Marcio’s Painting

Marcio, and his team, came in like super heroes. I was facing a pretty extensive clean out and cosmetic renovation project and had lost my painting contractor last minute. Extensive electrical work in the condo was already complete and had left many of the wall areas still waiting for patching. And with a new carpet installation appointment (which was a total PITA with Home Depot but that's for another review) already scheduled, getting the painting done was paramount.

I did a Yelp blast looking for someone who was available in the TL and reasonable, both in cost and timeline. And I was pleasantly surprised to find a great group of contractors reached out, making Yelp a "go to" for sourcing for contractors since. Marcio's company was one to stop by and provide a bid. His son Brandon came for the walk through and was super knowledge, polite, and informative. I received the professional bid within 1 business day, which also included hanging new lighting and window coverings. The pricing was competitive and also fair but what would be the most impressive was the timeline. And we all know time is money but is hard to quantify. His team started work within a week from confirming the bid and the entire job was complete within 7 calendar days! During Thanksgiving, even.

They patched more than 10 electrical holes, hung 5 new lights, and painted the walls and ceilings of a 945 square feet condo in the tenderloin. The results speak volumes but the experience was equally impressive. Marcio runs a well oiled operation with trustworthy professionals. The team was reliably on site every day at 8:30 and in the final push of the job we decided to vacate the otherwise occupied unit for several days. The guys were gracious and always available if we had a question.

By the end of the final walk through with Marcio the only remaining question I had was whether his company did work beyond painting as I'd love to work with them again. Unfortunately for us, they do not. :)

Marcio recently patched and painted a wall in my apartment. Marcio was super responsive, his pricing was great, and he was very punctual. His guy even finished faster than expected. Easy to communicate with and professional.

Marcio and his team just recently painted my condo's master bedroom and office/guest bedroom and it came out great. They primed and patched any holes on the walls/ceiling, then applied two coats of paint of my preferred color. Overall they were very efficient and completed the job in only two days. They also did an excellent job of cleaning-up and there was no hints of paint drip anywhere. Pricing was also very fair for the job too. Thanks again for breathing life into my home Marcio Painting!

I chose Marcio based on his great Yelp reviews, responsiveness during the quote process, expressed interest in the project, and fair price. My propoerty has a lot of architectural detail that needs to be enhanced by the painting so not an easy job. And I made a great decision. I also needed someone who could keep me up to date since I was out of state and could not see the work in person. His team did an amazing job - I was sent pictures regularly by him, and I had a couple local friends pop in to assess the work, so I know it was excellent! I highly recommend Marcio, and have included some pics of their beautiful work.

Marcio painted our living room, hallway, kitchen and dining room. His team was very professional, he provided great advice on the type of paint to buy, and handled material procurement for us. Their team made the process really painless by documenting where things were before they started - so no need to take down paintings or move furntiture before they arrived - they handled everything with care, and put everything back exactly where it was. 10/10 would work with them again on any painting project.

Four years have passed since I first hired Marcio and his crew to paint a large bedroom in my house. I was pleased to find they were still going strong in the Bay Area and hired them again to paint a different bedroom. This room was in rough shape and needed quite a bit of prep work.

If anything, they've gotten better since my first experience. They arrived on time, treated the house with the same respect they would their own, and finished the entire job in one day. The clean-up was perfect. No trash, no drips, no dust or debris from the prep.

For the level of service and quality of the work, Marcio is very fairly priced. He is quick to write a quote and schedule the work. Pick a room and go for it!

My building needed some painting due to weathering. Marcio was very responsive to my request for a quote and did not pressure me for an answer while I was waiting for HOA approval. Once the work was approved, Marcio was able to start the job with in the week and completed the work in less time then originally quoted. The painting looks great and I would definitely call on Marcio in the future.

Marcio was quick to respond, quick to send an estimate, quick to book and get the ball rolling! He'll answer any question, but you have to ask them.

On the day work started, he dropped off a fella who didn't speak much English, which was fine...he got right to work and was respectful. If there was anything I needed to communicate, I just texted Marcio.

The project was complete, done beautifully, and at a reasonable cost!
