Great food! Good ambiance. Only minor complaint is green curry was not very spicy. Really generous portions!

What a great gem located in Cambrian!

I loved the esthetics inside of the restaurant and how you can watch the cooks prepare your food. Very clean inside.

Service was great! Friendly and attentive.

We ordered pad see ew with beef and chicken pumpkin curry w rice. Both were delicious and flavorful as well as colorful.

We ended with the mango sticky rice and it was so delicious! The mango was soft and juicy and the rice was sweet. Loved how unique the presentation was and how the rice was a pretty blue!

I'm so glad we found this unique little gem. We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend you try this restaurant!

The food was decent. We got take out so a dining in experience may be better. The person on the phone taking the orders was kind and professional.

Chicken pad Thai: the chicken was tasty and flavor was decent but the noodles looked kinda stringy and yellow. Pad Thai is usually better than this at other restaurants. I feel like I'm used to getting a bigger serving at other restaurants and have left overs but we were able to finish this dish in one sitting

Tom yum: mild was moderately spicy for me but I like spicy so that was fine. The taste was pretty good, didn't get too many tofu pieces though. There was a lot of lemon grass cuts into the soup which made the flavor better but hard to chew on but that was ok

I think i would go back to dine in to give it another chance and check out other dishes

We have our go-to Thai spot in the area, but in an effort to try new places, we found ourselves at Khaosan Thai. We also found that sometimes Thai food does not take out too well so we wanted to dine in.

Khaosan Thai is located in a small complex along a couple other shops, including a bakery and a grocery store. Parking was not a problem. The restaurant itself is not too big, but they do have a long table for a bigger party as well as outdoor seating. The decor was simple and clean.

We wanted to try so many things but settled on the Khao Soi which is not as commonly offered at other Thai restaurants, as well as the Pad Kee Mao. Really enjoyed the texture of the Khao Soi and the Pad Kee Mao was pretty good. Service was prompt and food came out quickly.

Definitely excited to come back and try their other dishes.

      SERVICE
      - located in a small shopping complex
      - parking available in lot or on nearby streets
      - indoor and outdoor seating; we chose outdoors since it was hard to hear conversations indoors
      - servers come quickly to take order and give food
      - ambiance good for casual meal

      MENU
      - typical Thai selection of appetizers, soups, entrees, etc
      - average price ($17 per entree)

      FOOD
      - pad kee mao with tofu (8/10): spicy wide rice noodles sautéed with mixed vegetables and tofu. They gave the spicy oil on the side rather than mix it into the noodles. I had gotten these noodles as takeout a while ago but was not a huge fan then because they clumped together. When eaten fresh, the dish is enjoyable. There is a good ratio of noodles to vegetables to tofu. I felt like the tofu was too fried and could have been softer. Since I had to add chili oil to make it spicy, the dish at the end became slightly oily.

WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe. It is a good option for standard Thai food with no frills.

The restaurant is in a strip mall next to a grocery store and a bakery. The place is small but they do have outdoor seating. The place seems pretty clean and they have a glass wall so you can watch them prepare your food.

The service is efficient and friendly. They came back at least four times to refill the water jug.

The food is good but not amazing. The green curry was flavorful but the chicken was borderline chewy. The pad se ew noodles were well prepared but the Chinese broccoli was sour and the beef was a bit dry. Everything came out fast and very hot.

Overall they're one of the better Thai places in South Bay but i think there are opportunities to improve.

My group of 4 came here for a later lunch around 1:45pm and got seated right away. This is located in a plaza with parking so it was super accessible. The restaurant itself is pretty cute and well decorated, and the staff were relatively friendly and helpful.

We ended up ordering som-tum salad, hang lay curry, pad kee mao, kor moo yang (pork neck) and it was a good amount of food for 4. We got 3 sticky rices with our entrees, and those all went really well with the dishes we ordered. My personal favorite was the hang lay curry and pad kee mao, although the pad kee mao was definitely spicier than I expected. The som-tum was authentic but also much spicier than I had expected. The only thing I wouldn't order again was the pork neck, only because of how fatty it was, although it still tasted good.

Overall a solid Thai restaurant with acceptable pricing. Would be back again to try other dishes!

Been to this Thai restaurant few times already. I am still very impress with the Tom yum noodle and other appetizers. The only thing I don't like is the pad Thai. It have some much sugar. It's so sweet. Which you don't taste like this in Thailand.

Here is my scoring card for this restaurant:

      1) Location: ( 5 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and back side with parking lot parking.

      2) Decoration : (2 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean.

      3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve

      4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are below average . ( must be inflation ) and certain dishes are to sweet.

      5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of Thailand food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in Thailand. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need

Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Go foodies

Always have to grab Thai food when back in the Bay Area. Khaosan was great! I had the medium spicy red curry with tofu. Tried my friends shrimp pad thai which was also delicious. Other friends had the green curry and they liked it. Everything was flavorful and delicious! Spot is in a small shopping center which got busy. Parking and maneuvering around can get difficult but good and service were top notch. My suggestion is to go early before it gets too busy.
