      Good place to get bbq propane tank refilled. They charge less than $2 per gallon. Fast and friendly people there.

      I have been with Kamps for some years.
      since they were bought by Superior, I dont know what the hell happened.
      My Tank was filled April 4, 2024.
      I waited for the invoice in the mail to pay, as usual, and over time I forgot about it, as I never received it..
      on July 19, 2024, I got a Message on my answering machine to call Kamps, I was baffled and wondered why.
      the call was to let me know, Im 60 days overdue.
      I was sent an email to pay, which I never received.
      the email account is an unsecured account and is only use for Newsletters and such, and can be easily hacked.
      I was never notified by Kamps/Superior they will be using emails for billing,
      as I always received them by mail.
      I received the Bill on July 25, 2024, 7 days after talking to the Nice Lady, and I noticed it was mailed on July 23, 2024..
      I received the bill in the mail for the Amount due, and there is another bill of $3.21 that has no description for what the amount is.
      whats interesting the Bill for what was delivered in April has a due date of July 4, 2024, and the invoice date of June 4, 2024..
      the undisclosed bill for $3.21 has a due date of August 8, 2024 and an invoice date of July 9, 2024..

      whatever is going on, needs to be fixed quick or someone will find another Company

      I called to find out the price per gallon of propane. They lady says she doesn't know the price because she's only receiving their over flow phone calls. I still decided stopped here to try out a new place that refills propane tank. I showed up and there were 7-10 people in line for propane. By the time I reach the front of the line. It's 12:45pm. The guy shuts down and goes to lunch and will be back by 2pm. He said I can leave my tank and come back to pick it up after 2pm. I decided not to wait an hour and 15mins. Went around the corner to chevron and got it filled for the same price $3.79/gallon and no lines. I was on my way home with full tanks by 1pm.
      Also this place was not accepting cash and only debit/ credit card.

      These people have been amazing... particularly Mona in the office that serves zip code 95333. Very friendly... they stepped in when another propane company left us without gas in a cold holiday weekend.

      We could pay by mail, but we call to pay over the phone so we can touch base with Mona... a fantastic example of the family orientation of this company.

      Leave those other guys... come over to where they truly strive to serve you... you won't regret it.

      when I first moved to an area where I had to use propane I called around and Kamps propane was recommended and I have never had a problem but the last 3 months I have called and called and never get a call back I call daily run a whole house generator when we loose power which happens a lot, I have informed Kamps in my many phone messages and emails but still nothing
      sad Kamps went from great to not so great

      Service is the WORST‼ your always a minimum of 2 weeks out in delivery...prices too high‼ and if you go on their regulator system, we have had a $500 fill up in May when you heading into summer. Desirer is the worst customer service, never returns phone calls or scheduling. Now since we switched to Ferrall Gas, I cannot get Kemps to pick up their 250 gal tank and 2 100 cylinder tanks... I have phoned and left message)no return call), left message with there switch board person, have phoned twice and was told I was second on scheduling..,,we'll todays call I was told they only do scheduling on Friday's for the next week. Ever since the Kemps family sold ...it is the WORST‼ never recommend ‼
      We have switched to Ferrall Gas and we have a AG discount , they delivered within a week and needed additional cylinder tanks for range and they were delivered and set up the next day. I received a gage check and they were out the next day..,,service top notch‼ you actually get a live person to speak to. All my neighbors are on Ferrall Gas

      The girls in the office do their best. Tye is the customer service nightmare. He will sit there on the phone, letting customers and staff hear him deal with an angry customer while he lets customers stand in the lobby waiting for propane to be filled. Unfortunately we had listen to him flubber around on the phone for over half hour before I decided to leave following other customers(Who had waited much longer)out the door. He says he's been doing this for 30 years yet in the same breath makes excuses about how hard it is to manage everything and take care of payroll and he doesn't have enough time to do his job. Sounds like this location could benefit from a new manager to me and I won't be returning while Tye is there

      My propane bill is twice what it used to. I don't use any heating in my home but electric heaters to save money. I don't use a propane stove. Literally the only propane I use is for hot showers once a day. And on top of that if you're a little late with your bill they rush to turn off your propane faster than any other propane provider and then charge you again to get it turned back on. One time I owed 12$ and all together it cost 80$. Care a little more about your customers please, once I was just a day late with a bill. I shouldn't have to worry so much about this but they don't make it any easier.

      They opened at 8 supposedly, got there 8:20, and they made me wait until almost 9 until somebody came out to help. (Mind you I'm on company time and have customers waiting for me). When the guy finally rings me up he says cash or card, oh I mean the card machine is down you'll have to go to the 7-11 or the gas station.
      I left to ampm and came back with cash and the guy ahead of me was going through the same exact thing. I told them, you need to put a sign up so people aren't waiting. They guy says oh we had one up a couple weeks ago but nobody paid attention to it. I told him that besides the point. There's people who do and people who don't. That would've saved me a lot of time.
      Customer service here sucks!!

      My time and everyone who waits on me's time is valuable. Think this place needs to get it together.
