I called after getting locked out of our home around 8pm on a Friday night. After calling two other locksmiths I was pleasantly surprised when a live person answered the phone. Low Key Locksmith was able to provide me with a quote and appropriate time of arrival. They arrived on time, walked me through my options and had me back inside my home in no time. During the entire appointment the locksmith wore a mask and followed safety protocols. They were professional and I wouldn't hesitate calling them again or recommending them to friends and family.

I tried to replace a broken sliding glass door handle/lock myself but after much fuss just couldn't get it to work.

Zaid came out within a few hours of my contacting him (despite my making it clear that this was not an emergency) and got everything working in minutes.

Next time I'll just call him first!

I asked Zaid, the Owner of Low Key Locksmith to please come & help me one day before 3 pm. He not only gave same day service, he rushed to my aid to do it.
He did a quick, extremely efficient job.... I was rushed to get to work by 4 pm, so he then told me he would see me a few days later to do my other locks. He is kind, honest, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and just an awesome human being in general.

He then literally came back to my home..... on-call on this past Sunday evening at 1145 pm, and did NOT charge me after hours prices for his services he changed 3 more doors to secure my garage & home, a total of 8 locks, 4 key copies, and his fee was "EXCEPTIONAL"!

The value in his work is 'STELLAR'! Well beyond a five star rating for me!

I needed a spare key fob made for my 2022 Toyota Camry. Zaid said he could do the job and came out the same evening. After about two hours of him trying to program the second key, he informed my husband it could not be done but he would be charging us an $80 fee for "running diagnostics." I'm not sure why Zaid was running diagnostics on my vehicle when that is not something we asked for or that was needed. The check engine light was on, however this was only because I needed an oil change. My car is only 2 years old with very low miles and has no mechanical issues. Zaid also did not offer to leave the new key fob he was unable to program.

The next morning, I realized my original key fob was no longer working. I now had NO working key fobs; worse than when I started. I contacted Zaid who suggested it may be a dead key fob battery. I changed the battery and nothing. Zaid proceeded to tell me it was an issue with my car's computer and not something he did. He pointed out the scratches on my front bumper, said my car was "damaged from hitting something, and my car's computer had been affected." The scratches on my bumper were from over a year ago when I nicked a post in my driveway. It is very minimal cosmetic damage only. My vehicle has never been in an accident and has no mechanical issues. It only has 26k miles on it!

I contacted a second locksmith who only charged me an extra $40 to fix my original key, in addition to programming a second key for me. The 2nd locksmith fixed my original key, cut & programmed a new key for me and was finished in under 15 minutes! He also confirmed nothing was wrong with my vehicle or its computer. Zaid mistakenly reset my original key which is the reason it was no longer working.

We spent an extra $120 on locksmith services due to Zaid's mistake. On top of that, I had to take a lyft to and from work that morning which cost another $76. I asked Zaid to refund the $80 we had paid to him. Originally, he offered to refund only half. Also, he did not offer to return and correct his mistake and refused when we asked. Only after threatening a poor yelp/google review did he refund us the full $80 and offered to fix his mistake if we were willing to drive and meet him at a "half way" point so he wouldn't have to make the full drive.

I have no doubt Zaid has done a great job for other people , but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Easy breezy. Came to my home to create and pair a new spare key for my Ford Truck. Was done in no time. Key works. Would recommend.

Requested a locksmith to come to our residence since we were locked out of our house. We were able to get in the house before the locksmith came. My husband immediately called to cancel and a few minutes later the technician still came.

Once my husband explained to the technician that he was able to get in after all the technician said that was fine left then came back and said his boss said there's still a charge of $30.

Even though my husband called and canceled. Since the technician was not informed before coming to our home, the owner advised the technician to go back and charge us. We were given some random amount to pay. $30.

Keep in mind whenever you call for a request regardless if you don't get a service, you're gonna be charged $30 and not disclose that upfront.

I hope your $30 was worth me writing this review to let others know this is not how you run a business.

Apparently, owner is attempting to not take ownership of this scenario. This occurred yesterday. 5/12/24.

I called yesterday and they offered same day service. Had all our locks changed and a couple of them had to be replaced. The technician that came was very helpful and told us exactly what needed to be done. We are very happy

Supper impressed with the customer service provided. Husband reached out and they came to our door and was able to key our car door - they were fast and efficient and gave us a great price. We would definitely recommend them.
