Martin Brothers is an amazing locally owned business. I've been living in Mill Valley for 25 years and I never knew they existed! My friend Carol informed me about their business so I decided to stop by for some gravel that I needed for my yard. Their collection is incredible, I felt so amazed with all the different Ideas I had gathered for my yard. Long story short, my yard looks beautiful thanks to Martin Brothers and their wonderful employees. I will definitely be coming back for all my landscape needs!

Able to get materials that you need at a decent price

Was planning to drive north to Novato for firewood but called Martin Bros and they said they have lots. Particularly nice that they sell a variety of quantities from 50 pieces to a cord or more. It's dry, too! And the people are very helpful!

Old school, no frills supply company with a solid service team, competitive pricing and everything you need for a yard reset. On-site and delivery experience were both solid.

Amazing family owned business. Great service. Much better and more affordable to buy soil, rocks and all landscaping materials here than at the expensive garden and hardware stores. Also, a great place for birdseed!

Great place! I didn't know this existed. Bought landscaping rocks and they have lots of rock related items!

most of the time you can't find who can help you load gravel or soil.

Prices compared with other construction suppliers are mostly the same or more expensive, and they won't help you load material if is by the bag .
I've been there few times because is the closest to where I work sometimes but as I said if I want bags of gravel I have to fill them up myself .
Now I only go if I need concrete mix , not the best soil or mulches.
Not the best customer service either,
Good for only emergencies!

Great place for Marin gardeners! First of all - yes, everyone in masks - next - if you love roses, this is THE BEST PLACE to get a large bag of alfalfa pellets (used for animal feed) at lowest price to mulch your roses in the springtime. They are also great source for various size bulk lava rocks - I use large chunks for drainage base in potted plants and small gravel to mulch lavender plants so base does not rot. Waiting to see if they will carry large bags of cottonseed meal which is used to mulch acid loving camellias twice a year, April and August, I learned that from famous Filoli Gardens in Woodside, who has legendary camellia gardens. Large supply of other rock and stepping stone needs, and fast friendly service. I like to support local independents!

The prices here are almost always lower than at the other landscape supply places, the staff is friendly and there is almost never a wait for service.
