Mauro's Plumbing

I hired Mauro and crew to replace the old galvanized steel piping under my 1928 home. Fortunately, the crawl space was accessible, but it was still a significant job. The mains to and from the water heater had to be upsized and replaced with copper, and Mauro recommended replacing the main line in from the meter as well (considering that the old main was exposed to outdoor temperatures and moisture.

They were even amenable to me digging the ditch in my front yard to save a little bit of money. (Easier said than done. )

The team was able to get me scheduled within a few weeks of the estimate and completed the task in a full day. The quality of work was excellent. I'd happily use Mauro for future plumbing projects.

Rates aren't cheap, but they aren't unreasonable, and they do quality work. Really pleased with the service, from the call to their front desk to the workers coming out.

They were available the very next morning, were very prompt arriving, and did a whole laundry list of things we've been putting off in exactly the time and price we were quoted. Really couldn't be happier with a plumber-- you definitely get what you pay for!

We've been working with Mauro's plumbing for many years, and they always provide excellent service. I applaud them for excellent communication, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Most recently they helped us with a gas leak in our home, which ended up being a big job. The team took care of the problem and it has not reoccurred in the months that passed since. I'm super disappointed and annoyed with the service. The consultation went great and the technicians were fine. The gap in communication and the mess that was left after repairs were made, well sucked. Water also got into the dry wall and they didn't care. I'm now airing it out trying to prevent mold growth.

After a few months of our slow draining sink we decided to call a plumber. We contacted Mauro's Plumbing and were able to book an appointment the following afternoon.

Our first impressions were not great... Luiz and Javier arrived almost two hours late due to their previous plumbing job running longer than expected. And after snaking the drain, a pipe broke and water began leaking through the downstairs ceiling. It wasn't their fault, though, the galvanized pipes were about 80 years old. They said they would have to come back and replace the broken pipe. I asked how much it would cost to change the whole sink drain pipe and they gave an estimate of $2,500.

The following day, they arrived nearly an hour early and began working immediately. Luiz said they will do their best to finish the job in one day. These guys work HARD. They went non stop from 10:00am - 7:00pm. I didn't see them stop to eat lunch, snack, or even sit down to take a breather. I thought there was going to be a huge mess after the job was over because they had to open up our ceiling, remove 20 feet of piping, plus and additional 70 feet of piping in the crawl space and replace them. But they got the job done and cleaned up EVERYTHING as if the new pipes magically appeared 9 hours later. You can literally just sit back, drink a beer, watch the game, and these guys will fix your plumbing problems with no fuss and no mess. In the end we were charged exactly $2,500.

Initially I was going to give these guys maybe like 3 or 4 stars or not bother to write a review but they were so incredibly hard working, kind, and professional that I felt obligated to do so. I see now why they have 5/5 star reviews.

Mauro's Plumbing just replaced the wax seals on both of our toilets and also installed quarter turn shut off valves. Jose and Rodrigo did a great job and left both bathrooms spotlessly clean. I couldn't ask for better service.

The only positive feedback I can provide this company is the promptness they provided to send a plumber out the same day I called for service. Their customer service and communication are the reasons why I'm giving them a poor rating. They informed me that a toilet leak from an upstairs unit had to be addressed by cutting a hole in the ceiling of the downstairs unit. Naturally we opened the door to the downstairs unit for the plumber. Unbeknownst to us, the plumber instead cut a hole in the laundry room to address the issue. We hired a handyman to patch the hole in the wall the following day assuming that it was located in the downstairs unit. When he notified us that there was no hole, we were confused. I reached out to Mauro's and that's when they told me the hole was inside the laundry room. I had to take time off work and drive over to our apartment complex to open the door to the laundry room as the handyman was charging us by the hour. All of this headache could have easily been avoided had they communicated that the location of the work was performed in a different location. The other issue I had was that there was no follow up after the initial visit from the plumber. All I received was another email quote the next day for something I thought had already been taken care of the previous day. I had to reach out to Mauro's to get clarification. Hopefully the quality of their workmanship exceeds that of their customer service.
