Lloyd J Brown, MD

Describing Dr. Lloyd Brown as an excellent Pediatrician would be an under-statement. He is the best Pediatrician I have ever come across. An expert in his field, he is extremely affable, compassionate, and ever smiling. He is amazing with the kids. He always listens to us carefully and patiently and gives his valuable advice. We strongly recommend him. He is the best one. We feel lucky to have found him for our child.

Dr Brown is absolutely phenomenal and we are so lucky to have him as our Pediatrician. He is not only extremely thorough but also cares deeply about his patients. As first time parents, we are very grateful to have his superb level of care for our infant. We also appreciate the wonderful nurses at his office, who are fantastic.

Dr Brown was our pediatrician for five years. He is amazing! Kids love him. He is on time and patiently addresses all our concerns.

We are really lucky to have Dr. Brown as our primary care pediatrician. He helps us and our children feel comfortable right from the start. He's very knowledgeable and we have such high confidence in his observations, suggestions and medical advice. I really appreciate the ability to email him and his care team and we either get a email or call back pretty quickly. It's helpful especially when we are traveling. He's nonjudgmental and empathetic. Dr Brown is the best. We love him. Even after moving to 30+ minutes away, we stayed with Dr Brown because he's exactly the kind of doctor you'd want for your kids: caring, knowledgeable, warm, spirited, professional , compassionate, etc. We're extremely lucky for having our boy under his care. Even my ob doctor said "you lucked out" when he heard Dr Brown is our pediatrician!

It took us a long time to find a good pediatrician. Our first with our first child who was also with pamf resigned so we went from one bad one to the next (plenty to choose from). Quite a traumatic process for the kiddo & stressful for parents. Finally through a neighbor's reference we found Dr. Brown. I don't want to leave the area due to the excellent care he provides. He's thorough kind patient and understanding. He also is convincing when he has to be. He sees both my children and we are extremely happy. I would rather have a cautious doctor than a negligent one. But he never puts undue stress on us parents like some can. Not very excited about the office building space itself.. could use a remodel & the Radiology department is horrible. They don't know what they're doing. Hope no one has to ever go there! Lab also is not the best but pediatrician-wise Dr. Brown is your man ! Ok

Dr. Brown is wonderful. He's taken care of my three-year-old daughter her whole life, and we had no hesitation in signing up our newborn son to be under his care as well. Dr. Brown is warm, friendly, kind, genuine, and immediately puts kids at ease. He is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and prefers to discuss pros and cons rather than just telling you what to do. He's also very responsive over email and has given us lots of prompt and helpful advice that way.

Dr. Brown clearly makes an effort to keep up to date on the latest research (for example, he briefed us on recent conflicting studies on whether early introduction of solid foods increases or decreases food allergies in children). He's open-minded and not dogmatic: he supported our decision to have our second baby at home and to forego circumcision, even though these are unconventional decisions. At the same, when the evidence really does support a specific course of action (such following standard vaccination schedules), Dr. Brown doesn't hesitate to say so emphatically.

Most importantly, Dr. Brown obviously really cares about his patients. I always look forward to taking my kids to see him - I am glad they have him as such a positive role model in their lives!

Dr. Brown is so wonderful with kids and I'm so glad to have him as our pediatrician. He's patient, kind, caring, knowledgable; overall, just an amazing doctor & person. I feel like he was born to do this job every time we see him. The thing I appreciate most about Dr. Brown is his effective communication skill: 1) He's really good at precisely explaining to me what's wrong with my kids, making it really easy for me to understand, and calms my nerve. 2) He's very responsive to all my email and usually get back to me in the same day. And, if he is out of town, his awesome Nurse Sonia would get back to me quickly as well. I highly recommend Dr. Brown!

Both of my children see Dr. Brown, and have for years now. We had another pediatrician who was great for my daughter but horrble for my son.

Dr. Brown speaks to the kids, gets them engaged, remembers what their interests are and is just the most down to earth nice man on the planet.

He takes his time, makes suggestions, and listens. We come from Los Gatos (45 minutes door to door) to see Dr. Brown. He is worth the extra drive.

Dr Brown has excellent bedside manners, is gentle with kids and patient with parents!
He made good suggestions for our infants frequent vomiting. When he ordered several blood tests and we had a very bad (unsuccessful) experience at PAMF lab, we called him and he suggested going to Lucile Packard Lab at Stanford since they specialize in infants. That was a very good suggestion indeed!

1 star less for not suggesting going to Lucile Packard straightaway. Having an infant poked around with a needle for 15mins only to hear the Phlebotomist say she can't find a vein is no fun!

Truly happy Dr. Brown has been taking care of the health of our two little daughters. He's helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Highly recommend!
