Lima's Body & Paint Shop

I was looking for a local area body shop to repair some small dents and scratches to two of my car doors. I did a search and Limas was highly rated and seemed to be the cheapest quote among the auto body shops I got quotes from. The paint job and blending was very good and I could not even tell where the old dents and scratches were. Limas was very fast at completing their work orders. The staff were friendly and attentive. They can improve in the area of phone and email communications. It felt like there was a long awkward silence of no contact. I had to reach out to them to enquire about details sometimes. The text message was fast when my car paint job was done and they asked when I would like to pick up my car.

It was a true pleasure to find Lima Auto Body in Victoria. After having been the victim of other body, paint, and detailing shops that do substandard work (or end up damaging the vehicle), the crew at Lima exceeded my expectations. Their work is impeccable and the price is better than reasonable. They also honor their work and will do what they have to to make things right.

Next up: paint the motorcycle!

Great shop! I can in with body damage on my Prius. Chris came out and was able to resolve the issue quickly. I definitely recommend this place!

A while ago on the Island Highway, a rock slammed into the car right at the top of the windshield. Luckily the windshield didn't crack but it did get a chip on the edge. After recently washing the car, I noticed a small but significant rust spot in the roof above the chip where the rock must have penetrated down to the bare metal. The wizards at Lima Auto Body removed the rust and repaired the paint beautifully.

I can't say enough good things about Lima Auto Body. I'm a bit obsessive about keeping my aging vehicle in decent condition and am SO happy to have found Lima Auto. Someone I can absolutely trust.

My mom and I visited the shop to get a bumper replaced and remove some dents. Mr. Lima and his staff were a bit quicker than I was expecting and had the car looking great. They were also willing to use an extra bumper that I had instead of having me buy a new one through them, saving me a bit of money. I would certainly recommend it.

I had my 2013 F350 Platinum truck repaired at this shop, huge mistake. When I got it back the colour didn't match, there was a crease in the door and the noise from the wind whistling in through the closed window was horrible. I took it back and was met with hostility by the owner. He finally agreed the repair was substandard. They redid the door and the paint. This repair dragged on with numerous excuses. Sadly this repair is unsatisfactory also. You can see filler by the window which has been painted over, the power window does not work properly and the door rattles constantly. This is an expensive truck and deserved to be repaired as such. I am now out of pocket as I have had to take it to a qualified repair shop to have the door fixed. As a single woman my experience dealing with Lima was so unpleasant I couldn't go back.

Great service! Long story short a jack went through the floor board. These guys were able to get me in right away on short notice when all other shops couldn't! The repair was done promptly and on time, and the price I was quoted was accurate, which almost never happens with body shops. I highly recommend Lima's and will definitely go back again if I need more body work done.

Took my brand new Focus ST in after someone dinged my door and could not be happier with the service, and the craftsmanship at Lima's. The job was done faster than expected, and the car, besides the superb body and paint repair, looked like new because it was washed inside and out.
