My favorite garden center in my favorite shopping center. Wonderful plant and gift selection. It is run by the nicest people. Their flower arrangements are beautiful.

Wow ... What a beautiful garden center !! They have EVERYTHING your garden would ever need ... its deceiving from the front , just looks like a small gift store . Once you enter the back yard it expands into this huge oasis . The staff is super friendly and helpful .

Ladera Garden Center is the BEST by far both in Belmont and off Alpine Rd in Portola Valley. Mercedes, Juan, Adrianna.. the whole family and team are exceptional!

This was a really nice nursery! I swung by before going to Stanford shopping center (it's about a 10 minute drive). I was very surprised by the variety of plants and pots and gifts they have here. The aisles are quite narrow so it's quite difficult to push a cart through, but they have a really nice selection of plants at really great prices. We ended up purchasing some PINK baby breath flowers that I have never seen elsewhere in the area. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful little nursery, tucked away in Portola behind Stanford University, with lots of cute gifts, home decor, and a variety of planters. Honest to God, the prices here (clearly marked!) are much more palatable than trendy plant businesses all over IG. Another plus? This shop is family and minority owned, and the family takes great care of their customers.

Make it a half day thing - hike in the morning, grab lunch in the area, and then add more plant babies to your green fam.

IMHO - Covid Edition

Loved, loved, loved this fabulous garden and gift shop in Portola Valley! My friend had heard about Ladera and wanted to check it out. We both love shopping at garden nurseries and were especially excited about visiting a new one! When I entered, I didn't know where to begin! Eye candy all around, from exquisite plants, succulents, trees, garden decor, colorful pots, orchids, fresh tulips, ranunculus, etc.

The gorgeous gift shop is a brilliant partner to the nursery. It offers lovely gifts ranging from jewelry, candles, stationery, serving utensils, home decor, soaps, lotion, some Jelly Cat plush, and much more! If you're looking for unique and beautiful gifts, combine something from the gift shop and the nursery and you've got it made!

I found a beautiful green orchid pot and asked Sophia's advice on what color orchid would complement the pot. After I made my purchase, Sophia asked if I would like her to pot my orchid! "Yes please!!!" Sophia transformed my already beautiful orchid into a stunner with her creative and artistic eye, simply by polishing up the leaves, and adding decorative branches and moss.

I told her no one has ever done that for me before and she replied "well this is Ladera!" Customer service here was exemplary, kind, and friendly. There is no doubt that I will shop here again and bring my friends!

Extraordinary service. Mercedes, Juan and their team are the best. If you want beautiful orchid arrangements this is the best choice in the Bay Area. They also have fresh flowers, plants and wonderful seasonal gifts. A treasure trove.

This place is a freaking gem! GEM! Run, if you need a host gift, arrangement, succulents or plants for the garden or a cute little jelly cat stuffy for your kids.

I always come here just to support local, but ended up booking an engagement photo shoot while I was in the area. I wanted to surprise the bride to be with a beautiful bouquet and had something in mind and within minutes, this wonderful woman- who's name I can't remember was pulling all the flowers of my dreams! When I tell you this bouquet was simply Devine, it was absolutely perfect!

The bride to be loved it! It made our photos for the shoot absolutely perfect, and honestly I couldn't of asked for anything more stunning!

They are fairly priced- have amazing customer service, friendly staff and beautiful items within the store!
