Good service, great food. Straight up counter service Mexican food: tacos and burritos, hot and fresh. A good variety of fillings including fish, veggie, and vegan offerings.

The tacos were delicious but they have been inconsistent with the filling portions every time...
but what concerns me is how filthy the establishment has become over the years.

If the common eating area looks like this, I truly hope the kitchen isn't the same.
The restaurant desperately needs a deep clean, it even has a sour smell inside, hence why I got my tacos to go.

Fast & delicious. Friendly service. Got the chicken tacos, and they were gone moments later. So good, will definitely be back!

First of all, three stars is generous. Depending on the staff you get, you either eating eating or you leaving hungry. Yesterday, a staff member with thicker eyebrows had made my meal and she made sure I was fed. The tacos were made generously, delicious and probably the best shrimp tacos I ever did have. Today it was quite the opposite. A different staff member with very soft facial features had made my meal. It was almost as if my shrimp taco was anemic, lacking in substance and structure. I had plateful of them thangs, and I left the establishment still hungry. Didn't have the same taste and did not leave me satisfied. Super inconsistent. Could slap one day, and flop another

Not worth your time or money. The tacos were poorly seasoned, and I was surprised to have found the meat quite bland... disappointing considering each taco was $4 and so small too. The tortillas were stale and almost sterile in taste. But the biggest atrocity? The "guacamole" that I paid extra for (both on a taco and on the side) that turned out to be a measly green paste. An injustice to the guacamole legacy, and quite gimmicky considering how much I was charged.

It's saving grace: friendly staff. But no matter how friendly... bad food is bad food. Don't bother going here when there are so many better options for the same price or cheaper in the area!

Great Mexican cuisine, but a lot less than expected for the price.

We recently ordered burritos and chips with guacamole. The burritos were quite a bit smaller than expected but were so fresh and tasty, we didn't mind!

Our food did arrive cold and was a bit late, but due to Covid we weren't too surprised.

Overall: great food and not so good delivery from Doordash.

Not worth it. I got a beef burrito and it tasted like it was from taco time. Asked for guacamole and for the spiciest salsa but got no guacamole and they put pico de Gallo on it. Nothing about the burrito was spicy. Definitely a disappointment.

La Taquisa is a perfect grab-and-go Mexican spot located in strip mall just across the Bay St. bridge. It's a casual lunch spot with a couple metal tables and chairs outside, and window bar seating inside.

My usual is the shrimp burrito, medium spicy, with guacamole and sour cream. I appreciate that they don't charge trillions for the add-ons like some places do for avo products, and your choice of meats are all the same price as well. If you have a hankering for shrimp however, I would call ahead to make sure they have some in stock, as I've been disappointed a few times expecting to satisfy my craving, only to find that they were out.

The regular size burritos are $10, and though they are called "regular", they are MASSIVE! I have a pretty hefty appetite, but the "kids" size is usually more than enough for me, and you save $2 or so, and end up wasting less if you go for this size. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The only complaint I have is that some of the burrito ingredients are hot, and the veggies are overly cold, which makes the burrito as a whole cold occasionally.

My fiancé and I booked with La Taquisa to provide their famous tacos for our wedding reception at HCP Gardens. We eat at their different locations regularly and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Scott was our main contact and did an impeccable job! On the day the servers were prompt, the food was hot, and delicious. All of our (40) guests raved all night (and still do to this day) about how good the food was. The price was very reasonable, and we highly highly recommend them for any event!

Amazing. The best guacamole I've had. My 2 year old son was eating it with a spoon!
The food tastes really fresh!
