Marin Airporter

For people looking for a relatively painless way to get to the airport, Marin Airporter is perfect. It runs often, the schedule is pretty accurate, and it spares friends/family from the annoyance of driving to the airport. Buses are clean, drivers are professional, and it's a nice chance to enjoy the view instead of fighting traffic.

I have taken the airporter numerous times. It's always a welcome way for me to start my trip. They always have seats available, it's a comfortable bus and offer prompt service. I'd highly recommend

Just had the worst experience today. I've been using Marin Airporter for about seven years now. I parked at Hamilton in Novato, we get to Hamilton only to find out there no way to pay for parking. I wasn't alone...I'm standing in the parking lot giving my card number over the phone to someone at Anderson. Very unprofessional Marin Airporter. Today's my last day using your service.

I'll start by saying I've taken many airport (bus) transfers so my expectation is realistic and this is passenger advice more than feedback for the company.

When you board, the driver may load your luggage and ask your destination. Normally, this interaction would result in the driver actually stopping at the destination he or she asked about. -This is not the case.

Turns out you'll need to be familiar enough with the route and stops so you can do whatever is necessary to again alert the driver to actually make the stop you want.

Stand up, wave your arms, make lots of noise I guess..? In our case, we assumed the driver would take the information given when we boarded and deliver us to our intended destination. -He blew right past it and at the next stop, we were told it was our fault; zero customer service. -Weird and disappointing. :-/

They pick up both in Marin and at SFO on a specific schedule so be prepared to wait esp returning from SFO. Also factor in traffic going to SFO. If you can work around that it's a good way to get to the airport!

Fantastic service - the only way to go to and from SFO! I only wish they also went to OAK.
Why can't public transportation learn from these guys ?

Tired from a long day of travel and just want to get home? Or do you need a swift form of transportation from the airport so you can get home and prepare for work in the evening?... *raises hand*. Then AVOID the Marin Airporter!!

Took this airporter from SFO to San Rafael on Halloween 2017.

First, the bus arrived at SFO fifteen minutes late.

Second, the bus driver gave the wrong bag to someone who disembarked at Manzanita. He turned us around on the highway 101 in Corte Madera to drive all the way back to Manzanita to swap the bag. There were twenty passengers on the bus, and we were robbed 30 minutes of our time because the bus driver screwed up and gave the wrong person the wrong bag.

I've taken this bus multiple times, and would not post a review like this if it wasn't a consistent issue... but the bus is CONSISTENTLY 15-30 minutes late at SFO, and the blatant disregard for passenger's time really shows where the priorities are. Once they have us on the bus, they have our money, and we are a captured audience to the actions of the driver.

To top it off, the bus driver was EXTREMELY rude and unapologetic.

At 9:06am at Terminal 3, I was getting onto an Airporter bus when the driver said he was not going to Hamilton Novato.
The driver told me to wait for the next bus only 10 or 15 minutes later. But it did not arrive until 9:56 am.
As such, I am freezing cold having waited outside since 8:45am.
I can clearly see there was absolutely no traffic today, so why is the Marin Airporter reducing the frequency of bus service without notifying customers either online or in-person.
I will never listen to the drivers again and warn my coworkers and friends / neighbors to avoid your shoddy service.
It is ridiculous that we can travel 1000 miles in 2 hours, but I wait an hour and 15 minutes just to get on an airporter for Novato.

What can I say about getting to SFO from Novato for $21 and no hassles?? We hop on at Hamilton and hop off at our airline curb. The drivers help with your luggage. I can't think of a better way of getting to the airport. The best part about it is that you can sleep the entire way down and not feel exhausted from driving, parking, dropping off luggage and trying to find your traveling partner again! There's a very funny bus driver as well. He's a great guy who tells some jokes and makes the whole ride bearable. I will never drive my car to the airport again. A+++++

I really have to share my sympathy for a driver during commute time at SFO on a Friday night. Our driver pulled up and at full speed loaded and seated fellow passengers and myself with plenty of apologies. Already 40 minutes late, sweating, and having missed his own personal break, I was of no mind to criticize the poor gent's tardiness. He was doing the best he could with the crazy traffic out on the road.

Luckily, the ride was air conditioned and the seats comfy. I already knew it stopped at several conjested locations before it reached the Hamilton Station. I expected the ride to take time. Mustering up my reserve of patience after a 10 hour flight was all I could do. The driver got us to our station as quickly and safely as possible. For that, kudos all around.
