Martin's Handywork

I have finally found a very good handyman! I spent several weeks of searching for someone to install two new ceiling fans in my home.

They were all too busy to do a small job, or they would call me back or, it would take a few weeks before they could get to me. None of them called me back, except Martin.

He called me back the same day and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He removed two old fans and expertly install the new ones.

I will be calling him back soon to do some work on my outdoor decks, for which he provided a fair estimate.

Martin and his assistant came by to replace my condo's garbage disposal! They came in quickly after the initial call, did an inspection, and bought/replaced the part all within a couple of hours. Martin was very punctual and communicative throughout the process as well. Highly recommend!

Martin did the fence and deck stain for us. He's meticulous on prep work and did an awesome job. He would let us know which tool can finish the job faster and have better quality. He listens to feedback and work nonstop. Now he's helping us to build a studio shed! (Separate review upcoming)

Hired Martin to do some Sheetrock work. He was on time, communication was good, accepted Venmo and most importantly he did a great job.

Martin was super responsive. I had a series of small projects, and he rolled into a consolidated couple of hours, delivering exactly what I was looking for.

I found Martin on Yelp - yay Yelp! And I have had great success finding professionals through Yelp's auto messaging system that allows you to send out multiple inquiries at once for hiring potential professionals.

I just moved, and I needed a handyman to help install curtain rods in my bedrooms and hang a heavy mirror. It wasn't a big job but I needed it done fairly quickly.

Martin answered my inquiry very quickly and I had booked him for the following morning. He was punctual, friendly, super professional and did a great job own hanging the rods and the mirror! His prices were comparable to others and very reasonable.

Now I have curtains! Yay!

I also now have a handyman if I ever need more jobs done around the house (and I am pretty sure, I will!)

We hired Martin to install an interior door in our home. He was great. We sent him photos to get a quote which he provided within minutes and was able to accommodate our schedule perfectly for doing the job.

He was meticulous and the work was very high quality, while being reasonably priced. When we asked him if he could paint the door as well (after he had already started the installation) he gave us a quote up front so we could make an informed decision. We really appreciated this level of communication. Martin brought everything he needed to finish the job and clean up after the work.

Can't wait to hire him again for future projects!

Martin and his assistant worked on a Saturday to reduce the width of a cavity so a dishwasher could be installed. Martin was very knowledgeable yet courteous and did an excellent job!

A French door was jammed shut and I was worried that forcing it open would damage either the threshold below the door or the door itself. I got in touch with Martin and he came out promptly to see what was wrong.

He was friendly and fixed the problem quickly. The threshold looks as good as new and the door opens and closes beautifully. I'm very happy with Martin's service.

Be aware that he does not accept checks for small jobs; he asked for cash but accepted Venmo.

We hired Martin to fix our carpet, and he did a really good job. Communication was clear and timely. He texted us when he was on-the-way, which we appreciated. Martin is friendly, no-drama, a good communicator and skilled at his work. Martin also repaired our dishwasher which our complex's handymen have not been able to fix. We asked him about a couple more projects, and Martin offered some ideas. He listened to us and offered us creative options. We are very grateful to have found him and will be calling on Martin again.

Martin was able to paint my condo on short notice and did a terrific job. He was very professional and friendly throughout, advising me on the paint I would need and working with me to obtain it. The price was reasonable. I would definitely use him again.
