Kate is an amazing real estate agent. She makes the selling process look so easy. She is very organized, professional, ethical and genuine. She first visited us at our house and she was very positive about everything. Then she gave us a great presentation of her work and what is included/not included in their fees. With Kate there are no unknowns or surprises. We liked her so much and we wanted to work with her right away. She made us feel very comfortable at every stage of this process.

Kate has an amazing team. As soon as we decided to work with Kate her team started their magic right away. Amy is equally amazing. Amy arranged days of looking at our house and getting bids for things that needs to be done. Suggested improvements to the house that we need to review arrived in a very clear spreadsheet. We reviewed the recommendations of improvements with Amy and Kate. They were both very professional about it and reminded us that we should not feel obliged. Most of their recommendations were very reasonable. We trusted Kate's instinct and keen eyes.

After we moved out Kate's team did everything. We only moved out of the house and cleared everything that belonged us. Then we went on vacation. Of course we received a timeline of events in a spreadsheet. When the improvements will take place such as staging, taking photos and open house dates. If we had any questions or concerns Amy always got back to us very quickly. Amy even helped us beyond her scope of work because we were out of state often.

Our beautiful house looked even more stunning when the house was ready to go on the market. The photos looked marvelous. Kate's team conducted two open houses and we accepted a great offer above our expectations.

Kate is a real estate scientist. She has really developed empirical techniques to sell your house. It works!!! I was dreading this process but everything was taken take care of so smoothly. I am so impressed with her and her team. If you want to work with the best choose Kate!

We thought selling a house would be easy in 2021, especially in a hot market like the Bay Area. Boy, were we wrong. There's a lot more to it. Luckily, Kate and her team know every one of these details inside and out and they flawlessly coordinated everything from start to finish.
We just sold our Alameda home that we bought with Kate as our buying agent in 2011. Back then, Kate had a couple of people on her team but now she runs a powerhouse of people who excel in their area of expertise. We now live out-of-state and we were able to conduct the entire process remotely thanks to the organization and high-level of communication from her team.

Linda was our project manager and seamlessly orchestrated the various vendors that were enlisted to prep the house in a short 3 week period. Kate's team fully coordinated contractor bids in a matter of days during a period of time when getting contractors in a timely manner is extremely difficult. Kate clearly has a great reputation with the contractors that she works with to get things done so quickly. We were given the options of what upgrades we could choose to make with different levels of options. They coached us on what improvements make the biggest impact for sale. Throughout the process, Linda sent us bids and updated us with pricing and options for the upgrades they recommended we make.

Julia, the listing agent, then made the 2 week period that the house was on the market easy by keeping us informed of the activity and interest in the house and we had an idea of how many offers would be submitted come offer day. Kate managed the negotiations and she and Julia presented us with a spreadsheet comparing offers with the critical components so we didn't get bogged down by other details in the offers that were submitted. They presented the very competitive offers, we said that we had a higher number in mind and Kate was able to get an offer to match our desired number.

Although the Alameda market is hot and it seems as though houses sell themselves, the process could have been derailed at any moment were we not working with such seasoned professionals. Working with Kate as an agent is more than working with Kate as a person. Her team of professionals included: a project manager, staging, marketing, photography, listing agents and negotiation expertise. The coordination of these groups was never anything we needed to think about.

They market homes at significantly lower prices than expected price to draw in attention.

Sold our house in July.
We "hired" Kate but she never came to meet us or speak on the phone, only through email and all communication was generic.
Her team & project manager, Nathley, get 4 stars. She kept the project moving and finished on time.
The sales agent, Courtney, only gets 2 stars. Here's why: she was not personable & we were just another commission sale. Not once did she asked us what we wanted and especially how much we wanted to sell the house for. During offer period, she made us feel that we were like amateurs after we told her we should hold out for a higher counteroffer. She said, that'll never happen given the market, contradicting herself after telling us it's a very good sellers market.
At the end, we sold for what we wanted and MORE than what the "experts" thought we should accept.
Lastly, if you have them do the renovation, PLEASE BEWARE OF WHO THEY HIRE, very very expensive lesson.

Once agreed upon what work was to be done, their project manager kicked into gear and created schedules, arranged vendor quotes and oversaw the execution of the individual contractors. They have an extensive network of high quality craftsman who are equally cost effective. All I had to do was occasionally answer a few questions as issues popped up and the rest was fully managed... completely indispensable given we moved out of state!

In the end, all the effort and advice they provided was spot on. Their deep market knowledge helped us identify the right timing, strategy, and preparation work.... as we sold our home for well above asking and exceeding our very high expectations. This is one of the best companies I have ever interacted with and experienced... the combination of professionalism, performance and service is astounding. They are a truly remarkable team!
