After several years of good experiences with various Marin Car Service drivers, we had an experience so scary a couple days ago that I felt the need to alert other potential customers. The business owner, Brian, came to pick my wife and I up from an international flight at SFO. He had our flight information and should have known that our flight was coming in about 30 minutes late. I texted him as soon as our plane landed, and again when we were through customs and had our bags, telling him which door we'd be exiting through as he requested. When Brian encountered us at the pickup point. He yelled (literally yelled) at me for not picking up his six phone calls to me. I told him I hadn't received any calls, and my phone didn't show any calls from him. He said he didn't believe me, and in an abusive way demanded to see my phone and berated me for keeping it in my pocket (which I had to do because we were carrying six bags, not that it's any of his business). He was so abusive and aggressive that I told him we wouldn't get in the car with him. He then threw one of our suitcases on the curb and yelled various profanities at us. He was so threatening, and frankly unhinged, that I told him if he didn't leave I would call the police, and then he said "I know where you live!" to my wife and me. How scary is that? I have never seen that kind of unprovoked threatening behavior from anyone I've done business with, and my wife was literally terrified. We then called an Uber XL, the ride was fine and actually cheaper than Marin Car Service. As I said, we have had numerous perfectly fine experiences with Marin Car Service drivers over the years, but this incident was enough for us to reconsider our options, especially since the abusive driver, Brian, actually owns the company.

Brian and team at Marin Car Service were amazing. They took the stress out of having to get ourselves to and from SFO from Fairfax. We sent over our info, passengers, baggage amounts and Brian set it all up. Prices were completely reasonable, too. They arrived to our home before the stated pickup time and they were there when we landed after a long trip abroad. Can't tell you how good that feels when you're tired and spent after a long slog!

I spent a lot of time reviewing services and Marin Car was just the best. I'll be using them from now on. Thanks Brian and team!

I scheduled a ride for my husband and it was very smooth. The driver was friendly and made my husband feel safe and cared for. Plus, it was an EARLY pick up, we felt confident that the driver was going to show up and not bail on the ride at 3am.

Marin Car Service is everything they promise to be and more. I have used them a couple of times with no problems whatsoever. Recently I was returning from Asia, we encountered delays, a lack of internet connectivity and an extra flight to get us back to SFO. I was able to send off a very quick note to MCS letting them know my new flight and I squealed with delight when I finally turned my US phone back on and had a message from our driver. I fully expected to be taking a taxi home but MCS made it happen! I know they can not do this for every rescheduled passenger but they will do it when they can and because of that, they will keep my business.
