A cool spot to enjoy a beer and delicious pizza! We ordered pepperoni king and happy to report, it indeed was full of pepperoni. I honestly prefer a crispier base but it didn't take away from all the good tasting things on this pie. Will have to come back to try their other toppings cause, duh, why not?

Two slices of pizza for $10. I find this pizza to be quite dry. The red sauce as base is nothing special. The pizza had plenty of toppings which was great. Ive tried 3 or 4 different flavours from Mama Said pizza prior to this review and nothing really stands out. It's not that this pizza is bad, but that its not much better than places like fresh slice.

Was already a mega fan of their work from their food truck frequently parked on brewer's row in Port Moody. Now, they also have a brick and mortar restaurant in the neighbourhood! Their drink selection pairs perfectly with the 'za. All the staff are lovely, especially Brandon the bar manager, he's always so kind and emanates a great energy. My fave pizza is the Daywalker, packed with roasted garlic. The meatballs is a fantastic starter dish to share. It's mine and my partner's favourite date night spot. Casual enough that we don't feel out of place, but elevated for a low-key special dinner out.

Mama Said Pizza, I say heck yes!
We came on a weekend early evening and was happy to hear they had room for our group of 6.
This little shop is serving up some freshly made pies! They also have a food truck down the road selling subs. We ordered their beer on tap and for someone who hates beer, it was surprisingly palatable. It was a brew from Phillips Brewery and was salty with a hint of sour, like plum juice.
We ordered 3 pizzas to share - Pine and Swine, The Mama, and Hugh Fungus. Haters gonna to hate, but I love pineapple on pizza. Instead of the traditional ham, their version was made with bacon which were a touch too crispy for me.
The Mama was divine! It was our favourite of the night. It was a "wetter" pizza so the toppings slid off, but the flavour was bomb! The honey sesame crust was a sticky mess (in a good way) and made it more interesting (like eating breadsticks) for crust-haters. The balance of sweetness from the honey, savoury prosciutto, and pop of the bitter arugula was delicious.
The one star knock off was for the Hugh Fungus pizza. It was the least favourite out of the three and tasted bland. The flavour was flat and was overshadowed by the others. The only other downside is that parking can be tricky if the streets are full.
Service was also great. We were greeted and seated right away, and servers were quite attentive. A server walking by saw us struggling to split the last slice of pizza and offered to bring us a knife.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 6, 2023
Amazing place for pizza in Port Moody! They use to be a food truck near the breweries but recently opened up their own store front. This is our second time here and our first time at their store. We got the Hugh Fungus pizza to go and it was not a long wait at all to get our food (10-15 minutes) on a Friday night. The pizza was very fresh and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended and one of my favourite places for pizza in town!

We heard such great things about Mama said; even saw how full the restaurant was, so we knew we had to try it. Called in and ordered 2 pizzas at 545 and was told it would be ready at 635. Arrived at 635 paid and was told it would be another 15- 20 minutes as they had a large order come in. Unacceptable! So I walked back in 20 minutes later for them to tell me they added fennel to the 2nd pizza and would have to remake it. At this time, it had been over 1 hour since we placed the order, and frankly, I was directed with this entire scenario. So I was fed up and asked for a refund for all of it. They had trouble refunding, and after a few attempts, I had to call the manager . Nothing got solved, so just to get me out of there, she gave Mr cash back and 1 of 1 pizzas we ordered. Now, this had been sitting on the bar while all this was going on. So I drove the 5 minutes home .and it was barely warm. The taste was okay, a bit too thin of crust to hold the toppings. Plus, the toppings were literally dropped in 1 line across the pizza, so not on every slice. Will not recommend it and will not go back. Their box even says HOT and FRESH, and it definitely wasn't. Plus, their customer service needs work.

Top Quality Pizza with literally no room for argument.
This food truck is only/always parked in the lot of Twin Sails Brewing. Take out only, you can call ahead or order online, a great tip since this van is hecking busy especially when the weather is nice.
The menu is a variety of eight, 14" pies that will satisfy the hungry gremlin that lives in your tummy. I personally prefer their minimalist options; The Big Cheese (Mozzarella and Ricotta coated with Parmesan) is one of the best things you will ever eat. Same goes for their straight Pepperoni Fiend Pizza, honestly, its luscious, I might be more than attracted to theses slices than I would like to admit. Try their signature 'za called The Mama, you will understand the glory of a honey kissed pizza crust and perhaps never want to anything else.

I ordered two mediums via Door Dash last night. Upon ordering I requested adding green peppers and extra sauce. I was charged $4 for extra sauce and $4 for green peppers. The pizzas arrived cold, not warm or luke warm, cold. The extra sauce was either not added or very little was added as the pizza was still quite dry. They left a hand written note on the box specifying that they didn't add green pepper but still charged us for it. Instead they covered one of the pizzas with raw uncooked onion which on top of a cold pizza was a super weird choice. I picked the onion off and tossed it. $78 was the total for two medium cold pizzas with a Door Dash discount. Luckily the Tri-Cities has a lot of excellent pizza options as I'll never have to order from Mama Said again. I'd highly recommend skipping this place and going elsewhere.

It's simple - it's 5 stars if I order a large pizza for the first time from Mama Said, completely expecting to eat half for lunch and then pack away the rest for later in the fridge, only to look down at my pie to see I have only one piece left. And my 2 friends who also ordered their own pies ended up demolishing theirs down to the last slice as well! We were all pleasantly shocked.
Fresh, made-from-scratch dough, top-shelf ingredients and properly foldable slices, and all toppings spread in the just-right amounts.
My friends and I live across the city, far from Port Moody, and yet we're already thinking of our next trip to Brewers' Row, just to grab another pizza and run through the menu.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
