I created an account just to give a review because of my experience here.

The food itself was good, but the thing that was truly notable was the service.

We were served by Dean. He was, I think, simultaneously the most respectful and entertaining server I have ever had at any restaurant. He took so much care and pride in his work and made our group of not-particuarly-young-or-hip work friends feel like royalty. He was funny, quippy, and engaged. I worry I make it sound like he was overly involved, but he was anything but; we excitedly invited him into our conversations whenever he came by.

I even noticed one of our table members make a request for a dish change that felt a little obnoxious to me, and Dean handled it with total grace.

Our table talked about how we had never really experienced this degree of artistry in his role. We talked about how we should open a restaurant and beg him to be the host.

We recently booked a reservations for a Birthday Celebration. I have to commend their Online option as our last minute Friday reservation was accommodated and confirmed.

The Food is always so delicious. Thank you to the Chef who worked on Aug 16th.

Mostly, our waiter Justin was just one of the best servers we could have asked for. He was attentive, answered our wine and specials questions and checked on us often. We certainly felt special and that our patronage to the restaurant appreciated.

Maggiano's is one of our favorite Go-To restaurants so, I hope Justin will still be working as we will request his table next time. Plus order the wines he smartly recommended. We brought a bottle and didn't have room to try their new labels off the menu. Next Time For Sure. Thank you.

We went to Maggiano's after a tour of the Winchester House down the street, parking was easy. We were there for early dinner (Sat at 4pm) and we had reservations. We were seated right away and we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Our waitress was absolutely sweet and she made the right recommendations for most of the dishes we wanted to try. We also took advantage of the $6 take home paste while we ordered our regular meal.

We had the chicken parmesan, the rigatoni "d" and the shrimp Alfredo. Take home was spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken Alfredo. The chicken parmesan was the best of everything! The Alfredo's and the rigatoni D were thick and creamy. The chicken in the rigatoni D was dry but the creamy sauce helped that out. I would not order the rigatoni D again (it was named after the chef who made that dish famous). The chicken in the chicken parm slapped though!!

I'm going have to come back for other things I'd like to try on the menu.

We ordered the sampler dessert for our dessert and they were also super sweet and brought out lemon cookies for our anniversary. I forgot to take a photo of the dessert platter. My favorite was the butter cake. It's a classic and usually my way to tell if a restaurant can make a classic...and they made it wonderfully!!! I think I would have wanted that a full slice (next time!!). The people next to us ordered the special lemon and raspberry cake which was on the menu for a fundraiser for the Make A Wish foundation and I had regrets.

I wanna go back, despite that it was a chain, it had a good vibe.

I forgot how good their fried zucchini was. Today, I was reminded! LOL. We ordered takeout for the following...

Crispy Zucchini Fritté: Lemon Aioli (5/5). Long thin zucchini battered with bread crumbs and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The crunch on this is A M A Z I N G ! ! ! Dip it in the lemon aioli. Y U M !

Sausage Flat Bread (3/5)- crisp bread, flavorful. Good portion-size.

Maggianos has been in Santana Row for decades and really nothing has changed. The decor and menu are basically the same.

Service was actually fast and friendly. We were seated almost immediately on arrival. No issues there.

The food is just OK. Huge portions at a reasonable price is the appeal. But flavor and consistency are just nothing to write about.

We got the Caesar side salad and the chopped salad. Both were actually good and served quickly. That said, nothing extraordinary about them.

The lasagna was just ok. The noodles were slightly dry and the tomato sauce was really acidic. It was basically what you'd expect from a supermarket frozen lasagna. Not bad just not amazing.

I have eaten here many time and enjoyed it. The last couple times we've taken the kids and they always find something they like on the menu. We've never had to wait too long for a table, even though it's usually busy. This last time we got to eat outside and enjoy the music that was playing in the plaza. The kids loved it! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Always a good place for large groups.

A great place to go for a celebration dinner. I ordered the famous rigatoni "D" (not sure why it's named that...), which came out promptly. Our server was friendly and had no problem explaining what came in each of the dishes we ordered.

The rigatoni was creamy and the mushrooms and chicken tasted delicious with the sweet, fatty sauce--I would say the pasta was a little too rich for my taste, but who am I to say no to noodles drowned in a buttery sauce.

Afterwards, our server brought out dessert cookies since we mentioned the dinner was for a celebration. Appreciated the cookies, but they were a little too dry for my taste.

Ambiance is romantic and perfect for a date or a celebration.

Met a friend here one afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to discover it was during Happy Hour. There was no wait for a table, at the front of the restaurant, near the bar area. We had some drinks and shared some flatbread. We weren't really hungry since it was after lunch and too early for dinner. Ordered 2 flatbreads and discovered they were huge and filling. We had leftovers to take home. This restaurant is quite spacious and would be perfect for large group gatherings. Plenty of parking at nearby garage.

Omg! Best service from Steve at Maggiano's! I came here with my family to celebrate my husband and I's anniversary and we were treated so well...which made our dining experience incredible! The food was also great! I ordered the blackened salmon and husband ordered the rigatoni. It was so tasty and full of flavors. I loved how the salmon had a mix of spinach, peppers, and mashed potatoes. Ambiance is always nice here (and we've dined here many times). Dim lighting, Italian feel, friendly staff, clean atmosphere. Overall a great experience dining here once again, but made extra special with Steve as our waiter!! Thanks, Steve!
