Ma's European Auto Service

I was in a bind. My regular mechanic was not open on the Saturday after they replaced my brake pads and rotors Friday afternoon. As I drove over the San Mateo bridge, my car started making a loud thumping noise which got louder the faster I went. I went home and tried to see under my car to see if there was anything I picked up but there was nothing. The thumping noise was so alarming that I was worried that it could be dangerous for me to drive and I had several appointments Saturday and Sunday to attend. I went to a nearby mechanic in Foster City but they weren't interested in helping me see what was wrong. I punched san mateo auto repair into my phone and up came yelp's excellent reviews of Ma's auto repair shop. I called and they were open (3:00 saturday afternoon) and would look at my car. They were so nice. The mechanic drove with me to hear the noise and then put my car up on the rack. They didn't find anything wrong but when they gave it back to me, the noise was gone. It must have been something loose and it got fixed when they put the brake cover back on. No charge and so very nice. Thank you so much.

I was searching for a repair spot in San Mateo and I was glad I stopped at this shop. I walked in and met Andre who provided me with great service. Will be returning again.

I have been a customer with Ma's for several years now. I have always brought my Subaru Outback there for services. Pao is the manager. He has been my trustworthy advisor. He is knowledgeable and informative. He always keep me updated with the repair process.

My car had an engine misfire issue last month and brake/suspension problem earlier this year. Of course I brought it to Pao and the crew at Ma's did the diagnosis and got the problems fixed in a timely manner. They also charge reasonably for the repairs.

My Subaru is my reliable daily commute car. Pao along with his crew at Ma's has been doing a great job in keeping my car constantly reliable.

My car battery was acting up a few saturdays ago so I popped into Ma's Auto and Kevin was super helpful. They scanned the car and restarted it in under 10 minutes and free of charge. I would definitely come back for the quick service, and nice crew

I have been to many repair shops but now I only and will always come back to Ma's. Researched them online and went there for oil change which they helped me found out other problems, literally saved my life and prevent from things happening. Pricing was more friendly compared to other shops too!

Most Honest Car Repair Shop!!

I took my car (Fiat 500e) to have the back brake pads replaced and checked the rotors because the dealer had asked to do it. I felt uneasy at the dealer's recommendations because of the low mileage. I took the car with Ma's European Auto Service just to find out my brakes were over 90% good, and they did not need to be replaced. This honesty is hard to find nowadays. THANK YOU!!
