Lafayette Physical Therapy

Lafayette Physical Therapy has wonderfully been more than just physical therapy. What a great experience when you NEED help recovering from a surgery and experience a therapist - as well as an entire staff at all levels - seemingly focused on YOU and not just going through the motions (no pun intended)...

I appreciate their TALENTS and the way they go about delivering their knowledge, skills, and abilities; coupled with awesome engagement with me (and I'm sure all of your clients). They inspire! It's also great to see and here how they seamlessly interact with each other...

It appears their "WAY OF BEING" is aligned with the Lafayette Physical Therapy culture equipping and enabling the staff to amazingly perform all operations prompting this writing about them!

This place is awful. They billed me (fradulently) an $85 co-pay and my insurance just told me that is ILLEGAL and the max they can charge me according to my plan is $50. They are so greedy! This is for about 15 minutes of actual treament. They should just say they don't take my insurance if they are that tight. Also, you have to be treated in a room full of other people so I was lying on a table on my back while the patient next to me stared at my breasts. I feel totally violated by this place. Treatment was also sub-par. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

You cannot go wrong with Lafayette Physical Therapy. I've worked with two physical therapists and they are both top-notch. I want to give a shout out to Shaun who I'm currently working with. He is absolutely incredible. Things to be aware of...it takes time to get in to see a therapist so be patient. Also, the front desk is extremely busy. I recommend making your appointments while you're there rather than calling later. I cannot speak for the Pleasant Hill location, but if you schedule your therapy in Lafayette I think you'll be happy with their responsiveness, professionalism, and caring attitudes.

the rating is for a management decicion when a mistake was made at the appointment desk which they called a misunderstanding but made me pay for it.
when i talked with the receptionists i told them that my insurance will be in effect next week i asked them if i could start a week earlier and pay out of my pocked for the first 2 regular sessions if they would charge the insurance the first session which cost $195 instead of $140 thereafter and i was told it would not be a problem for them to bill the insurance.
well never the less i got charged for the $ 195 session and when i told it to the manager owner she said there must have been a misunderstanding but she cannot change anything and i would have to pay because we dont do that and there must have been a misunderstanding and pla pla pla .
i said then it was made by the receptionist otherwise i would have waited a week until my insurance would have paid it anyway.

well this is not the end of it with your bad customer service that i as a customer whos insurance pays for your service maybe in the thousands of $ will pay for your employees mistake ! how greedy can people get !
which means we can tell the judge to make an unbiased decision who will pay for the " misunderstanding," your greedy company in the wrong or i. i still have some more sessions reserved and will finish them,

A nice business for the Lamorinda community. The staff is very professional. They do a good job on working on complicated issues. I have worked with Gary and Val and they were both totally professional and love what they do. We are lucky to have a business like this in Lamorinda and they deal with your insurance for you. Five stars.

rude and disinterested front office woman. She was too busy to schedule me the first time I came in and when I didn't hear from them in three days, I called back. Nobody picked up but I got a text to text them. I guess they're not interested in new business. When I went back to pick up my script for PT, and said I would go look for a place that was interested in my business, a different woman said OK. The large woman in front was as usual completely disinterested in me and other patients walking in .

LPT is a beautifully run business! Appointments are always on time. The entire staff is professional, yet friendly. The place is immaculate. My therapist is Jordan. She is the best! She is extremely efficient, thorough, well-trained, competent, persistent, yet fun and warm.
Hopefully you won't need physical therapy, but if you do, this is the place to go!

Gary and intern Kat were great. Their team concept in assigning challenging exercises was consistent and complemented one another. They helped steer me in the direction of a successful recovery from my hip operation and I felt I made great progress over the course of my 4 week of PT. They were both attentive and before starting each session they wanted to hear how I was doing and whether I had any concerns/comments.

I was pleasantly surprised that the facility has electric stimulation machines that can be applied to the scar site for relief post session. All 3 technicians that assisted me with the machines were personable and supportive.

Lastly, I would also state that Lauren did a great job following up via email and the gal at the front desk was responsive and helpful in scheduling my appointments and providing emailed billing. I would recommend Lafayette Physical Therapy to anyone needing Physical Therapy.

Brianna Munson, PT, DPT, is one of the most intuitive, compassionate, patient, focused, and efficient therapists I've ever worked with... and I've tried dozens of therapists, using every method and modality available.

The team in this office is highly educated, present, and impeccable in their professionalism while maintaining a relaxed and friendly environment. Their highly organized staff communicates so well with everyone and anyone (medical plans, individuals, irritable folks experiencing chronic pain).

They treat each person who walks through their door as an individual, always using the latest and safest techniques to get clients functioning at top capacity again during and after any physical challenges. Yet, when I leave this office I always feel as if I've had talk therapy, because they really apy attention.

How did we get so lucky to have LPT in our midst? I'll never bother looking for another physical therapist again! I'd trust them with my children and highly recommend them for any phys-related challenge.

Diane is my PT, and she is amazing. I had neck surgery in December & Diane does an amazing massage on the surgery location. The facility is clean, and PT starts & stops on time. I highly recommend this location.
