The salmon medium rare had been 120%
Perfect every time.
The bar tap and cooler beer. Cooler than average.
Sports tv's and friendly barkeeps.
Or barkeeepstreeses are very very very friendly.
Engage in chit chat and make you feel welcome.
And as any weary traveler will tell you.

Is so nice.

Lamb chops with mash potatoes and vegetables. This food is delicious. The mash potatoes was spamming they had small pieces of potatoes in it . The lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I am ordering again!

Chose this place after looking at other reviews. Also needed someplace close to my hotel.
The airline chicken had a wonderful Marsala wine and mushroom gravy that went perfect with the mashed potatoes. The veggies were cooked perfectly and not overdone. You could tell they made the mashed potatoes fresh for my dish-- yum!!
The fish and chips looked like what I've seen served in England, so good job there. My husband said they tasted good. There was ample quantities of food served with both meals.
The food was served quickly and paying the bill was super efficient.
The atmosphere is casual and laid back with basketball games on the 3 TVs in the place.
It looks like they a full bar of alcohol to choose from for drinks.
There was plenty of seating. We were there on Friday at 8:45pm and we got a seat immediately.

The service was awesome, the food was hot, fresh and tasty and the ambiance was chill. Full bar and restaurant with many TVs to watch sports, etc. If you stay at the Marriott here you will enjoy yourselves, so give it a try!

Overall, the quality is ok, but it's not English styled fish and chips (the bar is high). It's also literally located in the bottom of a hotel lobby. The 4th wall is open to the lobby, which would be very awkward if it were a busy hotel.

So Whenever I'm in Oakland, I stop by here to eat - a must !
I stayed here once a few months ago because it's close by the airport. The restaurant seemed to be pretty busy & i didn't feel like doing Uber eats & i am so glad I did cause now it's one of my fave food spots!
they have reallllly good steak! & lambchops! i was surprised cause it's just a random restaurant in a hotel! the service is beyond great! the best bartenders linda & rashon!
i'll be back soon & try more food items from the menu. OH & their mashed potatoes are soooooo good.
