Long overdue praise for Life Garden with Pedro and his team. My neighbors and us shared a side yard which we had been contemplating on what to do with it since it had been overgrown with weeds. We pulled some ideas together from the internet and finally at the start of the year doing something about it. We contacted Pedro for a quote and as busy as he was, he still managed to squeeze us in. Initially, we thought this would be too small of a project compared to some of the photos we saw on Yelp. He came to measure and we gave him an inspiration pic and about a week later we got back a very reasonable quote. We weren't in a hurry so he scheduled us close to a month out from the time he came by to look at our space. What we had done:

1. Remove the overgrown weeds and old mulch
2. Level the soil
3. New french drain along the side
4. New horizontal fences
5. New weed barriers, rocks, and concrete pavers

Here's a kicker, everything was all done in 3 days! These guys worked hard and oh man the workmanship and quality is impeccable. They were responsive to our calls and text for changes. We had one big change during the project as all projects usually have at NO fault of Pedro's team, and they were so agreeable and even said "no problem that's my job". Wow we are so impressed and hope you will be too when you hire them for your next landscaping project. Thank you Pedro!

Do not trust this company to do your garden. They are greedy.

Made an appointment to get an estimate and Pedro came by and gave me a price of $600 for the front and backyard. Surprisingly, just a small 2 bush trim was an extra $50 more. I gave it a couple of days to think it over, then I text back to arrange a schedule and specifically mentioned what we discussed when Pedro visited. No response, until I asked one last time. And then he texted to charge me $1350!

I was shocked. I said I couldn't accept, and all he text back was a winky smiley emoji.

I cannot trust Pedro will do a good job because of this.
This is poor business communication and a lack of marketing of this company. Very unprofessional.

Message to all customers: There are a lot of other choices out there. And believe me, I did my research and they too stopped by - all offering around the same if not better priced, and are licensed.

I highly recommend Pedro and his team! I received many quotes to fix a falling fence, but went with Life Garden because he was responsive, quoted a fair price, and understood exactly what needed to get done.

Additionally, due to schedules, I booked him for the project about 2 months after we'd first met. I was a little worried that with so much time in between, he might forget or have a conflict, but there was no problem. Arrived on time, did great work, and me and my neighbor couldn't be happier.

Pedro and his team did a quality job with our backyard landscaping project in San Francisco. They finished way ahead of time, worked extremely hard and the quality of work was amazing. We did pavers with turf and are very happy. Highly recommended.

Pedro and his crew at Life Garden were fantastic. They gave us a fast, reasonable estimate and stuck to it.

We asked them to do several tasks around our home and they did all of them expertly: tree and shrub removal, junk hauling, light landscaping. The team was fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves perfectly when the job was otherwise done.

Life Garden takes electronic payments (Venmo, Zelle) and delivered a thorough receipt.

Most importantly, Pedro was a good listener when we described what we wanted done. He fulfilled everything we discussed about a complex job perfectly. We cannot recommend him highly enough and will be employing him whenever we have yard or landscaping work in the future.

Pedro and his team were wonderful removing a fallen tree and collapsed shed in my backyard and pruning numerous trees. They arrived on time, worked extremely hard and followed exactly what I requested. They cleaned up beautifully. I was so impressed I asked them to replace the fence. Their price was very competitive and they were really enjoyable to work with.

Fantastic job! The team arrived on short notice and did a wonderful job. The pricing was fair and I would highly recommend. I will hire them again in the future !

Pedro and team did a great job pruning and trimming our tall pittisporum hedges, and then removing all the debris. Easy scheduling and payment. Would recommend!

Initial response was quick then no follow up. I had to follow up a couple times.

Pedro quoted me one price. He told me the work was done when it was not fully completed as we had agreed. When I asked, he said it would cost additional $$ to complete since he forgot to include in original quote. This would have had a total cost more than other quotes I received. And he told me he ran out of time and never offered to come back to complete the work.

The work was decent, but it doesn't seem to be fully honest to me, and therefore I would not recommend. The other 5 star ratings here got me fooled so hopefully this review can help others.

Pedro and his crew did an excellent job removing our 55 feet (or more) palm tree. Since we were on vacation, we schedule the removal of the tree a good six weeks in advance. They showed up on the day we scheduled and almost finished the job in a day with the final removal of the stump completed in a few hours the following morning. Great price as well. Left the area clean. I highly recommend them, at least for tree removals. I might have them do additional work in our yard.
