Going in, I was concerned that the Mariner Square Drystack system would be a lot of trouble. Its not. They've got this whole drystack thing down to a science. I'm convinced this is a better way to store our boat.

First, your boat stays indoors and out of the sun, wind, and elements.

Second, your boat stays out of the water. In the estuary, this is key because there is some crazy stuff that grows on hulls. The investment in Mariner Square Drystack will eliminate hull repaints for us.

Third, they retrieve your boat from the drystack faster than I could have loaded it into the water off a trailer.

Lastly, the location is cool. Its right next to a restaurant for post-boating meals, and the water is in the calm portion of the estuary across from Jack London. A short hop up the estuary puts you into the wilds of the Bay.

They also have good customer service, and keep the place very clean. Check out the spic and span bathrooms.

We've now been a member here for 6 months and feel this is the best investment we've made in our boating lifestyle. Last year, when we were on a trailer we had the boat in the water 4-5 times (during the whole year). Now, we are in the water 6-8 day per month since April.

The team here is fabulous. Very helpful, very responsive, responsible and easy to work with.

Our boat looks great too since it is not getting beat up be the weather on the trailer or getting salty in a slip.

Let's be real. MSQ Drystack is a boat valet service, and they deliver that service perfectly.

We very much appreciate it too.

We made a decision to keep our boat at Mariner Square Drystack and Storage. This is the best marina you could ever ask for! It's beautiful, clean, and the customer service is impeccable.

The owner goes out of his way to make sure your boat is set up right. They have nice showers and laundry if you need them. And best of all the boat owners here are great people, they have a very tight knit community of trustworthy people.

Some people don't even realize that they have boat slips, but honestly they're some of the best in the bay! Clear views of Jack London square from our top deck and back window.

Had a great experience here! All I can say is wow! Coming from taking our boat early to find a parking spot in the morning at the Berkeley ramp and waiting in line to wash the boat into this experience at Marina Square Drystack was an amazing experience. They take very good care of the boat and wash it for you, extremely nice people and would definitely recommend this place.

I've never left a Yelp review before, but I feel compelled to leave one for Mariner Square Drystack and Marina. Laura was absolutely amazing in helping me find storage for my boat. I had a terrible experience at another marina in Alameda, and Laura restored my confidence in the great customer service that Alameda normally has.

I called her and gave the details of my boat. She wasn't sure if they could accommodate me but would contact her harbormaster and get back to me. In less than 30 minutes she had called me back saying it was okay to bring my boat by to be measured. Not only were they able to accommodate my boat, but it was a very competitive price for indoor storage (which is nearly impossible in Alameda).

I can't say enough about the staff and their professionalism. Many thanks to them and willingness to help me out. Thank you so much!!!

I come here every Saturday because my dragonboat team from UC Davis always practices at this site for 4 hours. This is a great place to practice at because there usually isn't that many people out on the water. Depending on the weather it can either get really sunny or very cold and windy. But most of the time when we do practice, it is usually cold and windy and I would say that that is the only thing I don't like about this location of our practice besides it is really far from UC Davis. If you're ever on the water, make sure to gear up with a lot of cold gear! Stay warm and stay hydrated as well!

When you are tenants here you feel like family more than "tenants" - these folks know how to take care of you and your boat! They are the only drystack I have found in the Bay Area that offers all of the services you need for your boat, all in one place. Very professional and always there to help. Highly recommended!!

I recently moved my boat here from the Alameda Marina. I have to say the whole facility is top notch. The people are incredibly nice and go out of their way to make sure everything is done right. The facility has all conveniences; bathrooms, showers, washer and dryer, freshwater on the docks to wash down the inside of your boat, secure location after hours. Following each time they launch my boat they call to ask when would I like it removed from water. When I return from using my boat a staff member usually approaches me to ask when I would like them to remove boat from water. If I return after hours, I receive a phone call the next day to ask about when I would like boat removed from water.

Another nice feature is that they have contracted with Filld which is a mobile fuel service to bring fuel to boats inside the storage building. The price is pretty fair for mid grade unleaded that is stabilized and is cheaper then the marina fuel dock just across the estuary. The facility also has an independent marine mechanic inside that can help with with everything from minor trouble shooting, which by the way I used his service for that, to engine repair and replacement.

Cost obviously is a bit more than a trailer storage yard like Alameda marine, but the amenities and security make it a much better option plus your boat is not sitting in the sun and weather day in and day out. As a fisherman that uses my boat almost every weekend it is great not having to deal with launching and retrieving. When I want to go out just make a call and show up, boat in water ready to go. Plus they are at the beginning of the estuary so no 30 minute ride to the grand st launch ramp at 5 miles an hour. Once away from dock it is about 150 yards of "no wake" zone and then you are in the open water of the estuary.

I was just looking up the address to forward to a friend so he can meet me at my boat tomorrow and could not find John Beery Yacht. I'm not sure what other dry stacks provide or maintain but my Chris Craft has been with the Beery team for 7 or 8 years now and they are fantastic. Everything is accommodated for us. There are lots of expenses in life but some you don't question when the service is excellent.

I own a 20 yr old Donzi which this marina and their helpers have kept maintained and serviced so conveniently it takes all the stress out. For a few Benjamins a month, this marina, it's staff and their helpfulness has delivered a huge stress releif is well worth it when you call and they launch your boat within an hour. This Marina's staff pays attention to it's customers and I'm very satisfied in my dealings over the last 14 months!
