Miguel came out to clear a shower drain and fix a bad leaky faucet for my mom and dad who are elderly. He couldn't fix the leaky faucet so we don't know if the shower drain is any better. He didn't ask for the trash bin so we're unsure if he pulled anything out of the drain at all.

The leaky faucet is an old model and he didn't offer any suggestions on how it could be fixed. He said find the paperwork and maybe we can order parts. For his trouble he said the bill was $200. Seems egregious for the 15 minutes he was here. He had two appointments in the building so I'm guessing he charged each appointment a trip fee. All in all not very helpful. The second plumber we called out from a higher rated San Mateo company offered a free estimate and no trip charge.

Water heater replacement. We had a bad leak on our very old water heater. Karen was great and got Miguel out within an hour or so. He drained the tank and turned everything off. He ordered a new water heater after different options and it was installed the next day. Highly recommended.

Issue: Broken shower knob shower have not been use for years.
I have 2 other plumbers looked at the issue both said they have to open up the wall. Ah What??!? This just doesn't make sense!! So everytime we have shower issues we break the wall to fix??? Well since Lindstrom is in the house to unclog the sink they might as well looked at the shower. They look, took a picture, will order parts and says they will be back. What??!? Just like that-- is no big deal. I mentioned 3x the shower have not been used in years. Well, Lindstrom was back a week later it took the guy like 20 minutes to fix. Just. Like. That.

Billing is shady. Quality of work good.

Be warned! Miguel may try to scam you with pricing. Something I had seen in other reviews. Called for a quote. Miguel came out and quoted me $4k for a bunch of work needed in a new home. But told me that was based a trip charge + estimated time + materials. I said great send me a quote. After not hearing back I texted him how I understood the pricing, time and materials and he said yes, that's correct.

Quality of work was good not great and asked for payment of the $4k. Since I was in a new house, midweek work from home, etc. I paid and said please send over a detailed invoice of work complete.

The detailed receipt never came and as I calculated the charge should have been closer to $2k, maybe $2.5k max. So called the office explained the situation, who then just pushed me back to Miguel. Who said no this was a project job. Not time and materials. I said that wasn't clear, and to be fair send me a detailed invoice.

Long story short. After 4 tries and deflecting by Miguel, no call backs, no one that can resolve the issue, I'm giving up and moving on. Be warned.

I needed my Sewer Line run for maintenance and Lindstrom came out and took care of it and did an outstanding job. I was very happy with the service.

This company is amazing. Responsive, professional and are experts in this line of work. They saved our house from flooding during this unprecedented weather. We have used others and there is no comparison.

We have used Lindstrom for the past few years for all plumbing repairs and most recently a faucet replacement. Always 5 star service from setting up the appointment to finishing the job. Ask for Miguel. He's very reliable, knowledgeable, kind, and works efficiently.

Lindstrom did some major work on our remodeling project. I always found Todd and the crew to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough, especially when working with various other contractors to figure things out. The best part about this company is that I always felt like I am working with a honest family-owned business, not some raiders looking to rip you off (plenty of them around). I highly recommend Lindstrom for projects large and small, especially along the mid-Peninsula.
