Took my car in to get my tire patched.
They stripped the lug nut threads on my wheel hub and did not balance my tire. Car started rattling on the highway right after. Took to another shop... 2K repair, car not able to be on the road.

This shop takes 0 responsibility and would not work with me at all to resolve the issue they caused.

Go else where.

The best and honest mechanic you are going to find. I took my car to this shop religiously for the past 10+ years. Jerome is the best!

They don't stick to their estimates and could end up charging three times what you agreed to. They don't stick to their time frame. If they tell you that the car will be ready on Monday, you can count on getting it back on Monday, only two Mondays later. When you call, if you're lucky enough to get through to Jerrome or Jeremy, they will put you on hold and never come back. They don't stand behind their work. Yes, they'll tell you that their work is warrantied, but if you actually need to hold them to this, they will yes you to death and keep you waiting for weeks. I would stay away.

Easy in and out for updated registration. Will definitely come back for this and any other car issues that come up.

This is my second review ludlow is the best, I bought my car today jan 31 2023 for dashboard and column light thought is was a switch Jerome the great (owner) put a fuse in and bingo dashboard and column light up. My 1998 ford escort I bought new is kept going thanks to the wonderful mechanics at ludlow. Jerome always goes the extra yard.

Got there early for inspection. They drove my car right in. Polite, professional, no hassle. Out of there in 30 minutes.

Good experience with my car inspection. Quick. I will come back. The street is a little tight where this is located, so just something to be mindful of, but they make it work. Good customer service.

I get my car inspected here. No appointment necessary. I am always in and out quickly. A couple of times they have pointed out small things I need when I'm there like new wipers which they also replaced quickly for a price I'd expect to pay anywhere. I was wary going there because it's lower Manhattan and thought I might get overcharged or something but for the small things I have gone there for they have been quick, knowledgeable and charged normal prices.

I brought my 2011 accord in for vibration when braking - not surprised it was the rotors. HOWEVER, "the not starting but then starting when I turned the alarm on and off." they could have easily ripped me off by telling me it was an electrical short or something expensive. Nope! It was just a loose battery cable - no charge! They found s bulb out and replaced it no charge :) sweet. But what was icing on the cake was that they found a screw and fixed my broken remote without even telling me/taking credit for fixing it :)THANk YOU JEROME.

Only potential negative perception would be that the guys directing traffic during drop off can be a bit gruff. But don't let that deter you. I sat around for awhile and witnessed their almost impossible task of jockeying all the cars into place on a narrow one way street. I thinks they are actually teddy bears.

I see why this place is so popular. Oh, and did I mention they finished my car early??taZ
