Great facility with all new equipment. Is COVID compliant and spotlessly clean. App makes it easy to book workout appointments. Well managed and easy to work with a personal trainer. Size is just right to never be too crowded compared to the big chain gyms. Feel the pricing is very fair for the facility and service. Fits in perfectly with the Cole Valley neighborhood and highly recommend.

Live Fit Cole Valley has everything you need for a great workout. They've managed to put a lot of amazing equipment in a fairly intimate space, while still creating a sense of openness. Even when packed, I always have a sense that the other members respect the space and have good etiquette about working in sets and sharing the floor space. The hours and key card access are clutch for me, as I'm able to get in a work out when it most suits me, which is either really late at night or super early in the morning. The staff is always down to earth and approachable. They also offer personal training! My trainer Lonnie always goes above and beyond when it comes to encouragement, consistency and education. I can't say enough good things about this gym... Great price! Great spot!

Overall good. If they added a sauna, it would be great. With sauna, I'd quit my bay club membership and bring all my friends to live fit from bay club (we are all disgruntled with numerous issues there)

Before working with Charles, I had been going to physical therapy for months to cure a lower back injury and had minimal results. Charles immediately created a customized workout program that not only healed that injury, but made my body extremely strong as well. I went from being someone who was very uncomfortable with their body to someone who is proud of it, and I owe it all to Charles.

Charles is more than just a trainer, He cares about me and his other clients outside of the workout as a coach, mentor, and friend. He consistently checks in on my overall health & wellness, even outside of the gym. I could never imagine working with another trainer - I love you Charles!

This not a big flossy gym; it is a friendly neighborhood gym and I think it is terrific. it has a good mix of machines and equipment that I am gradually learning to use with mats and mirrors that help me keep an eye on my form. It is always very clean and comfortable.

Lonnie P. is my trainer and I can't say enough good things about him! He has been helping me recover from a stroke and he is shockingly knowledgeable. He is patient and supportive and encouraging. I have made great progress and I am very grateful.

I think anyone who wants a nice place to exercise in a chill environment would like this place. And if you have challenging physical conditions, I hope you find someone as effective and smart as Lonnie P.!

Nice toilets are working! Upstairs TVs are fixed. I'm a happy camper.

I hope things stay fixed. This is a smaller gym so every piece of equipment NEEDS to be in working order.

From the moment I looked into this gym, I was greeted warmly and onboarded by Sahba, who made me feel right at home and eager to embark on my fitness journey.

Recently joined Live Fit Gym Cole Valley and am wondering why I never joined sooner. The location is IDEAL for me in Cole Valley since I'm now working from home and I live 3 blocks away. I also LOVE my training sessions with Anthony! He's attentive, caring, proactive in determining how best to utilize our weekly hour together, always has great stories as he gives me instructions about new or continuing exercises. He has taught me a lot about how my own body functions and why I sometimes have pain if I don't follow his instructions. Not only is Anthony an excellent trainer, he is so motivating that I want to come to the gym as often as I can whether he's there or not. The equipment is well maintained, the staff is super friendly as has already been noted, and the gym is right across the street from Luke's Local (get a Trippy Turkey Sandwich from Sammy or Ruby), Cole Hardware and La Boulangerie in case you need anything from any of those places before or after. Peet's Coffee is just down the street too. Glad I joined! I feel so much better from working out 3x/week too!

Lonnie has been the best trainer! I have been going to him for the past year and can say he cares for his clients and is dedicated to his work.

I moved to Cole valley in September 2020, and a big part of my decision to live here was the Cole Valley Live Fit Gym. I used to go to the Hayes Valley location and loved it there also.

I hoped LFG-Cole Valley would be a home away from home during this "pandemic", and sure enough it was! Kevin, and the rest of the staff, Bob and Nicole, treat me and everyone who comes in like family.
Also, Live Fit Gym did a great job with the new appointment process via an app.
Now, the equipment. It has everything from a barbell rack with plates, smith machine, dumbbells, barbell weights, kettlebells, and cardio equipment.
Everything you need for a workout.

I love gyms like this.

This isn't Equinox- you won't find coolers full of eucalyptus towels or yoga classes led by Instagram-famous instructors. What you will find is a small, clean facility, full of modern, well-maintained equipment, staffed by professionals and patronized by a diverse array of neighbors that span generations and backgrounds. LiveFit Cole Valley has been extremely quick to adapt to changing conditions due to the coronavirus pandemic and has communicated those changes clearly and precisely to its clients. They have been safely open to the community as much as they are allowed.

I wish there were more gyms like this in San Francisco- every neighborhood could benefit from an affordable yet high quality facility that supports the physical health of its community. I consider myself lucky to live in Cole Valley, and access to a gym like this is a big part of that.
