I love working with Ivan. He is so easy going, and creative, and best yet, he is a great listener. it is rare to find this in a general contractor / remodeling contractor. He is exceptional.

He came and gave us a reasonable bid for a bathroom remodel. A complete down-to-the-studs tear-out, move things around, and rebuild. He even custom-fit a piece of furniture we had to be our new bathroom vanity and set the sink and faucet into it. Wow!

As we had so many ideas floating around, we decided to pay him by the hour. This was fair to us both as our ideas changed and solidified. And as it turned out, the price came in right around his bid, including all the extra time for our changes. This was so great.

I have now used him for other property and highly recommend him to others.

We used Ivan for a bathroom remodel. He finished ahead of schedule (2 weeks versus his estimate of 3) and was on budget and very proactive about the items we needed to order to ensure the project stayed on track. He and his team were courteous, very conscious of keeping our house clean, and worked efficiently every day.

Ivan was a great communicator, both upfront and during the process, and delivered a fantastic project for us that exceeded our expectations!

We just completed a large remodeling project in San Anselmo and I can't express how easy it was using Ivan. I have managed other remodeling projects and I have rarely seen so much care and attention to detail. Ivan was always one step ahead of me and I never had to nag him to get anything finished. If anything wasn't perfect he would bring it to my attention before I had a chance to notice and then fix it quickly. Our project was finished with no extra costs in the time that he promised, even with the heavy rains. This was somewhat of a miracle and due to his engineering a makeshift roof in order to keep the project going.

I should mention that my family of 5 was living on our property but not in our house so I had to interact with Ivan and his crew on a daily basis. They were all great to work with: timely and efficient.

For our "down to the studs" kitchen remodel, my wife and I were in search for the builder with a good sense of style, attention to detail, and ability to make decisions and execute the project on their own. Ivan / Marinland Builders were the perfect match and went well beyond our expectations, all on time and under budget.

Ivan and his crew are professional and extremely hard working. They were ALWAYS on time and got to work immediately when they arrived. I was shocked at how quickly they executed the project and how well they were able to keep it under budget. Ivan is a very good communicator and keeps his word! He was always reaching out and communicating progress and clarifying questions if he had them.

Ivan also has a great sense of design, so much that my wife and I were very comfortable with him running with things after we reviewed the initial design. He gets the job done with a very good attention to detail and craftsmanship. He stands by his work and will always follow up. Ivan even came back out to our home a few times to fine tune things at our request, free of charge.

If you're searching for an absolute pro contractor / builder for your next project, I could not recommend this company more. Do yourself a favor and save the hassle of dealing with anyone else, Ivan and Marinland builders are definitely the right choice.

Ivan recently completed an extensive remodel of our master bathroom and we could not be happier. The final result exceed our expectation. Ivan is truly a master of his craft. He takes pride in his work, is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of design, offers helpful suggestions, pays attention to details and is a pleasure to work with. The quality of his work is exceptional. He is also efficient and cost conscious. Our project started on the scheduled date and finished ahead of schedule and on budget. With a design plan in hand, I was looking for a contractor with the ability to execute my bathroom and bedroom remodel plan, fix some sloppy workmanship from a previous contractor, keep us within budget, and, with a sense of style, assist me in making decisions (as inevitably, challenges arise). A lot to ask for! But I feel like I got it all with Ivan and his partner Esbin. I look forward to working with them again on my next project.

Ivan and his team did an amazing job on our remodel. They fully gutted our 1940's bathroom and built two new bathrooms for us. It was our first remodel and we were lucky to work with Ivan, he made it easy. He's an excellent communicator and he finished right on time. First, Ivan is incredibly knowledgeable. During a brief consultation, he offered suggestions for how to reimagine our space to achieve the maximum benefit from it. He partnered wonderfully with our designer and responded to requests and inquiries promptly. Ivan and the crew working on our project, Esbin and Eduardo, were highly professional, trustworthy, courteous, and kind. A dream team! And the quality of their work is unparalleled. They are meticulous, detail-oriented, and precise. Our project required floor-to-ceiling tile work, and nothing is out of place. This truly is a testament to the team's pride in their work. Ivan Ivanet and Marinland Builders are exceptional. They are very hard working, professional, do excellent work with great care for the details and Marinland Builders are very cost-conscious. Ivan has routinely underbid other contractors, kept within the budget and delivered high quality craftsmanship in his and his teams work. I have only praise for Ivan and Marinland Builders.
Work that he has done for us includes a great bike shed that he built in a week; turning a storage space into a beautiful 3rd bedroom and expanding our master bedroom. All were exceptionally well done.

Ivan and his team remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms in 2019. This included demolition of the original 1940s materials, some design ideas (we also had design help from kitchen cabinet company), coordination with town permitting office and of course building the new areas. Ivan's team did a great job, communicated effectively, have competitive prices and they're my go to for home projects. This sounds crazy but they came in on budget and on time!

I just caught up with Ivan today and he said he's wrapping up a project and has some availability coming up for the first time in years.

We hired Ivan to remodel our kitchen, family room and dining/living room. This was the best experience we have ever had working with a contractor! Ivan and his team were incredibly professional, communicative, and just all-around wonderful to work with over the course of the project. Ivan was flexible when accommodating adjustments/changes we made along they way, always gave sound advice on being cost-efficient in the choice made, and was very clear around impact to budget and/or timeline. We ended up finishing the project as planned on time and budget -with everything done to our complete satisfaction. We highly recommend Ivan!
