Las Catrinas Restaurant and Bar

Stopped here for a quick lunch with my wife. SUPER friendly lady at the register. I asked if their carnitas were crispy, and she said not really, but they could make them that way if I would like. So nice to offer. Nixed the beans and onions in my burrito , plus a quesabirria and ordered a Cherry Coke. Unfortunately they were out of syrup on the fountain machine, so I ordered a Sprite. She then poured another Sprite for my wife for free and apologized about the coke.

Burrito= they messed up and put refried beans in my burrito but you could tell they were made in house and they were dispersed evenly so I really didn't mind them. Usually it would be a deal breaker. But I still enjoyed it thoroughly.

Quesabirria= one of the best I've ever had. I asked for consomme which I don't think it normally comes with but she gave it to me for free. Glad she did as it was so flavorful.

Highly recommend for great food and friendly, accommodating service!

They have a well known taco truck in Sacramento.

Was greeted at the door which made me feel welcomed.

Music was great (DJ & karaoke), Menu was clear; and in both English & Spanish,

I liked all the salsa's, but the one that stood out most -was the guac salsa.

Price was reasonable and portions were generous.

In all honesty I liked it better than other taquerias in Galt because this one tastes more authentic.

Will definitely return!

I and my daughter and son-in- law went to this restaurant for dinner

tonight. I had the combination plate which was delicious and was so much food I brought half of it home,

my daughter has the carne asada tacos and meat was so tender, she loved it. My son-in-law the. same tacos. but

also had a super large tongue burrito which he had to bring home one half , because he was to full. We are all

very happy with the service . This is a nice place not really anything going tonight as they were closing at 8pm.

I was getting my car smog tested right behind this place and decided to try this spot. There's a very nice lady who greeted and welcomed me. Their menu is on a screen above where you order. I decided to order the flautas plate and a Jarrito. After ordering, the food was ready in less than 5 minutes. I grabbed some salsas from the salsa bar. They were pretty good! The food was pretty good and authentic.
It's a cute spot and recommend it!

I had heard about this place opening on our neighborhood Facebook page. I came in and was greeted immediately by the staff. The staff was very friendly and polite. I ordered two taco salads and two tacos. The taco salads consisted of salad, avocado, cucumbers, cilantro, tomatoes, cheese and carne asada. The meat was the start of the dish. The carne asada was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The portion size was great for the price. All the additional ingredients were the perfect combination for the salad. I also ordered two tacos. The tacos were great and the salsa was out of this world good. Ambiance is very customer friendly. Great place to go for Mexican food.

The food here is very good! Fresh and authentic. I had the chicken flautas plate, hubby had the carne asada burrito, and our daughter had carne asada tacos. All of the food was delicious. This is a small family owned restaurant. If we don't support local restaurants (not the food trucks), they won't be able to sustain businesses here. They have the best rice in town. The flautas were fried just right and no one else in town has been able to do that yet! They are always over fried. Salsas are the real deal and not for the heartburn inclined! But they are tasty! Prices are fair and the woman behind the counter is so sweet!

So this salad was everything. I guess they don't make salads but they customized it for us. My hubby went and grabbed us dinner and this was flavorful. The restaurant is new but doing well. It's cute inside and the staff are so nice.

This restaurant has a great food!! I had their beef quesabirrias and they were delicious with the consome. My partner had a the Carne Asada dish and he loved it. The peach margarita was the bomb. Best of all Darnell was a wonderful person. His service was the best. I really enjoyed going there. It was worth the trip. We were in the area for business and drove 1 and a half hour away, but the best part was the restaurant. I will take the chance to go back there.

Not bad at all. Excellent service. Lady up front has great hospitality. Will definitely come back again.

5/5 stars because the food, service and ambience is amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have authentic Mexican food. This is coming from a Mexican herself go in and give it a try!
