Great people.
Very accommodating.
Parking close to boat dock a PLUS , especially on a super-hot and muggy morning.
Again, very accommodatable, wagons to move your bundles from parking lot to your boat.
We rented 21foot Grady white, great hull, 4foot nose into waves, not a splash over the gunnel, no wind, flat day on the Sound, bow riders stayed dry and no pounding!
We had four people but just as good for six.

Took us a couple of times to figure out the power of this engine as with my skier getting up. Lot of torque just as your coming out of the water and then power up pulls the reigns out of your hands. Gotta go slow at that point on the throttle.
All a learning experience to us as we have been boating fora couple of years.

Absolutely the worst first experience with this boat rental company. I had planned a surprised ALL-DAY boat rental with captain for months. We rented a car, ( non-refundable ) , found a local hotel to stay in ( since I was planning to drink, Non-refundable ) for the company to tell us when we're 5 mins away that something is wrong with the boat. I went to speak to them in person, since I was VERY close to them. I tried to be understanding over the phone and still was in person, but they didn't really care or took interest in helping find another alternative or even apologize. The girls ( staff ) were very focused in having their noses in their laptop, didn't even look up. And promised us 10% off our next trip which I practically begged for since it's a complete inconvenience to us and our whole day! It's such a shame safety precautions were not met in advance to ensure a successful boat rental that day, and it's even worst with the type of treatment you get with the staff especially in their wrong. I wouldn't recommend this company if you want to plan something set and stone. Other people told they were cancelled on their reservations as well. I don't even want to start with how I saw our boat that was on dock leave with a group an hour later.

Very informative and make sure they give you a full rundown before you leave the dock. Everyone is polite and they are quick to answer any questions you may have while you're out on the water. They keep up with boats as they are always clean and in good condition. I also really like how transparent they are about prices, gas usage and refunds. I recommend this establishment 100% and hope to continue using LI boat rentals for years to come.

It was my sister's birthday and this was our first time renting a boat. We Booked online and it was seamless. We couldn't have made a better choice. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. They allowed us to bring food, hook up our music and even blew up our floaties from home! Our captain Tommy was knowledgeable, patient, a gentleman, an amazing guide, and super fun!!! The sunset was unforgettable and we didn't want the experience to end. The boat was gorgeous and we plan to make this a ritual every year!!

We have a wonderful time every time we rent a boat. The staff are professional and helpful. The sound couldn't be more beautiful. Tubing was the most fun I've had in a while. Especially during these Covid times, they keep the boats clean and run a tight ship (pun intended). We'll be back!

My husband booked this rental company online and overall we had a wonderful experience!

Our captain Steve was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. We were a group of six with some of us with high anxiety about boating (aka me), and felt totally at ease the whole time. This easily topped fancy yacht experiences I've had on vacation. It was truly a cultural / fun / local experience that I recommend everyone needs to try!

So thankful for our 3 hour speed boat ride!! Only minor concern is that they did not pick up our phone calls or answer our texts morning of the ride - but smooth sailing once we were there.

Did this with a group on a Friday night. Boarding starts 6:30pm as well as open bar. On tables was an assortment of cheese and crackers. They passed around a few apps like pigs in a blanket, rice balls, shrimp skewers, spring rolls. Dinner was buffet and tasty for the consideration you are on a boat- penne alla vodka, chicken franchise, tilapia, prime rib, veggies, mashed potatoes, salad. Dessert was cake and fruit with coffee. Open bar concludes at 10pm with a dock arrival back at 11pm. DJ was fun but wear flat comfy shoes. The boat rocks back and forth so if women are in heels you're in trouble! Went under 6 bridges, and saw the Statue of Liberty. Lots of fun and worth $125 for all included.

Decided to not use them as their employees were not wearing masks. Even when walking around to enter another shop. Not cool.

Took my first boating lesson with Jim. Great instructor. Very informative and explain all basic boating rules. Went on the water and learned a lot about navigating through north shore waters. He was very thorough with learning to dock boat which he said is one of the most difficult parts of boating. All in all left very confident with being able to drive a boat in the future and look forward to renting from Long Island boat rentals.
