YELP never steers me wrong! Hubby found Little City Appliance Repair on YELP and after seeing the reviews we decided to give him a call....the right call! Derek was very professional on the phone and got us in quickly.

Derek showed up on time and was super friendly! I was worried that our refrigerator was circling the bowl BUT he diagnosed the problem very quickly and had it fixed in record time. He was very personable and knew what he was talking about.

We will definitely be using him in the future if any appliances need repaired. I would recommend Little City Appliance Repair to anyone....prices were very reasonable as well.

Easily fixed my expensive microwave! Now I don't have to replace it! I was very concerned when my microwave broke. It is one of those microwaves that mounts over a stove. I had no idea but they are about $500. So I really didn't wanna have to replace it. The man came out and replaced it easily all for under $100. I was so grateful and I will definitely use little city appliance repair again.

TL, DR: Decline in customer service. Wasn't even able to get a quote.

I'm not sure what happened. Maybe they're super busy and or understaffed? In 2017, when I needed my washing machine fixed, I had no issues and even left a glowing review with the service I received.

The updated review is in regards to the lack of getting a quote or any assistance. On 10/3/22 my refrigerator unfortunately stopped working. I remembered little city appliance had previously fixed my washer so I reached out to them via their phone number listed on their website. No one answered so I left a detailed voice mail. In case my cell signal was too spotty, I also ended up filling out a request for a quote for their services on their website.

After 48 hours of waiting, I didn't hear back from Little City Appliance Repair. There was no correspondence by either email or phone. I actually reached out to 3 other competitors and even though some didn't complete repairs on refrigerators and some were even on vacation, by the 48 hour mark I received some sort of feedback from the competitors.

As of the 24th, there are no messages in my inbox (yes I've checked my spam folder) and no one ever returned my call.

Ultimately, I had to get a new fridge which I'm not angry about. But it's really unfortunate that I wasn't able to speak to anyone when at Little City Appliance Repair to get help. I'm not sure that I can continue to recommend their services based on my interactions or lack there of.

Quality service from a friendly, knowledgeable, and straightforward technician. Will use again, no question.

My microwave bit the dust the other day... The down sid elf buying a huge house that is 30 years old is a lot of the appliances are originals.
Over the last few years, we've been replacing And re-doing a lot.

We made a appointment with John with Little City because of their great Yelp reviews of course! He called to come early so that was nice. He was
very professional and told me the microwave was so old that parts are not even available anymore... I was happy that the service call was only $70.00 because he was here
for over 90 minutes. It's annoying to pay a ton when the appliance is unfixable,

Frankly I wasn't too upset because I've been wanting to replace every appliance in my kitchen! It's so 90's!
Another thing that is difficult in Reno; is every workman is super busy!! There is so much building going on here now.

Prompt response and quickly diagnosed the problem with my oven. Had it fixed fast and very reasonable price. Absolutely will use this company again!

Derrick has consistently proven himself to be punctual, honest and fair in making repairs on a refrigerator and again today on a washing machine. He offers common sense options when I've had to determine whether to consider repairs or replacement.

We have found a GREAT appliance repairman!!Our washer started making strange noises and we were new to this area. I found Little City Appliance Repair here on Yelp, saw the good reviews and gave Derek a call. He was on vacation at the time, but called me back just as his message said he would. He was prompt, kept in touch by text so we knew when he was on his way and arrived as promised, tidy, friendly and with everything in hand. He diagnosed the problem, took the time to clean up areas of our front-loader I didn't even know were grungy, gave me some good tips to keep our old washer running and was very reasonably priced. I will be calling Derek any time we have an appliance issue!

Wow wow wow. These guys are awesome! They came out to my house in Verdi. I was able to schedule within a day and they did NOT charge me a premium for having to travel.

John initially serviced our oven. He called on his way to our house. Very punctual. He had to replace a part, made sure that the cost to replace was ok before he did the work. The part did not fix the problem, but it did lead us to the problem.

John gave us his opinion and we decided to go with his advice to replace our oven. He took the part back and did not charge us for extra time that it took for him to clean up. He gave us recommendations on what we could get and what our next step should be. He also told us that our electrical could handle double ovens if we wanted to upgrade.

quick, fast, honest- need I say more. We called as we were having trouble with another repair shop. The original shop said "big repair" super complex, weeks to order part. After they canceled and changed the apt and did a no call no show, we called little city. They came 3 days later, the fix took 30 minutes. John was super friendly, professional and the fridge is back up and running- Highly recommend!

This is the second time I have used their services. The first time was for a dishwasher two years ago. Today for a refrigerator that was leaking water from the bottom freezer drawer to the floor. John called before the service window time began to confirm and called again when he was on his way. Fixed the problem and was on his way in about an hour. Very competent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
