Lighthouse Rooftop has stunning views and feels like you're in a high-end Manhattan lounge right there in the heart of LIC. Customer service, food, and ambiance were spectacular. Dope music! Definitely, a spot to check out and vibe in.

I attended a birthday party here for a girlfriend in a Saturday night. We had a ball!
There were about 20 of us and we were seated in the mezz level. The place is gorgeous and the floor to ceiling views are breathtaking. The entertainment was a whole vibe. I'm talking Aerialists and Carnivale and Drummers and live DJ. We were out our seats a lot just jamming.
We were a large party so it took a while to get through our service- we were there just over 3 hours. Not once were we bored though. The service was top notch.
The food was great. There were items I wouldn't have thought to try (I'm talking to you Legumes) and some that were just fire (wings- need I say more). We had a pre set menu yet extensive so everything was pretty straightforward.
I'm already planning the next group outing backHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I visited Sunday July 28th, 2024 for dinner reservations inside.
First and foremost when I got out of the elevator the male host sitting behind the desk was so into his phone he didn't even hear me greet him 3 times. What a bummer, but another hostess was nice enough to help me with my reservations.
Lets get into my experience, the food lacks flavor, and the drinks are too sweet for my liking but they do put enough alcohol. Waitress lacked on checking on the table and it wasn't a lot of people. The ambiance is very clean and nice, the music the dj was playing for dinner was okay. The acrobatic dancer was interesting, even though she kicked a chair down while doing the silk dancing, made me a little nervous I was going to get kicked. I do think the acrobatic dancers need to do a bun and not ponytail or loose hair, feel as hair was falling into my food. The bathroom was not upkept, surprisingly for how nice the place looked. There was bathroom tissue on the floor of the stalls and it was soiled. Food pricing is good in my opinion I just wish it tasted better. Overall I had an okay experience, I don't think I'll personally come again.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Breenda S.Midtown East, New York, NY1820Jul 28, 2024
Heard about this rooftop a few months back and my friends and I were definitely interested in this new addition to the neighborhood. Long Island City/Sunnyside is on the rise for new and trendy restaurants, so my friends and I put this restaurant on our list and finally went to it last night.
The restaurant is large and spacious. The inside is two stories and there's an outdoor seating area. There's a sleek and modern feel, definitely a bit more clubby. The music is pretty loud at 7:30, but gets louder later into the night. My friends and I were seated quickly and the staff were fairly nice.
My friends and I ordered a round of drinks and our meals. Overall, the drinks were really good. Lots of flavor and very cute to look at. The food was good too. Pricey, but compared to other locations, definitely gives a large amount of food. Overall the food is good but nothing crazy in particular.
The best part about the restaurant is honestly the outdoor seating area. It's a great place to just get drinks and enjoy the view. With a new addition like this to the neighborhood, it definitely makes going out and having a girls night more convenient. My friends and I finished eating at around 9, but were able to sit outside to get more drinks. We spent about 2 hours outside talking, taking pictures, and dancing with the dancers. It's honestly a very fun vibe and place to go to for drinks and a good time.
I don't know how often I'd go back for food, but would definitely go back for drinks and the outdoor space. With a new addition like this to the neighborhood, it stands out and makes it a great place to have a good night.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 30, 2024
We had a 5pm reservation and it was packed with drunk people. I think they had unlimited mimosa or something.
It is a overpriced place. Food was okay, nothing extraordinary. We ordered a side order of sausage and the server told us that it comes 2pcs in a order and was $10. As you can see in the picture, when the order came it was one piece sausage cut it in half and charged us $10. So, i would say their food was not worth the price. I would not be going back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

My friend took me there for my birthday and we happened to go on a weekend so it was only a brunch menu. We didn't get any main dishes, but we got appetizers and they did not disappoint. the popcorn shrimp and the sauce was delicious and the tuna taquitos were amazing. They had a performer doing some acrobat moves which was pretty cool. it was a pretty busy place and you definitely need reservations. Service was a little on the slow side, but otherwise a beautiful rooftop location.

The venue is very nice. It's an extremely large venue with upstairs and downstairs seating. They can accommodate large parties. There is also outdoor seating which is great for wormer weather.
Service is slow. They seemed to have a lot of staff but they don't seem to be zoned appropriately to cover all of the tables. We waited 20 minutes to be greeted and offered water. Entrees came out at a decent pace. When looking for a server to order additional items, it was very difficult. Management did begin to walk around to greet tables in the latter end of the night.
I do want to state that our waiter was very kind and helpful when we did get to speak with him.
We also had a substantial amount of food remaining from apps and the buser kept trying to remove the dishes. Our entrees were coming out, but we were still working on apps and would have preferred to leave it on the table.
Ceviche mixto is just okay.
Lamb chops are flavorful. I recommend
Branzino I was told was average
Popcorn shrimp- nothing special
Drinks are good.
I would come back for drinks. This is a newer restaurant so I do believe there is potential.

This place is a must visit! Especially for tourists. We're from Chicago and our friend had her birthday dinner here. We got there around 7pm and it was a pretty nice vibe. After 8pm it got pretty lively...which was a great thing...if you like that restaurant and club vibe all in one! The server was pleasant and made great recommendations. The view when the sun was setting was Amazing! I'm a city girl so I'm big on skylines and sunsets. The only disappointment was the New York Steak Strip...It had more fat than meat But everything else was great. Honestly, I could've ordered two of the Chicken Wings with potatoes and been satisfied. The Chicken was great! I know I'd go back.

I came here with my bestie, a girl's night out in the neighborhood. We got to see the beautiful sunset from here. We got there on time and sat by the windows. The shifts were switching at this hour, so Tai told us they would take care of the table at 7 pm.
As promised, Brandy, our waitress, came by to take our orders at 7. My friend had a short rib roll, and I had shrimp tacos for appetizers. We shared both appetizers and thought the short ribs were delicious! The shrimp tacos were not bad, either. Then we moved on to the entrees. I had the NY steak, and she had Bronzino. Whoever marinated the steak was doing a fantastic job because the steak was well prepared. It was tasty, juicy, and tender! I tried a piece of the Bronzino, and the Chef knows how to cook this fish. So far, so good. Should we keep going? We both had some nice refreshments too. After enjoying our entrees, we moved on to a nice dessert, chocolate cake a la mode with a touch of whipped cream. That was to complete our night. My friend ordered something for her Hubby, and I had the leftover steak I brought home for my Hubby. Btw we witnessed an aerial dancer performance while dining. That was phenomenal. However, personally, the placement was a bit off.
I'm sure the place opened late because we saw a DJ near the stairs. We did look around before we left the building. There's outdoor seating as well. The place is perfect for watching the sunset. The food and service were excellent!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 31984Apr 24, 2024
The ambience and beautiful views were the highlight of this restaurant. The servers were nice but the food took so long to come out. We were waiting for an hour before the food came out. Good thing we like each other and had a good time as we waited for the food lol.
I enjoyed my food, I chose the only vegetarian option which could have been more filling. Overall The food was subpar but the vibes and views made up for it.Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 1 - Apr 13, 2024Updated review
This is my third time here, but I am writing a review because I came with someone different and had a full-blown meal and not for an event. I really wanted to come here and give a solid 5 review, but the service and the timing of the meals were off. I would expect the cerviche to come ahead of the main dish, but somehow it came waayy at the end. The menu did change this time around. For a place that charges gratuity, I would think that service would be impeccable. It was a bit lacking. I've been to other places where service is so great, and they don't charge for tip as I feel it is earned. I guess you're paying for the atmosphere of the rooftop. Also, the bathroom needs a total cleaning and a revamp.
Anyways, for the food, I tried different items such as sweet plantains, which was really good. The truffle mash potatoes were impeccable, and I would order this again. The guacamole and chips tasted alright. Nothing that special about it. The champagne pear dessert was very different from any dessert that I had. You can definitely taste the alcohol in it. I'm going back for a baby shower during the afternoon on a weekend. I'll see how the service and food are during lunch, too.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Dec 27, 2023Previous reviewThis place I discovered from Yelp. Otherwise, I would've never guessed that such a place existed. I had to map it out because the location was in an area that I didn't know about until we went. There are red velvet ropes. The building has many floors, but this is located on the very top. We didn't make reservations, but there was plenty of space to accommodate walk-ins, just not anywhere comfortable to eat at like a proper table and chairs. I did see people celebrating their birthdays and a proposal happening, too. It was great to see. It was a bit confusing who our server was as different people came to check on us, and since the music was loud, it was hard to communicate. Just be wary of the lightning as it was really hard to peruse the menu. We had to use our phone as a flashlight.
For the food items, we got a bunch and shared it amongst us both. The bone marrow was ordered, grilled asparagus, tuna tartare, and the lobster linguini ponlano. I enjoyed the tuna tartare and the chips given on the side. The lobster linguini had a kick to it, which I enjoyed, since no condiments needed to be used. I didn't ask for any hot sauce for the dishes, which is rare. For drinks, the 7 line and litchee sangria were ordered. I liked the drinks as both were sweet. I would like to go back some time to try out other dishes and drinks on the menu.
