Maverick Jack's Burlingame

This place was amazing. We had two burgers and a shake. Overall, the service and food were exceptional.

We love the dining experience here and how friendly the staff was. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Overall just a standard experience. I got the basic "classic" burger and it wasn't anything special. The meat was a bit bland and could have used a bit more salt. At $16+ burger I expected something more tasty.

The restaurant could be kind of loud with the CalTrain passing through, but it's a cute restaurant and the service was good.

We recently had a fantastic dining experience at Maverick Jacks in Burlingame. Our large party dined on the outdoor patio for a birthday party, and we were thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service.

Our server, Laura, was phenomenal. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and one of the best servers I've ever encountered. Her exceptional service truly made our visit special.

I enjoyed the Impossible Burger, which was delicious, and the variety of sides--onion rings, french fries, and sweet potato fries--were all equally tasty.

The ambience on the patio was delightful, despite the occasional train horn blowing. It added a bit of local charm to our experience. The entire staff was great, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Overall, Maverick Jacks provided an excellent dining experience with outstanding service and delicious food. Highly recommended!

Me and my friend ordered 2 burgers with fries and a vanilla milk shake. And iam sorry but it was bad.. The milk shake was watery and had a powdery taste to it. The Burger's.. they are NOT worth the $20.00 a Burger. Mine was raw in the middle and cold. $56.00 for 2 burgers with fries,fries might be extra not sure? And the $12.00 milk shake was not worth it at all. I was excited to hear they were the same people that had Jack's prime in San Mateo,at least I thought they were. I love Jack's prime in San Mateo ,this was in No way shape or form the same people that had Jack's prime Burger's. I read the review's before ww went .I guess its my fault for assuming they were the same in through first place. Iam sorry I live on a fixed income and i really can't afford to waste my money again

A real American burger joint. In the right spot with all the excitement of the railroad train passing by while heaving a well done burger with fries along with some good San Fransokyo salad.
Cool ambience inside and out. Three outside patios, inside there are few small and large party tables. Pleasant and friendly, welcoming service by all personnel.
Overall, very good experience and will be glad to be back.

If burgers are your thing, this spot is a good choice (well, after all, that's the bulk of their menu choices). They could flatten the patty a bit cause it felt too bulky, but it would risk losing its juices, yet the patties were slightly overcooked. Fries are solid and not overly salty. Service is great, though it was early and only a few people were dining. Love the location, good ambiance and decor with indoor or outdoor seating, though parking can be an issue. The train roars right next to the restaurant, but I didn't find it too distracting.

Tucked on the corner of a very busy crossroad! Entrance to parking is narrow and if you do not drive slowly you will miss it.

Service was ok.

Food was comparable to that of other diner food.

Burgers weren't bad; just average.

Shakes were average.

Overall: an average experience :) thanks!

Food and service is great when you are sitting there. Doordash/take out? Not that great. I ordered through Doordash but they didnt give an option for sauce for the tenders. This isn't a new thing either, its never been an option since the pandemic. I was hoping after a few years of ordering they would add it, but the only thing they did was add more drink options.

So I called trying to ask someone to add Ketchup and Ranch. I've been calling them from the time I placed the order to when the order was picked up. No one answered. Instead I just asked my dasher to grab it for me. Please add the option for sauce. We cant dry dog tenders.

Edit: So the food came and it came with ranch. That got me laughing. That means whoever was giving out the dasher's the food lied and said that they were out of ranch. Lo and behold, there was a ranch inside the container. Nice. Let me just lower this to a 3 star now since someone who works here lied.

All I can say about this great burger place is Wow..delicious not dry burger @ all! We came in today on this sunny Sunday 10/29/2023..our first time to try this place coz every time we go to Burlingame from SF..we see Maverick Jack's right near the Caltrain depot!

I noticed she was everywhere and had a wonderful attitude asking us if we were doing alright and also asking other customers there as well! Great job Giana for being there for not only me and my honey but enjoyed observing how spectacular you are and working hard!
I appreciated the guy that gave us our food! I asked for extra Aioli sauce and he came right away! Very nice..thanks! :)

There's also nice outdoor tables in case you have your dogs with you?!?!
The flooring has like these fake grass carpets..a homey feeling for pets! Lol!

Everything was exceptional! I had the Asian teriyaki chicken salad that was fantastic. My husband loved his burger. The staff were very nice and dog friendly. We will be back :)
