      I was so thrilled after my recent cut/color with Halia! She really listened carefully to what I wanted, took time to customize to my needs, and made my hair look so natural and consistent with what I wanted. The salon also is fabulous with free snacks/full selection of drinks, luxurious Oribe products, and easy parking. Can't wait to book again with Halia!

      I had a great experience at Limon Salon! It was my first time visiting the salon and my stylist Abri was so great!

      I booked a blonding service with a styled cut + blow dry and it turned out better than I could've hoped. Abri is very nice, professional, and skilled at what she does. There is an overall good and cool vibe here and I felt very well taken care of by the whole staff. Looking forward to returning!

      I had a very disappointing and negative experience with stylist Destiny and the store manager Julissa. I used to go to this salon before pandemic and had great experience with highlight and haircut. There must have been a change of management that contributed to the low quality of service and the negative reviews here (I should have trusted the reviews and spent my $550+ somewhere else). For potential customers who are considering this salon, please save your money and time.

      - Unreasonable way of charging for service.

      When I first met Destiny, I had a good impression of her and thought she was nice. She told me I needed "color correction", which would be an hourly service, and mentioned I had "box dyed" my hair. I trusted her judgment and didn't even question it (in hindsight, I should have asked what is the standard for this hourly charge vs non hourly charge). As for "box dye", I used store-bought hair color to dye my hair about 2 years ago; if box dye was the reason for this "color correction", I don't think something from 2 years ago would be relevant. The first picture shows my hair when I first met Destiny - the color in the picture was done by another salon.

      - stylist being very inexperienced and does not justify the (obscenely expensive) hourly charge.

      I spent $550+ (including tip) on a 4 hour appointment with Destiny, the goal was to have a "balayage" highlight look. She seemed to work hard, but the result of that session was not satisfactory (see third picture) - the highlight was very brassy and patchy, which shows the (lack thereof) experience level. After the session, I expressed concern on how uneven the colors turned out to be and how brassy it looked, and all she told me was, it was all because of my hair, and the only way to improve it was to schedule another paid session with her.

      - complete disregard of customer experience or customer satisfaction

      Trusting her judgment, I did make the second appointment, fully intending to pay for it. When confirming the appointment with the receptionist, I wanted to confirm the cost and asked about the details (I didn't know whether it would be hourly charge again), and I explained this appointment was to improve the outcome of the first appointment. The receptionist then called back and told me they would offer a complimentary toning session. On the day of the session, Destiny first sat me down and sternly told me, "you left confused last time, and I felt sorry I had to cancel a week ago for your session, but I want to let you know, I would absolutely charge you in any other circumstances". It was ridiculous she would think I was there to trick her into doing another free session - Destiny, I made time and drove far to correct something that I wish I didn't have to with the large amount of money I spent. If Destiney was good at her job, I would be a satisfied customer happily spending that money; but she was not, so I had to make time to correct her mistake, and I had to sit there to let her lecture me?! That's just too outrageous.

      The outcome of the second session was bad, Destiny dyed my hair black with patchy, uneven, random yellow color in my hair (see second picture). I later got in touch with the store manager Julissa who told me the only solution was to "add a couple of highlights" for free. Julissa, with your professional hair salon management knowledge, you tell me if "adding a couple highlights" is going to fix my black hair with patchy yellow color? Of course she wouldn't know or care - when I asked why I was being charged hourly in the first place, she said "I don't do hair, I don't know". Wow, you don't do hair but you call yourself a store manager at a hair salon. Shame on you and your team.

      Limon Salon has this beautiful and posh boutique vibe. Walked into the salon on a Friday evening and it was busy! The check in area had nice displays of popular hair products. They offered me anything from the snack and drink bar while I waited for my stylist to be done.

      I made my appointment with Destiny a week or 2 before. The reservation process was pretty easy online. You search up who you want and what kind of service you'd like. They require your card info for the appt and charge it 48 hours in advance. Cancellation is ok if more than 48 hours. You can choose to pretip too.

      Destiny was very fun and helped me decide my final details for my haircut. I told her I wanted low maintenance curtain bangs and she gave me options. She also kept my length by trimming the ends of my layers. Her head massage after the hair wash was sooo calming that I almost fell asleep!

      During the cut she gave me so many pointers on how to maintain my hair's health. We tried lots of different hair products. At the end of the cut she asked if I wanted any samples which was nice.

      My haircut was $110 not including tax. Other stylists range from 110-150. You pay a premium but the service and quality is exceptional.

      I recently had an appointment with Gabriela for a haircut and toner, and she did an exceptional job with my hair. She listened attentively to my preferences and executed exactly what I wanted. Gabriela was very gentle and considerate, asking me to let her know if I felt any discomfort during the process. She explained each step as she worked on my hair. I highly recommend Gabriela; she is fantastic!

      The services are excellent! Even though we're not regular customers, whenever my wife and I have gotten hair styling/cuts there, we've always been satisfied. Hank, the stylist, is truly exceptional. I've relied on his advice and services multiple times over the past 4 years, and he's always been spot on. Thank you, Hank!

      The only concern I have is with the scheduling process, as I've encountered issues every time I've visited.

      Just finished getting full blonde highlights at Limón Salon and Cecelia did an amazing job! I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and she was able to get the color just the way I wanted it. It's been about 6 months since I did my hair full blonde but the roots grew out, so the highlights were exactly what I needed! I loveee the result! It was my first time at Limón Salon and it is a beautiful salon with good music and awesome staff! Thank you Cecelia!

      I booked an appointment for a haircut with Maura to fix an uneven haircut I had from a few weeks ago with someone else.

      Booking the appointment was easy.

      The day of the appointment, the receptionist was attentive and friendly. They have self-check in options, and they offer snacks and a variety of drinks.

      The salon is clean, well lit (perfect lighting) and had a great vibe of happy workers and clients.

      Maura was friendly, greeted me and took the time to talk with me about what I wanted to achieve with my hair. She really took her time to explain in detail what happened to my hair and how she could fix it. She really listened to me.

      At the wash area, I was given a couple of options of types of shampoo brands I wanted to try which was nice! I enjoyed the head massage... it was super relaxing.

      Then back in her chair, she took her time and cut to perfection. I didn't feel rushed and was super relaxed. After the blowout, she went through her cut again to ensure everything came out perfect... and it did.

      I'm so happy I found Maura! I highly recommend her and can't wait to go back in soon :)

      Late Cancellation, Unfair Policies

      Received a cancellation notice just an hour before my appointment at Limon Salon. Disappointed that their 48-hour cancellation policy doesn't seem to apply when it's them canceling. Unfair treatment and lack of consideration. The salon should reassess their policies for a more equitable experience.

      UPDATE: CARLOS IS A PATHETIC SALON OWNER.

      Carlos, if what I'm saying is untrue, why respond in the first place? Why have you been updating and replying on Yelp for the past few days? Aren't you a BIG salon owner? Don't you have better things to do than reply to fake Yelp reviews? You already made yourself look so stupid, don't make yourself look any more foolish lol

      Believe Carlos at your own risk. I was present throughout the entire process, and I paid. I saw my mom's hair become red and damaged myself. I even heard Priscilla saying that she doesn't get paid for this myself. The funny part is, Carlos wasn't there himself AT ALL.

      My mom and I were the clients, and the issues I'm addressing are real. Nothing I'm saying is a lie. He asked for my mom's review, and now he's using it against us. It doesn't matter who wrote it; a review is a review, and ours is based on genuine experiences. Carlos is an awful and unprofessional salon owner who avoids addressing real issues and instead blames the customers.

      Carlos sidesteps the problems I raised regarding the salon services. Instead of addressing the actual issues with the services, all he focuses on is accusing me of posting a false review. The main concern is the poor quality of services, but he tends to deflect from that.

      We talked for about 20 minutes, and he said he will get back to me by the end of the day. After not hearing from him, I texted him twice politely. When still no response, I posted on Yelp, and now he's being petty about it. Don't expect anything from him. He's a horrible person.

      Do not go to this salon!! Why? Please see for yourself. Can't reply to Carlos since he blocked me after dming me himself lol.

      Here is an update:

      Carlos, if you think my review isn't honest, that's your opinion. Of course, you're going to defend your salon. Let me make it clear: my mom is so unhappy she wants to sue. So don't tell me how she feels; you weren't even there. What kind of owner are you? You're nowhere to be found when issues happen in your salon. Blindly hiring people, charging a lot for a lousy job - that's not okay.

      It seems you're doing everything to make my review seem false. Why not explain why Priscilla skipped the strand test or didn't blow dry the hair? Your so-called complimentary adjustment means nothing; she wouldn't have needed it if Priscilla did a better job. And please tell me, what good did the complimentary adjustment even do? The complementary adjustment was only scheduled so that Priscilla could fix her mistakes. During the complementary adjustment, she added a lot of gold highlights to cover the red hair from the day before.

      Also, maybe pay your stylists better? Priscilla said she doesn't get paid for blow drying after a color appointment. What kind of salon is this?

      You're trying to act like you, your salon and the stylist, Priscilla, aren't to blame. If that were true, you wouldn't bother responding on this public platform. But you did, because you know you're at fault!

      I went through other one-star reviews, and I noticed your responses are quite arrogant. It's clear you don't really care about your customers. Here's a piece of advice: try being a more humble salon owner. Taking constructive feedback with humility can go a long way in improving your business.

      Don't forget to read the actual client (my mom's) review of this salon. You asked for it.
