean". Couldn't argue with his assessment.
I then asked if I could get a rewash of my truck. He told me I would have to talk to the person in the cash/credit window. He walked over to the guy in the cash/credit window and presumably told him of my concern.
I got to the window where I told the man that I was just here and was not satisfied with the wash I had gotten. He looked at the hood where I had pointed out. The guy at the window said, "I will rewash it one time only. After that you will have to take it somewhere else or get a hand wash". Really? That is how you treat new potential customers? Telling them to take their vehicle somewhere else if it doesn't get clean on the 'rewash'? Wow, just wow.
Well, I went through the 2nd time, and I have no way of knowing if I got another Ultimate or Advanced wash, but was more concerned about the dirt coming off the truck.
I went through and after exiting the car wash, pulled out onto the street, went across the street to inspect my 'clean' truck. What a major disappointment it was.
So I will take the guy in the window's advice and go somewhere else as he suggested.
The guy at the window was not very customer friendly. The rest of the staff I interacted with was nice and professional. The others that were doing their job, appeared to be professional and conscientious of their duties. The window guy could take some lessons from them.
So again, since the window guy didn't seem to care about if my truck got clean at his facility or not, I am taking his advice and definitely going somewhere else. Thank you window guy for your requirement.

I have been there numerous times on my way home ( Concord) from work ( Berkeley) and it's the first time I was dissatisfied with the PREMIER wash. I did not notice until I got home in commute traffic. I went back the following day and told the cashier, whose response was "IT HAS TO BE THE SAME DAY."
Should I have driven 25+ miles in commute traffic for a re-wash?

Great place to get a quick automatic car wash and at a great price of either $10 or $15 depending on what you want to cover! The $15 wash really got my under carriage clean. A definite repeat place!

Cheap, fast and great service. The people working there are so respectful, so professional, so caring. You feel like you are in an expensive place but your carwash costs only $10.
