May's Alteration

I called May on a Monday morning to ask for a quote but she said it would be better if I brought in my dress so she can give me a more accurate quote. I came in later that afternoon during my lunch break and her pricing was reasonable.

She said I could pick it up later that week on Friday which was perfect because I needed my dress for a family photoshoot that weekend. May did a great job hemming my floral maxi dress. She is sweet and professional. I highly recommend her for alterations and will definitely return to her for future alterations. Thank you May!!

May was excellent! I went to her with a dress that was a bit tight on the zipper. She took my measurements and was able to open the dress up and adjust it to my size. She also altered the hem.

She finished it within a week, at a very affordable price.

I searched quite a few places in San Leandro and San Lorenzo and none could accommodate the alterations I needed for my tuxedo. I Reached out to May's alteration and she was able to make all of the changes needed and get it back to me within two weeks. She has experience with current trends and styles and was very responsive. The tux looks great and I am very happy with the final product. Highly recommend!

Does anyone have mays cell phone number?? I was supposed to pick up my dress today (Friday) but was unable too and I fly out on Saturday. Any help would be appreciated!!

I have sent many of my items to get hemmed and she has always done a great job from formal dresses to regular pants. She is very affordable! I will continue to go back here!

I have used her service several times for a variety of items from simple A line skirts to my daughters formal prom dresses. She has not disappointed me yet. Will definitely use her services again.

I came in to get a pair of Levi's taken in. I know how to take them in, but unfortunately I don't have my sewing machine. I picked them up 2 days later and brought them home, only to realize that they were 1.) not taken in enough (half as much as I needed) AND 2.) not even altered the correct way. They are sloppy, untrimmed and now they are uncomfortable to wear. Highly disappointed in her ability to do this, especially with how basic my request was. I do not recommend.

I've been coming to May since she bought the business from Janet several years sago. She has done a variety of fabrics and everything from suits to jeans for us. She is reasonably priced works quickly.
