First off the interior of the place is 5/5, clean, modern and has a cool vibe. I booked Leo on a Saturday which made parking a bit difficult so I suggest going on a weekday if you're planning to get your hair cut and styled!

So I'm postpartum hair lost at 8months, I've been cutting my hair almost every other month trying to find the best look. I'd like to say about 60% of my hair fell out. I curl it to get that full look! So during the consultation I mentioned how I didn't want bleach on my scalp and showed a picture of the color I wanted. Leo understood my needs and gave me clear explaination that doing a balayage was my best option.

No pain, no smell, and omg the color and dimension in colors- 10/10. Crying not crying ! thank you so much for giving this new mom hair life! Total confidence booster and feeling more like myself!

I booked a last minute appointment and it went well! I came in and was attended to right away. I got a haircut and wash. Everything I asked for the cut, I got. 10/10!

Lam is amazing. I've been going to him for the past 2 years and he will be my forever hairstylist.

I've jumped from hair stylists throughout the years, but with Lam I'm here to stay. He just gets it right every time and he is very sweet with his service.

So we already know Lam's haircuts are amazing and also reasonably priced! What about his other services...

& just FYI my hair is thin, dry, damaged, and super flat/no volume. My hair has been like this my whole life. No prior bleaching, just color. Every time I curled my hair the curls will only hold for 2-3 hours.

I wanted to change up my look for the new year and decided to finally go for the digital perm. I was hesitant because I've never had a treatment done to my hair before.

But after a couple hours in the chair, I left a very happy girl. I felt like a Korean movie star with my new waves.

It's been 3 days post-perm and my hair still looks amazing.

The vibe was aesthetic and calming. My stylist, Leo was also very friendly and provided great suggestions for how to cut my hair and frame my face after I showed him some sample pictures. Would definitely be coming back for my haircuts from now on!

I've tried out multiple salons and always try to stay with one until something goes wrong haha I stumbled upon L2 and loved the aesthetic of the salon, so went inside and inquired about getting my hair done. Their staff is super nice and gave me just enough info I needed, but because I "wasn't ready" to change my hair yet, I waited a couple months.

Then saw one of my friends and saw what an awesome dye job she got and asked her who did her hair, she said L1 by Leo, so immediately I knew I needed to contact Leo and get my hair done by him. I called the salon, spoke with Leo, scheduled an appointment and bam - I came back!

I showed Leo the style I wanted from 小红书 and he gave me his input, but not once did he tell me it wasn't possible, so he got everything ready and started working his magic. They're so sweet at L2, they knew my dye job would be around 5-6 hours so they gave me water, snacks and asked if I needed to order food.

Once I was done, I felt like a whole new me! The price wasn't horrible, and what I mean by that is - Leo told me even before he started what the price would be and also gave me a trim so my hair had more texture with the balayage look, and I appreciated him for that.

Came here for a haircut. Total without tip is $90. The haircut is nice but if I'm paying $90 for a haircut I expect some kind of elevated service during my haircut, like a short head massage while washing my hair or some hair product/protectant applied to my hair when blow drying/styling but I didn't get any of that.

For $90, I got a no frill service. I got my hair washed, the stylist cut it, and gave me a blow out because I didn't want to curl my hair. I didn't even get to see the back of my hair when he finished.

The blow out was nice but the whole time I was thinking about all the heat applied to my hair without any hair protectant. Before the stylist gave me a blowout, he asked if I want my hair curled and I said no because I didn't want to add more heat to my hair so he decided to give me a blowout instead, which still applied a lot of heat to my hair. It would've been nice if he heard my concern and applied some protectant on my hair seeing this is a $90 hair cut and not some quick cut for a few bucks.

This review is long overdue! I was here six months ago and with the right maintenance and products, I'm still getting compliments on my hair to this day! There's no brassiness and it's still a cool tone silver.

Coming from OC/LA and moving to the Bay, I've been to so many salons especially in SJ but this one is the best so far and best ever!

When I would get my hair done in SJ or Westminster, the lavender-silverish balayage would turn brassy after a month. The last one I went to in SJ I went to said the cool tone was impossible to do and left me with a 2010 warm beach ombre which totally wasn't my vibe and didn't match my skin tone. It was cheap but now I understand the investment of spending on quality.

Leo proved them wrong and was incredibly patient and stayed with me to get my hair down to EXACTLY what I wanted til 10pm. I'm so grateful but of course I felt bad because I thought my already bleached hair wouldn't need to take as long as virgin hair. I was wrong but lesson learned to come very early next time. Leo was still calm and even made me some ramen.

I'm definitely going back here and the search for the best salon in the bay is over.

TIP: If you're going to get bleached, even with already bleached hair, please come in the morning!

I had the most incredible experience with Alex the hairdresser! From the moment I stepped into the salon, Alex's warm and friendly demeanor put me at ease, and their expertise and creativity shined through as they transformed my hair into a flawless and beautifully layered cut. I followed my gut.

I needed a haircut because I feel a cluster of all my emotions with long hair. But, I didn't want to make an appointment, I needed a haircut at that particular moment (it turned out to be at L2 Beauty Salon). I was told to wait: sit in a comfy chair and drink water, which one of the staff friendly offered me - 15 minutes? Sure!
After that the haircut began. It was done quickly, qualitatively (in my opinion) and with the master's close attention to me. I really liked the place, the price, and I think my next haircut will be at the same place and with the same master - Alex!

Took a chance and came here to get my whole hair colored and I'm glad I did! It's been 5 years since I've been to a salon to get my whole hair done, so I was a bit nervous since my hair was basically virgin hair and I wanted something lighter since my wedding is in 3 months. I came for my 10am appt and was immediately seated. I showed Lam my reference photo and we both ended up agreeing on doing highlights instead of a balayage and he suggested a color a bit different from my reference photo. BUT I trusted him, and 6 hours later...it turned out great! Thank you, Lam!:) And thank you Leo for being so kind as well!
