Parked here for the Alcatraz trip.
Reliable parking space! They have an attendant out front as well as security. Any questions or concerns can be easily answered by them. Please read all the signs they have posted regarding their hours, prices, lost tickets etc. Everything is there and listed, there is no hidden information, so please don't be that person that doesn't read the signs and harass the workers when things don't go your way. They have cameras that get license plates on the way in and out, You have 10 min to exit once your ticket has been paid.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Pamela O.San Francisco, CA01Apr 23, 2024
We were double charged $18.00 for parking and I dont know how to get back one charge. We had trouble at the kiosk and another employee assisted us and now we have two charges of $18.00 on our credit card I have no address to write to the garage or a phone number to contact them. Other than this it was a safe place to park and we were pleased with our experience

Having done tons of research before i went to pier 39...i found this garage to be truly reliable.
Update: they now close at 8pm. And there are ample signs to remind you of this. They even clearly state, if you get locked out...call a number.
The place us huge, well-lit, clean, and not smelly. Attached to various commercial establishments, gym, community center etc. i felt very safe and secure. There is a security guard/attendant at the front and another going around.
Yes, pier area is a but sketchy when it comes to parking and car break-ins. Saw at least 2 cars with broken windows and these are cars parked out in open lots right in front of the street.
For $25 while day parking until 8pm..why not!!! Others are more expensive and unsecure. I parked here coz i was doing the alcatraz tour and it was close by. You can pay by cash or card.
All in all. Very good experience.
Cheers!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - SpaAddict K.Belmont, CA11248Jan 7, 2020
Great garage. We were going to Alcatraz. It's been a few years since we've gone but we were gobsmacked when we saw that the rates for garages around Pier 39 and Pier 33 were $40-$60 per day! What!
The daily max here on a weekday was $25. It's off of a quiet street, was clean and for San Francisco, the actual parking spaces were "normal", not crazy cramped. We saw a lot of security walking around, and it's not valet but self-park. Can't ask for more.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Darcy D.Vallejo, CA01Nov 16, 2022
Always liked this garage. But today I lost my ticket. Though the max daily rate is $25, they charge $60 for s lost ticket. At that point it's just ransom. I work on the block, but I won't be back here.

We came on a Saturday around 12pm and the garage was empty! It was very clean, no attendant present, but kiosks were available to pay afterwards. Big thing to know about this parking garage is it CLOSES at 6PM! If you get there by closing time, you'll be able to get in, pay and leave no problem. However, if you get back after 6pm there is a hefty fee and difficulty leaving without contacting an attendant (see other reviews). It was a little pricey (we paid $25 for 5hrs), but it's cheap in comparison to other garages in the area.

Dear Manager of Levi Plaza Garage,
While your garage is clean and well-maintained, some of your employees leave much to be desired. In particular, one of your employees, Jester, has been harassing and irritating your customers for quite a few years. This is especially true of some of the female customers who feel quite intimidated and harassed by Jester's proclivity to want to get into your customers' lives.
We just want to park our cars -- that's it! We're not interested in becoming buddies with your staff. We're not interested in their vacations and their unfunny jokes and attempts to place their kids in our companies. We find Jester's attempts at forcing customers to identify by name, profession and other personal information to be to say the least, creepy. If he's bored with his job, perhaps he should find other employment.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alexa N.San Francisco, CA01860Nov 5, 2018
Only review for Bay club members' validation parking, up to 3 hours is ok for weekdays but not enough for weekends. Clean bright safe, very good staffs and they really watch out for your personal properties. Thumbs up!!!

Absolutely unethical business practices. Accidentally swiped parking pass twice at the gate which automatically deactivates it. There's an automatic $50 charge to reactivate it. WTF!!!

We were here visiting from Florida and had Saturday tickets to Alcatraz. On the Alcatraz website it states to park in a near by garage since metered parking is only up to 2 hours. We chose this garage and arrived at 1:30. There was a sign posted stating they close at 6:00 pm and we figured that the Alcatraz tour would finish way before 6pm. We arrived back to the garage at 6:30 and the gates were closed and our rental car was stuck inside. They are not opened on Sundays and we would have had to wait until Monday morning to retrieve the vehicle. The only problem was that we had a flight to catch on SUNDAY morning. We began walking around the building trying to find someone that could help us. We found a nice gentle man who was the security, but he did not have the keys to open the gate. He gave us the phone number of the person who has to key and that person arrived 25 mins later, asked for $60 and opened the gate for us. WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
