It's hard to describe how good of an experience it was to work with Kevin and Jonathan--they've completely changed our opinion of how great real estate can be.

We were nervous first-time home buyers, and had seen a condo we liked that was just listed, but didn't know any realtors. We cold emailed Kevin and Jonathan on Thursday night, had a video call later that night, read through the disclosures and worked out an offer plan that weekend, and by Monday morning our offer had been accepted. The speed they work at is insane! And yet at no point did we feel rushed into any decisions, because they are so thoughtful about laying out exactly what to watch out for, and what the upcoming steps will be.

Not only that, but once we had the place they gave us a huge amount of information on doing renovations, and a big list of local contractors they recommend for each specific type of job. Kevin even drove us to his favorite lighting showroom, and introduced us to wood floor refinishers who were able to start that week.

We're incredibly happy we found Kevin and Jonathan, and will be recommending them to all of our friends. Anyone looking to buy or sell in San Francisco would be lucky to work with them!

Kevin and Jonathan (+Raffi their pup) helped us sell our condo during a really tough market. We interviewed several agents and picked them because of their optimistic can-do attitude, eye for design, responsiveness, and fun personality, which really showed up in the video they created for our listing and the open houses. They did a great job in making our unit stand out through design changes they recommended (and they were really involved in the nitty gritty, ordering amazon packages for home design tweaks directly to their home. That's dedication!). They also made the not-so-glamorous parts of home selling easy, like putting together disclosures, etc. Overall, I'm glad we went with them as first time sellers!

Where do I even begin. Kevin & Johnathan are some of the best realtors in San Francisco! Kevin did an absolutely fantastic job on helping us buying our home. There are so many things that stand out about their process. First, if you're a new buyer they have an arsenal of documentation and guides that help you understand the process, the local neighborhoods, what to look for and more. As well as a wealth of knowledge accumulated over years and years in this industry. Secondly, Kevin & Johnathan are so well regarded, every time we visited an Open House and mentioned their names, we received positive reactions from agents - who knew of their work, a great perk in such a competitive environment like San Francisco, where it helps to be represented by such well-networked realtors. Thirdly, Kevin's background is quite unique he's skilled in a number of areas, not least home renovation, property law, property selling and buying amongst a number of other things - Kevin is so on the ball with documentation that needs signing, explaining what everything means and making sure you're in the absolute best position as a buyer and a seller (depending on who they represent). Lastly and probably my most favorite is how much they care and are so passionate about this space, you can tell immediately the difference between realtors who are just trying to get you to buy any home and K&J - who genuinely invest in your needs and your lives and want you to just be happy. As well as this they are incredibly home renovators and their passion for this comes through in leaps and bounds, they'll be able to tell you the exact estimation for any work that needs doing, so you're not caught out buying a home that's actually $100-200k over asking for you to even move in. They also know everyone in the city when it comes to businesses and contractors to get the right materials you will need once you buy a place.

I miss working with Kevin! I would buy another house just to hang out with him more. He's the best!

Kevin and Jonathan helped us find (and close!) on our dream house!

As first time home buyers, my fiancé and I were nervous but eager to get into the housing market in our favorite SF neighborhood. We talked to a number of buyers' agents, however Kevin and Jonathan really stood out. Not only did they answer all our questions with their wealth of online information, but also taught us what to look for (and what to watch out for) in person as we toured homes with them. Their quick, informative, and constant communication made it easy for us to act quickly on homes we liked.

Once we found *the home* they helped us craft an amazing pre-emptive offer that landed us the house. After we were under contract, Kevin and Jonathan handled all the little details, allowing us to close in under 2 weeks!

We ended up with a great home, a great rate, and a great experience, all thanks to Kevin and Jonathan. With all the people we interacted with in the home-buying process, Kevin and Jonathan are our top recommendation.

TLDR: Kevin and Jonathan WILL get you the house of your dreams! FULL STOP! Just stop right now and call them and get the ball going. They will not waste your time as they are ruthless machines on your behalf in getting what you want. They are also very funny, entertaining, sharp, engaging, and reassuring, which you need in this maddening market.

My actual review requires 3 different posts onto Yelp but Yelp will not let me! No space! Therefore, I am cutting down my original review to squeeze in the best parts here (but know that this is only scratching the surface of how great they are).

THE DEAL: We were in a pool of 13 offers on a house and we were not even the highest offer! Somehow, Kevin worked his magic, connected well with the other side, and was able to get us into a contract on the house the SAME DAY offers were due. We put in our offer at 3PM and we found out at 11PM that the house was ours! Unheard of! I joke to them that they must have lucky dragon's blood coursing through their veins. They really kind of do though! We thought for sure we were goners with a pool of 13 offers and that we would lose in a bidding war but NOPE. Thanks to Kevin and Jonathan, we beat out 12 other offers and did not even have to partake in an insane bidding war. It is with shock, awe, and gratitude that we were able to close on our home with Kevin and Jonathan! It was also our second offer within a span of about a month. I am pretty sure we nabbed a house in San Francisco approximately one month after I sent my first email to these guys. That is how fast they move! They are super efficient, on the mark, and totally with it. We feel SO LUCKY that we did not have to torture ourselves through countless offers and rejections and bidding wars like several of our friends have had to endure in San Francisco. Buying a home in San Francisco is no joke. One reason why I avoided looking for a home in the city in the first place is because I am not patient, I hate the games people play in real estate, I hate constant uncertainty, and I am allergic to bull and ulterior motives. If you share any of these qualities with me, then just stop here and contact Kevin and Jonathan. They are not interested in wasting anyone's time or stringing anyone along. They genuinely WANT you to get the house of your dream as QUICKLY as possible and SUPPORT you in moving on with your lives. Kevin and Jonathan take great joy, excitement, and satisfaction in seeing their clients live out their best lives at home sweet home. Making their clients happy in their forever home is at the heart of what they do and the reason why they stay up late into the wee hours battling on your behalf, with much charm and firm professionalism, of course, with listing agents, escrow officers, loan officers, and more.

There are many capable realtors in SF. But when we think about the other realtors that we worked with and could not get in deep with, and then we think about Kevin and Jonathan, they are just light years apart. Kevin and Jonathan keep it real for you, encourage you to be brutally honest with them, and catch you when $#*% hits the fan. I dropped other realtors because of their tendency to leave a few (or a lot) of my burning questions unanswered, which is a serious pet peeve of mine. Personally, if you're going to drop the equivalent of your liver and kidneys onto a house, an insane amount of money for the most expensive purchase of your life, you want every single question ANSWERED and no stone unturned. When I first reached out to Kevin and Jonathan with all my burning questions, it was like a HUGE FRESH BREATH OF AIR to get their response back! EVERY SINGLE QUESTION answered! And not just by a little. BY A LOT! They have a 360 view into all things related to properties, fixer uppers, market trends, ROI, historical trends, 3R limitations, etc etc etc. I learned SO MUCH from them in their first email back to me than I did in all the emails I exchanged with other realtors. Kevin and Jonathan stand FAR APART and BEYOND the rest. They are like stream-of-consciousness crystal-clear here-is-EVERYTHING-and-I-mean-EVERYTHING that you need to know or could hope to know or could want to know about the house, the neighborhood, the remodel, the legality, the zoning, the pitfalls, the rewards, the tradeoffs, etc etc. They don't hide anything from you and they share screenshots or authentic source materials to show you, for real, what the deal is, what game is played, and what your options are. I absolutely trust them to do right by their clients and to be as transparent as they possibly can to the nth degree. That's why they are so loved by their client base. Certainly by me!

I hope I never have to buy a house again. But if I ever need to get back into real estate waters, you can bet that I am going to beeline straight to Kevin and Jonathan. They will not steer you wrong. Best of luck on your house hunting, house buying, and house selling journey!

We recently worked with Kevin and Jonathan on the sale of our house in SOMA. We had been reading their newsletters and they were so insightful and helpful, we knew this was the real estate team for us.

From the very start, Kevin spent time at our home, talked with us about the whole process and gave great design advice. We had fun, creative conversations all along the way. He respected our budget but with his help, our house was totally transformed! The media he produced to showcase our home was above and beyond our expectations.

A few weeks ago, casually looking around at open houses, we saw a note. It said something to the effect of: if you have an agent, we can talk. If you don't... So! Even though we thought we thought we were still in early stages of feeling out the market, we did not want to chance having to find an agent if we suddenly found something perfect. Enter: Kevin+Jonathan. So great from the very start! They taught us so much in such a short period of time, and when were ready to pursue a house, they were amazing. We thought, is it too early for us to try? But they helped us feel confident that we had a chance and shepherded us through the process of making an offer. Kevin reviewed our home of choice and helped us understand what might need work, he annotated documents to help us understand what we were reading and to point out things he didn't want us to miss, and he knew exactly how to handle the offer to give us a great position in a counter offer situation. We are happily making plans for our new home! The experience was excellent and we heartily recommend Kevin+Jonathan.

What can we say about Kevin and Jonathan? They are exactly the team you want working for you when home buying!

We asked our friend who she used, and she introduced us to Kevin and Jonathan via email later that evening. That same evening, Kevin jumped on a Zoom call with us. Right off the bat, we hit it off! He was spewing out ideas and concepts that were in-line with exactly what we were looking for.

By the next morning, our inbox was full with introductions to other resources and amazing PDFs that they put together to make the home buying process efficient and educational. These PDFs are helpful for the first-time buyer as well as the veteran buyers. We were given access to their Real Scout which is where we were able to see all the listings in the Bay Area, and even set our parameters so we could get notified by email every time a listing within our criteria was put on the market.

We also had a group text that was formed with Kevin, Jonathan, myself and my wife. They said we could text any time about listings, ideas, etc. The first thing they sent us in that group chat was a listing that was yet to hit the market. These guys have the inside scoop!

From there, any time we would text them a listing address, they would have all the disclosure docs and relevant material into a shared Dropbox within a day at the most with proposed dates for showings. Being in the Covid-19 era, we had to sign off that we would comply with all regulations, and we had to wear masks. Kevin was the one who met with us at the listings, and he was always wearing his PPE! Sometimes he even had his amazing pup Raffi with him!

He devoted so much time to us. In fact, we were at a listing for over 2 hours one day (we didn't even put in an offer on this listing), just talking about what could be done here or there, or in this room or that room. He is brilliant. Full of experience and amazing ideas!

Then, the home of our dreams was auto-sent to our inbox because it fell within our criteria that we set on Real Scout.

Kevin made it very clear that this home was drawing a lot of interest and would likely take a very competitive offer to get the deal done. Him and Jonathan felt that we should poise ourselves by making an offer before the offer submission date. They put together an amazing offer packet that contained a letter from us, along with their own write up about us, photos of us, the whole works. If I were a seller, and I got what they sent over, I would be so impressed.

They fully anticipated the offer would be rejected, but their plan was to make a lasting impression. They were right. And when offer day came, the listing agent called them at the close of the offer period asking if we were still planning on making an offer (it was also Kevin and Jonathan's idea to submit the offer at the very last second as well). We were notified 5 hours later that the sellers accepted our offer! There were 4 other offers, all over asking, and if we had come in a dollar less than our offer, we would have been one of multiple counter offers sent.

It was so exciting! Our first home, and we actually got the one we wanted! All because of Kevin and Jonathan! They were very clear about what we needed to do to have our offer accepted, and we listened.

From there, the experience was seamless. We barely had to lift a finger, except when it came time to give our fingerprints to the notary when signing the closing docs a mere 3 weeks later! They even wrote an incredible article about us in their newsletter. It had me in tears!

And of course, once we closed, we got another PDF from Kevin and Jonathan that contained all the info you need to know about moving into a home! They even provided us with an encyclopedia of contacts from basic maintenance to general contractors.

Kevin met us at the home on closing day, and he came prepared to conduct our closing day photo shoot. It was so exciting!

Bottom line, if you want to get into the home of your dreams, use Kevin and Jonathan!

Kevin and Jonathan are amazing, they quite obviously love what they do, and eat/sleep/breathe San Francisco real estate. We were able to get our first offer accepted with their guidance and help, and found an amazing place in Noe thanks to them. I was honestly surprised how thoughtful and willing to make lots of time for us they were, this went far beyond what I expected from real estate agents. We will definitely work with them again in the future if we get the chance.
