This taqueria was a pleasant surprise! After Barnes & Noble, I wanted a burrito. I'm so grateful Yelp suggested place! Parking is absolutely a challenge. Great thing is that it's right next to a residential area so we parked a ways down. In hindsight, it was a good idea because we were so full afterwards.

Always order the green sauce. It's the best! I got my burrito and decided to order wet burrito with green sauce and it was the most perfect bite each time. The meat is seasoned well and tender! It's so juicy and I love that the meat was stuffed and overflowing. Same with the regular shrimp burrito. Every bite had shrimp in it and I was so happy. Each order comes along with house made chips and there's a sauce & condiments bar in the corner. I'm definitely coming back for the wet burrito!

I passed by Los Cuates Taqueria a few times now going to neighboring restaurants and gave them a try on a recent Sunday afternoon.

The interior is spacious with a lot of tables and a mini salsa bar.

At $14.xx the steak nachos weren't cheap so was expecting them to be awesome. But they fell short, not sure what the red stuff in them was but it made the nachos weird.

The service at the counter was really nice.

Might be back to try their burritos but not in a hurry to go back.

The food was okay. The prices are pretty high for what it is. Disappointed to see the microwave on the counter. If it's fresh, you don't need a microwave. Took too long for a burrito order. Probably won't go back.

The burrito was ok not even good not worth a penny. To add insult to injury, the lady cashiers sneakily charged me 25% sale tax for a $10.75. She thought I was stupid and didn't know it. I saw her hit the register twice for the tax. Seeing they have no business I felt sorry for the business and not confronting her. If you have to eat here make SURE they don't rip you off

The burrito cost $10.75 the place charge me $2.44 in sale tax, close to 25% for sale tax.

THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!!!! Do not spend money here. My husband got a burrito and two tacos and the total was $47!!!!!! I urged him to go back and clarify why but he did not. We will never go here again. Too bad because we love to support local businesses. This incident had me so mad. Food quality is shit. ZERO STARS!!!!!

Craving a burrito but trying to watch the carb intake. Los Cuates is near my workplace and decided to check it out after reading the reviews. The menus found on Yelp were a little different than the menu in the restaurant. Prices are also higher.

They didn't have the burrito plate listed on their menu but they had no problem fulfilling the request. I asked for no rice and turned down the tortilla on the side, only ate some of the beans. Ordered it with the pastor. Didn't have to wait too long for my order either. Bill was $12.47, including tax.

At first it may not look like much, but it was pretty filling - probably more so if I kept the rice and tortilla. Appreciated that all the components were separated so I could combine each bite as I liked. Pastor was flavorful. Liked it with the sour cream and cheese. If anything, maybe would've liked the onions chopped smaller but that's just me being picky.

I'd return to try other things on the menu.

Came here specifically for the Birria tacos. Let's talk about it.

The Quesa Birria comes with 3 birria tacos. The tortilla is lightly fried to a crisp. filled with mild portion of queso and birria. i actually enjoyed this dish as it comes with some cilantro and onions, lime, and chips. We asked for tomatoes on the side. The birria broth could be a bit more flavorful as that is usually the icing on the cake. aside from that this dish is filling, and that's important.

Los Cuates has a simple atmosphere. The walls and decoration is nice, Vibrantly heritage. Tables are actually nice, which imo is great because we all like clean tables.

Looking forward to our next visit here to try out the rest of the menu.

I was craving an authentic burrito. Not one that only used refried beans but whole beans. No lard either. A brick size burrito that had some weight to it. Well, I am sure glad I found this place while in town!

The carne asada was seasoned well, not salty nor bland. The rice and beans were authentic and blended together as expected. Real stuff like the burritos you can get in the Mission district of SF. Perfect taste with the sour cream and guac melding together with everything else. Great horchata too!

My taste buds were satisfied so much that I finally found the place I was searching for. The woman who took my order was friendly. The seating area was clean and they were playing the baseball game on tv. I will definitely be back next time I visit my friends here! Check it out!
