This is an amazing, authentic Chinese restaurant!

I've been a regular customer for years and I have always had a great experience here. The owner is so kind and cheerful. I always see her smiling. The staff are also helpful and friendly.

They serve a wide variety of dishes, like soups, stir fries, rices, and noodles. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are amazing.

The grandma fried rice is one of my faves! The rice is soft and stir-fired with smoky ham, bok choy, and egg. It has such a comforting taste and is so delicious! I also order the minced beef soup, hot & sour soup, beef fried rice, salt & pepper shrimp, kung-pao chicken, and potstickers.

I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for authentic Chinese food in the area!

Best Chinese food in Bay area!! They use fresh ingredients so I always feel healty after eating their food. My favorite dish is now Asparagus with fish which has very good flavor! They open till late and customer service is always wonderful, especially the owner Susan remembers her customers really well and that makes me as if I came back to home. Their portion is also great!

Great deals here lot of great vegetable dishes too. The staff is great. I love the vibe here . The music is pretty cool. The smells are excellent

King Chuan Restaurant really hit the spot for us!

Staff members and Aunt Susan were all very nice and Aunt Susan took the time to describe some of the dishes we had questions about and the staff were proactive in checking in to make sure our meal was going well. We also got bowls of hot and sour soup plus the marinated cucumbers on the house which was a very nice way to start out the meal.

Our main dish was the steamed sole fish fillets with ginger and coriander and green onion and it was really really good! The flavors are very authentic and exactly what I remember and expected from eating during family meals and also Chinese restaurants. Paired with white rice, the flavored soy sauce with the garnishes is soooo delectable!

We also got a dish of tofu and vegetables for the extra health points and I always appreciate there being many veggie dishes available at Chinese restaurants.

I would highly recommend King Chuan if you are looking for very home style authentic Chinese food in the area! The restaurant itself is also cozy and reminiscent of the many Chinese restaurants I have gone to with family and friends.

Tangerine chicken takeout. I couldn't find any photos of this online so I took a shot and ordered it. It was very good, tangier than your typical orange chicken dish. Not too much sauce if you're into that. White meat and tender

Absolutely disgusting food. Not even edible. Mongolian chicken was rubbery, walnut shrimp was equally gross. Only thing decent were the walnuts. And no fortune cookies!

$18 fried rice that is actually steamed rice with a few specs of ingredients. Didn't taste bad but very little flavor and definitely wasn't fried rice.
Way overpriced

Looks kind of unassuming on the outside, but step in and try some delicious food. It's a bit pricey at $20+ for nearly every dish, but everything we ordered was really good. My favorite was the sesame crispy beef and beef chow fun! The meat was nice and tender, and well-seasoned. The honey walnut prawns were also really good and the portions were alright, could have been a bit more for the price imo. The service was pretty good and staff were nice. There's pretty much no ambiance in here tho, the restaurant was silent and so it felt kind of awkward. Some music might be nice.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. I ordered 'Grandma's Fried Rice' for takeout and was not impressed. The decor inside was outdated. Given how many other Chinese food restaurants there are, I would not go back.

This is a review for my subjective taste. The spices are very mild. I had the eggplant and it was a bit bland. Same thing with the chicken corn soup. It was lacking that umami that I'm used to

That being said, the staff are really nice and very attentive. Flavor wise I just need a little bit more flavor.
