I needed a car mechanic to have a look at the car before I start my long-range road trip and thanks to Yelpers I found the best auto repair shop in Brooklyn.
Chris is the best. As a first-time car owner, I couldn't be happier with the efficiency of their service.
I'll definitely be back if the car needs anything.

Shady business practices
Will take your money for parts and just bang out your old parts. Unless you know a lot about cars and can argue with their mechanic, I would go elsewhere.

Chris is a gentleman and a gem of a human being. He repaired the brakes on my mother's car and charged a very fair and affordable price to do so. On top of that, he had it all done on the same day within a few hours. He did a high quality job and he is a very fair and honest mechanic.

I've used this place about five times now and will never use another repair shop! The guy who runs this place is a genuinely good guy who is honest about what needs to be done for your car and fair at pricing. We took the car once to pep boys for an oil change (not realizing L&B does them for cheaper at the time) and pep boys found an oil leak and axle issue and wanted to charge us $1700 for replacing the oil pan, gasket, fixing an axle and another thing I forget. Instead we got it fixed here the exact same repairs for $950 and now use L&B for oil changes and inspections too! Once we dropped the car off to be fixed while we were on vacation and he even moved the car for us on alternate side parking day to avoid us getting a ticket. A total gem of a human being!

Echoing all of the other reviews, Chris and L&B are amazing. Fair prices, great communication, and quick turnaround for brake work. Would absolutely recommend (and already have) to anyone.

In the city it's important to find the right place to have work done on your vehicle. I found out the hard way, a lot of people will rip you off. However "L & B Auto" doesn't seem to be one of them. I found this location on Yelp. It had good reviews so I figured why not. Plus it helped they were open at eight AM. When I pulled up, I couldn't believe how many cars were there. So many people trust this, do it all shop, for service. I mean, they do, body work, inspections, oil changes, and more. How's that for one stop shopping! I was greeted by the owner. He explained that the wait would be two to three hours. I was a few thousand miles over my oil change so I had to wait. I found a shaded area and got to work on my phone. But to my surprise, he walked over. He was able to squeeze me in and serviced my work vehicle. He also, took credit, which made things so much easier. To add to my service experience, I looked over the price. He actually charged me a great price for oil and wiper blades. It was the best I've seen in Brooklyn so far. Trust me, I've take a lot of our vehicles in for service. I told him, I would be back. I plan to make sure all our sedans and sprinter vans go here. To bad they don't do large trucks.

LMB auto repair has been my go to repair shop for more than two years now. Chris and his team always seem to get the job done is always offering fair prices and remembers your name. In the Customer Service world not many people are like that this time we brought our car to have motor mounts replaced brakes and rotors replaced And the job was done excellent and the car drives much bette. I never feel taken advantage of when bringing my car to L & B

the BEST repair shop in NY period. needed a service maintenance, a belt change, & some gunk that was thrown at my car removed & they had it all done in a day. i went to this other auto repair shop & the guy said i needed to replace the belt & the alternator of my car then quoted me $1800. i got a 2nd opinion with L&B & i'm SOO blessed that i did. they did my a2 service & told me i just needed the belt changed which saved me A LOT of money! plus i got 2 car washes to try to remove this sticky drink that was thrown on my car & those washes did nothing. he special ordered this gunk remover & went to work & got all of it removed. honest & hard working people. they slayed so hard omg . i will b referring ALL my friends to them & will ONLY b going to them for any future repairs / services . thank you so much Chris ! you the bomb dot com

Chris and L & B Auto Repair are the best.....in 50 years of going to Auto Dealerships for repairs I have never experienced a professional and honest repair shop such as L and B
